Ephraim disappeared from history to fulfill the promise to become many nations and bless the world. The Jews remained as Jews and did the opposite of bless the world.
The true chosen people, according to Moses, are the Egyptian sons of Joseph who became the House of Israel and fought against the House of Judah.
Even Jesus told his Apostles the specifically go to the Lost Tribes of Israel, not the Jews who weren't lost at all.
To me, Christianity is the only fulfillment of the promises and what brought Israel back together.
