- Olu Deniz in May 2022 , it is nearly ready and waiting for you! The stunning Belcekiz beach with it's turquoise waters. The most photographed beach in Turkey and one of the most photographed beaches in the world. Olu Deniz really is an exceptional holiday resort.
The long beach is currently having a great restoration with 3 stunning new restaurants being built on the beach. Ready in about 1 weeks time.
The sunbeds are there in their hundreds waiting for you to arrive.
On the waters every day the boats leave and take tourists to places like Butterfly valley, St Nicolas Island, the blue Cave and other awesome places. We have the huge pirate boats of Olu Deniz, The Viking, Jack Sparrow, Hannibal, Mr Robinson and more ready with great music and making sure you enjoy the party atmosphere with loads of singing and dancing. You can take a smaller boat out with no music and relax if that is your thing or even take out a small private boat . Great value of around 250/300tl for the day with lunch inclusive. Great value. Leaving at 11am back around 5pm.
Maybe you just want to chill on the beach. It is incredible. Sunbeds and umbrellas have a fee but cheap.
Olu Deniz is famous also for it's paragliding and the pilots fly from the Babadag mountain sometimes 5 times a day and land on the Olu Deniz promenade. It has a New cable car experience you need to try that takes you to 1700ms on the Babadag mountain where there is a lovely restaurant over looking Olu Deniz Beach and the surrounding mountains. Great to sit and watch the pilots all jump off the mountain in front of you. In the resort below many shops are selling the paragliding, Sky Sports in Olu Deniz and Easy Rider in Olu Deniz are a few to mention. Check out these videos.

Olu Deniz has many restaurants facing the sea and people just sit around drinking pinna coladas and other cocktails watching the day go by. We recommend Friends restaurant, Buzz bar and Tiger restaurants all on the front .

Olu Deniz shopping is great, many shops line the main street and offering many unusual products. Get yourself shopping in Olu deniz.
There is a main street in Olu Deniz which is lined with bars, restaurants and shops , you cannot miss it.
What about Olu Deniz Blue Lagoon, we went to one of the many private beaches which you can just walk into as long as you eat or drink. We visited the Green Pine Beach. wow, incredible, paradise! 36 bungalows are on this beach that you can rent out overnight. They sit on the blue Lagoon itself. Many lovely sitting areas, sunbeds and a lovely restaurant that caters for all your needs. Get down and check it oot.

I went to Olu Deniz about 9-10 years ago and stayed in the hotel at the top of the hill on the left, it had just opened. 1 of the best holidays iv had, the Turkish people are the most friendlies people I have ever met and I have travelled all over the world...

Did the paraglide off the big mountain behind Olu Deniz a few years ago. Absolutely brilliant. One of the best things I have ever done on holiday. You land on the beach. Really enjoyed Turkey, great holiday. The Turkish were very friendly.

I was there in the village above stayed in hotel asena in the 90s was beautiful the people were fantastic treated us like Kings and Queens the Scots are loved very much in this part of Turkey 🏴

I spent 3 months at Ulu Deniz in 1974.
Made it the first and only nudist beach in Turkey and made the front page of Fethiye News.
We met Alysham, a young Turkish general in charge of the army garrison there.
Also the Turkish admiral and local judge. Great hospitality until they learned I was Greek and thought me to be a Greek spy. Nonetheless, they held a grand banquet on the beach in my honor the day we left. They roasted a goat. Great memories of this wonderful place before it was developed.

You hardly ever meet anyone who only went there once, almost everyone goes back many times, I first went in 1993 stayed at Metro Hotel as not many others, events bought a Villa there!!!

I've watched a few of your videos now and they've given me some ideas for my holiday in July. I'm spending 2 weeks in Oludeniz with my boys aged 12 and 14. It'll be our first holiday in 5 years and we're all really looking forward to it. So far, based on your vlogs, we're going to visit the abandoned village plus an afternoon at that cool bar you visited with the swimming pool, a day trip to Orca Water Park, a trip on the cablecar, and maybe, if it's not too hot, a trip into Fethiya. My only concern is it'll be too hot. I can handle it up to the mid 30s and then I struggle. What sort of daytime highs can we expect the last week of July, the first week of August? And thank you for making such informative vlogs, they're so so useful and have already placed my spending money in the hands of local businesses :-)

Loved it all selling genuine imitations, cheap as chips, first time I went was recommended by a guy who said slight earthquake when he was their if it's still there next year he was definitely going back, if you havn't got kids high season recommend up in mountains hisaronu cooler/less Russians or was. I am pondering if i need to take money or Lira i should say vs just a card, i wonder from the markets etc there do they take card? or is it just worth taking Lira, and i saw some exchange places in your video and have seen some suggesting not to take Lira with you but to get it when there.
Bring your card...you can use everywhere but bring sterling and change in one of these many change offices if you need hard cash .Thanks for watching

I remember swimming across this lagoon before they roped it off and spotting a shark out of the corner of my eye, wasn't that far to swim but I stayed on the other side of the riverbank for ages not wanting to bump into that fella on the way back lol

Hi ..you will find all the paragliding will probably be the same price....you can haggle ofcourse. Go online....Fethiye has many brilliant hiking groups .You can join for the day no problem and some of the hikes are amazing .. .places to visit ? ...check out my videos, you will find so so many places of historic value or if its just fun...boat trips, jeep safaris, etc.

Hi thanks for watching..private boats can be expensive as it depends on how many are on it...for eg you usually need about 10 people to make it worthwhile..im not sure the cost this year but contact a boat called Asta...in calis online and you will get a good idea on prices for private.
ive seen a lot of videos of this area of Oludeniz but I understand there is an area set a mile back up the main road it goes past the cable car entrance...what is that area like please

Great video what I would like to see is the prices around town maybe you get prices for the activities. just focus the camera on the menus at the front of restaurants so we could pause and take a look st prices. I really wanted to know how much paragliding was. But over all great 👍

Personally id give it a 9..reason being it has great hotels you do not need to leave...if you do..hige beach with so much going on...10 minutes from the next resort Hisaronu and only a half hour from the stunning town of Fethiye...the other 1% is price..its good value if you have foreign currency ...but its more expensive than other resorts

I was first there 30 years ago it was a paradise, today it is a tourist trap full of tourist tat, hookey bars and usual rubbish. Have been back 3 times since and it has been ruined.
Good video but the beach has gravel on it , I've been there and I can tell you the beaches in marjorca Alcudia are alot nicer and Sandier than old deniz and alot better.

Absolutely simon... one of the best beaches i was ever on was in Menorca..loved it..fine sand and also in Thailand and Tunisia..fine white sand..im not a lover of pebble beaches... olu deniz at the far end is all sand its great but parts are pebbles so its getting the right spot...no offence taken....preferences as you say.. good on ya

Shame the lovely beachfront cafes and bar have been replaced with a empty and soulless bar. We have just returned home from olu deniz and we found it a changed place. A lot of new paragliding businesses have opened up and it seems to have overtook the resort. Such a shame as we have been there 5 times and loved it.
I think your correct in terms of it would be better if the front had less paragliding companies and more cafes etc.....but its still an amazing place although so touristic ....thats Olu Deniz
I went oludenise couple years back altho nice beach blue lagoon
What you need 5o know to visit blue lagoon u need to pay every time to visit
Also the beach at night dont have much of nightlife
The only thing going for this beach is paragliding besides that nothing else I would think going more gumbet or marmaris tbh I was disappointed as a young person who likes jetski only one guy did it
Also no quad bike hire nice but nor for me
Earth worm..the nightlife these days there is crazy wild if you like that .its all changed..There are water sports and quad bikes are everywhere..you need to re visit

Hello Ashley ..yes is the answer..but , not much..i had only 3 videos from 45 where people said do not video me ..so..i cut that part from the video..otherwise its ok. A few times you get looks and realise maybe someone looked uncomfortable but when i edit i make sure they are cut. Most people love the interaction .

I'm thinking about going to Turkey so where would you personally suggest to stay. I have no interest in partying all day in night clubs or touristy type places but I also don't want to be int he middle of nowhere.
Calis is not as touristy as oludeniz or Hisaronu. There are quite spots but I you want busy its not far. You can also take trips to say Yesiluzumlu half hour away. Beautiful village with traditions, restaurants cafes and just lovely. So I'd say Calis in the area is the quietest or Fethiye itself.

And that is why My wife and two daughters will never visit Turkey again . After 4 days they never went anywhere alone again , And thats the Problem with Turkey 🇹🇷
