People kill me talking about the price. You bought a Glock for $550 and by the time you upgrade the trigger, upgrade the sights, add a stipple job you’re basically at the same price as this gun.
I agree. But Glocks cost about $650 to $750 where I live. And a must do upgrade is sights and trigger. So the M&P is way better out of the box and is more accurate. Glocks suck
Excellent video and great shooting. I’m actually mad at M&P for this tho, I just copped the previous compact carry version of this without any clue that there was going to drop this. And I love this frigging gun, I can’t even imagine the pleasure the updated compensated version shoots like.

Love it! Been waiting for you to Make this video when I saw the carry comp release. Will you be slapping this on your compact frame to edc it sticking with the mr920? Never thought you’d switch man! lol
so tempting and i JUST got my p10c a few weeks ago is that from hand grip piece tight on the frame? saw some other youtuber complaining about it shifting around a bit
So u put a full size polymer frame on the gun instead of the compact size frame ? Then how does it compare grip/purchase wise on the gun ? Also if I wanted to do the same thing how would I go about it ?
I had/have a 4.25 full size m&p already so I swapped the slides. I have larger hands so the extra grips helps me get a complete grip. Which helps speed up my draw. As far as doing the same thing I suggest just looking for a used 4.25 or I'm sure there are websites Out there that sell frames

I haven't ordered a new one yet but the 4.25 m&p9/40 should work for it. The t1 holster I have already works just fine. If you're not running a light I heard the metal frame ran into some fitment issues though
I feel like the polymer one is a bargain. I just wish it had the tall sights. But compare what a g19 would cost to make similar and the carry comp is a value.
Yeah wait several months or a year or more and this joint will be like $500, optic included, 5 mags, and a range bag, with a rebate to boot. Did you switch the trigger on the compact frame back to stock from the red Apex?
@@cashrun1 no I have a compact frame with the apex trigger and the factory compact frame that came on the carry comp
Why did you choose this over the metal?
Have you had any issues with the Tarren Magwell? Like mag basepad compatibility and mags dropping free?
So far no issues. Although I've only used the tti extensions/s&w 23 rounders

Yo, what is your opinion on carrying a carry comp (4.25” length) versus a regular 4” compact? Wondering if that difference is noticeable
nothing really just longer. if you run irons is where you will see the most difference. if you run a red dot it dont matter
I notice the added width more than length when I carry. I believe The carry comp is 1.4” wide and the compact is 1.16” wide.
I'm a first-timer I really enjoyed the review I'll be back impossibly subscribe
Question for you. If I got the metal frame version can I swap the slide to a compact frame that I already have? Kind of get the best of both worlds?
@@3verydayShooter I can't say with 100% certainty but I'm 99.9% sure you can
it's completely modular so yeah you can
yes, same exact slide on poly and metal
