Any form of “burnout” (for a lack of a better term) is perfectly reasonable, but as long as you’re doing what you love that’s what matters.

Nah I can see what you mean, I’m just coming to this video after Adams recent upload and I think both versions are pretty good in their own right, and I don’t know how I feel about the shakurachi or Japanese flute thingy
@@michaelknight2342 tbh the drumming in the recorded version is so killing, some of the ryhthms and hits in the chorus are just nuts, but the sax solo in the live version is also so much more killing so its hard, but both are good

If this was to be recorded properly in a studio it would be absolutely immense. I just love the arrangement and use chordal embellishment to the chorus especially. Keep doing what you’re doing man, it’s inspiring thousands :))

I keep coming back to this video for that fucking stellar sax solo. Honestly, horn players should get most of the solos guitarists get, and I say that as a guitar player. When I'm in the audience a trombone or trumpet or sax taking a solo grabs my attention way more than any other instruments, skill levels of individual players notwithstanding.

Buster walks out of the club, pulls his saxophone out while crossing a bridge and tosses it right into the river. I feel like Buster Smith when I hear Zac or Jared playing a solo, because it's like...Why even bother when there is talent like that out in the world making such excellent music?

I like Zac's solo better in this version. The studio version sure displays more "chops" in the note choice and maybe playing (I don't play sax), but sometimes, all you need is just holding out a few right notes with them sweet sweet FEELS
