- Hello, lovely people! ✨ This week’s video is a journal catch-up in both my Weeks and my commonplace book.
My thoughts on Wharton’s book are coming soon-I just haven’t had time to gather them yet.

I had the same emotional reaction when visiting the Sagrada Familia! I know exactly what you mean - it is just overwhelmingly beautiful 🥺
Love the snippets of Korea at the start! I really like that you discuss the thought process or idea behind your spreads. For commonplacing, I try to finish reading an article or book and then go back to the quotes/paragraphs that I resonated with and copy them - under each one I put my thoughts about it and try to write why I think those things resonated with me at this time in my life.
Yes, I think that’s the best method for me too. If I ever look back, I want to understand why I chose to write those words down in that moment. I feel like I need to engage with whatever I add to my pages. Thank you for your kind words ✨
Absolutely in love with your spreads. You’ve definitely inspired me to buy a weeks for 2025! I look forward to your next video🩵🩵
Oh wow! I hope your journey with the Weeks goes well! If you share it on social media, let me know-I’d love to see it!🤍
Feel better! I absolutely love your book discussions. Edith Wharton also happens to be one of my favorite authors and I’ve never read “Ghosts,” so I just put it on my list! “Down Under” looks amazing as well. Your videos are wonderful, please keep them going!
I am so happy to hear that! Thank you so so much for your comment! If you read it let me know how it goes✨
Esperando con impaciencia el video
I’m behind in catching up on your videos but i enjoyed this one so much!! It’s so interesting to hear your currently reading thoughts as well, thank you so much for sharing! Those stickers are super cute & it’s true if you buy a container for stationery then you feel like you have to fill it up haha so it’s very smart to use it for something else 😆it’s a beautiful blue!
Thank you so much for watching! 🌸 Since moving abroad, I’ve had this lingering fear about how I’d ever fit everything in my luggage if I went back home. Realistically, I know I can ship things, but it still makes me more mindful about what I purchase.
absolutely adore your pages! would love to hear you talk about books more and more. i enjoy your talking style a whole lot. hope you’re feeling better already 💛
@@lovkive you are too kind🥰 thank you so much 😊
I'm always excited to see a new upload from you! I have the same feelings about commonplacing. I sometimes feel bad that I don't use my commonplace too often but then I remember that I only catalogue things that are truly important to me or resonate with me. It feels better than just filling pages for the sake of using the book, if that makes sense 😅
P.S. I hope you fell better soon ❤
I feel the same way. After experimenting with commonplacing, I realized I’ll approach it more slowly and start calling it my ‘little book of connections.’ I want the things I write there to be in conversation with each other-this way, I think I can learn more. ✨ Thank you for your comment 🤍
i watched this without sound and idk wtf that blue bag looking thing is but i want it lol.
love your setup and handwriting! its clean and cute.
I think you mean the blue tool box. It is from Toyo!
Your pages look so nice, love them!
I read my first Wharton earlier this year, The House of Mirth and absolutely adored it, definitely gonna be in my top 10 of the year, Ghosts sounds really good aswell.
i hope you’re feeling better now! i’m so glad to have found your channel, your taste in books seems pretty close to mine! excited to hear more about your reads & your thoughts on commonplacing.
Thank you! 😊 please let me know if you have any book recommendations, I will be happy to check them out✨
@@adrislogs the last book i read & enjoyed was by a spanish author actually! "woodworm" by layla martínez, it was one of my spooky reads this year (i read the english translation, but i'm learning spanish so i hope to be able to read books in spanish one day haha). i also noticed you had a han kang book on your desk in one video - i like korean literature a lot, she's one of my faves. another one is hwang sok-yong and for non-fiction i really loved "the great soul of siberia" by park soo-yong, if you like books about nature, i really recommend that one! 🍀
@ f Layla’s book, so I’ll definitely check it out. Korean literature is a huge passion of mine-it’s actually the main reason I moved to Korea to study. Han Kang is my favorite; I based my entire master’s thesis on her work. If you enjoy short stories, I highly recommend Ha Seong-nan’s Flowers of Mold!
@@adrislogs ah that's so cool! i would love to hear more about your thesis 😍 소년이 온다/"human acts" is my favourite work of hers. i also studied korean literature at uni (in london, but i spent a year in seoul as part of my bachelor's degree). thanks for the recommendation, i've never read any ha seong-nan, but i've been meaning to read "bluebeard's first wife" - i'll def add "flowers of mold" to my list as well! 💗
Beautiful pages. I really love your videos and the way your journals look ❤❤
Thank you so much! I love your videos too!🤍
Hi, Adri!! I DMed you last week about stationary shops in BCN and you kindly answered :> I loved my trip to BCN and all your suggestions! If you ever need some Lisbon tips, let me know 🥰 also, your Weeks is looking so so cool!!
@@soggy_doggy Oh, I’m so happy you enjoyed it! I’ll definitely reach out if I ever need any recommendations for Lisbon😊✨
😍 I adore the way you fill your pages, maybe someday you could show us how do you print erin ware stickers to use them in your planner?
Ooh, thank you for your kind words! I wish I had a fancy method, but I actually just print them at a self-service print cafe. I’m too nervous to mess with those industrial printers, so I don’t even change the paper! 😂 I think it’s just regular copy paper.
Felicidades
Gracias ❤️
Hi!!! Loved the video. May I ask where are those face stickers from?
@@sofiasantillandiaz9124 Thank you! The brand is Circus Boy Band, I believe is a Korean brand ✨
how do you get those tiny pictures for your journals? what kind of printer do you use?
I get them printed at the shop, I think that’s why they have a nice quality! I guess they use one of those big industrial printers ✨
