The fact that a white notebook can stain easily can be a good thing though; it will get its own character so to speak over time - all the stains it collects will kind of tell a story about the story of the book (dirt-stain from your favorite spot in a park, water-stain from a river, ...). All that will make it unique after it is finished. Sure, signs of wear might also be noticeable on a darker notebook too - but since they are more visible on a white (/ lighter) notebook, it will shape its "character" even more and make it "more unique".
And if you finished your very loved notebook, put a clear film over it to preserve all the love stains. Or, if you don’t want to have them, put it on after the stickers for protection.

I have some empty notebooks and am not consistent when it comes to planning or journaling, so I think this commonplace concept is interesting! I'll start my own commonplace too! And for a content idea I think it's interesting to do an empty notebook collection! Just a suggestion okayy
