Hi. You mention the YUS series feature an improved cabinet design vs. the U series. Could you comment on the difference, and what it means in terms of tone? I am am undecided between the U1 and YUS1 :-)
Hi Wendy. The Yamaha U2 sits in the U series between the U1 and U3 in terms of size, at 127cm tall. They are no longer in production, but there is the occasional pre-owned or reconditioned model available. David
Whether the background music is beautiful or not (I don't think it is), it is annoyingly loud! It is overcrowding what is being said. We have to strain our ears to hear what is being said.

Then what are ju109 and jx113t ?? Are they same as B1 and B2?
Yes, they are and the U1J is the same as B3. It's actually the same as U1 and made in Indonesia (Jakarta) whereas, the U1 is made in Japan.
