Great video, but I tend to disagree. I dont like to let speculation determine when or how much PM I buy. I speculate on the stock market, and treat PM more like a savings account.

So . . . how low do you think silver is going? My purchases are relatively small, so fluctuating a dollar or two on the price is a minor influence. What does motivate continued small purchases over the months is the larger picture of the $33 trillion (or worse) debt that is going to eventually catch up with the rest of the real world. This is not sustainable, and at that point, fiat currency will be an illusion at best.

I timed it to the exact week it bottomed out in 2020.
Missed a little over a year ago when it was about $18 spot.
I see premiums way down. I think dealers know or feel it will continue lower.

One factor not mentioned, is available cash for buying. If spot goes to $20, a lot of people might beg borrow and steal all the cash they can to buy metal, then they are broke for a few months, so sales from bullion dealers start lagging.

This is a “flip” point of view (short term). I agree, right now is probably not the best time to stock up on precious metals if you want to cash out in a couple years to get a decent return but stocks are the best option if you want to do that. Silver and Gold will not make you rich in a couple years or even 40 years. It’s a protection when or if the banks ever decide to confiscate “your” cash from “your” checking account. I buy silver if I have extra cash that I would drop into a savings if I don’t want to invest in stocks; it goes to silver. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of the term “invest” when it comes to silver. It’s not an investment; it’s a security thing. You don’t buy a firearm cause you want to use it, you buy a firearm in case you have to use it.

I typically buy around 10-20 ounces of silver every pay period. My main focus is 90% silver, but I do buy 1 and 2 ounce rounds with designs that I think will bring cool factor premiums in the future. My new pick is the Egyptian series Wadjet 2 ounce round and the one ounce "Dead men tell no tales" pirate round.

When the price hit $50, dealers paid spot no matter what it was. I avoid "cool" (mostly) for that reason and still with the least expensive silver rounds/coins.

My high dollar silver gets sold on eBay. I have never sold back to a dealer. In 2011 and 2012 I sold nearly all my silver to Craigslist buyers. I sold about 1400 ounces in those 2 years...ranging from $34.50-$45 per ounce. @@jaybarr3307

I got to my weight goal thanks to the low spot price. I'm just going to get five more ounces of silver Maples to complete that tube and I'm done with silver for now. Next my goal is to start getting some fractional gold.

Everyone I know likes to buy whatever they want while it's on sale. Silver should be no different. You buy groceries, gas, houses with mortgages ect ect AND SILVER while the price is down. I'd start by buying lightly and the more the price falls the bigger my buys would be. I don't care about the action. I care about the price I'm paying to get the most possible ounces in exchange for my hard earned FRN's. That's one of my pet peeves about rookie stackers - they only buy while the price is going up (the worst time to be buying) and they'll sell at the first sign the price is going down like a bunch of chickens heading for the cliff. The time to buy silver is when its hated at the max, nobody wants it and there's blood in the streets as they say when everyone is else is running away from it. Which is a mistake piled on more mistakes setting you up to lose money on silver yet again. NOW is the time to buy some silver. Not later when its rocketing up in price. Buying low and selling high is more than just words. You gotta do it!!!! And if you can't pull the trigger here and aren't buying while the price is dipping you may as well go buy some Microshaft stock and leave the PM's to those of us who are comfortable with, know them and look to profit from them when the times right. Good luck...
P.S. I like silver so much I have mostly physical junk silver
and I own a healthy amount of digital silver & gold through this: LODE.One check them out!!

Gold and silver are rapidly moving out of the West. Aren't we lucky we are able to buy it at these low prices? There are many reasons for this. The chief among them is that the US is in a massive debt crisis and has to regularly pay the interest on old debt to avoid a default. For this, it has to issue fresh debt. Now, despite the higher interest rates, China and Japan are not buying it. So, who is left? It is the large American banks. If you do some Googling, you will see that most of these gold and silver sales are happening through them. Why? That's because they have to bail the government out if no one else will.
There's a price drop in gold and silver because, as you all know, when supply is more than demand, prices always fall. In short, the US is having to sell gold and silver in a panic at whatever price they can get so that they do not default on their debt repayment obligations. The effect is that not only is China stacking gold and silver like there is no tomorrow, it is also stacking them at the lowest possible prices. People may be tempted blame China for this situation in the US, but they really can't because the main reason is that the US government has lost the plot; it has troops in 100 countries and is currently financing several wars despite the fact that it cannot really afford them. It's raising the debt ceiling just to repay old debt and fund more wars, which is not sustainable. What's the solution? American citizens must come forward and sack their government because of its incompetence and mismanagement.

we bought silver when it was $29.75 per ounce, I'm buying at this bargain, I'm poor so I buy as low as it will go, I have lost selling back to my lcs,
but that is because I needed food, clothes, gas, etc, I can't eat silver anyway,it's only a way to save for a better future

If you need to sell metals for basic necessities, now is not the time for you to buy metals. Only do with "extra" money and that's after you've got 6 months expenses in cash saved. Unless you're saving metals for years, like five or more, stick to saving up some fiat. Really. My humble opinion.
