I came across your videos after being at the end of my rope and just wanted to give up.
I have a 1yo maltipoo with cotton candy hair. I comb, I detangle, I bought faux silk bedding,. .
nothing is working. After viewing some of you work I ran out to the pet shop to purchase the slicker bush. You showed how to hold the pet in each angle how to hold the bush, it capitvated
me honestly. So I get home from the shop and start off in the rear, feet, legs, tail, heiney, I was afraid that the brush points would hurt him but his reaction was lesser than me using the comb.
Problem solved here for me. I can move forward knowing that he will be able to be mat free moving forward. One last word, i noticed all the dogs in my hood were given puppy cuts. I now get
it. One has to be determined to be diligent with grooming. Your right about the grooming being a bonding time too. So im happy

With conditioner in the tub after shampooing. Gently brush, separate, and break down the mat after applying pet conditioner to the coat. Be careful not to irritate the skin when brushing a wet dog.
There a few who complain the cost of grooming a dog is too expensive. If they would take the time to watch your videos they would understand the steps that are needed to do it properly.

Thank you for your videos. We are getting a Border Terrier. Do you have recommendations for grooming breeds with undercoats and wire top coats. We understand we will be hand stripping the top coat how do we address the undercoat?
Get a mars coat king. That will take care of most the grooming needs. 🙌

I am grooming a small dog with extremely fine hair, but I have hard time using the combs, they get plug every in the 5 or 6 strokes and have to take it out and clean it, it takes foreverrrrrr! Do you have any suggestions? Because I know if I use only the blade, it will be so short???. You are the best! and if I was a dog, I would have love you to be my groomer ❤🙏

My mom is worried about my Pomeranian getting cut too short so I have been using scissors but it doesn’t look even or clean is this technique still ok to use

I disagree and my training proves differently.
@@GoGroomer disagree all you want but it’s the truth. You are stripping the dog of all its natural oils and act like it’s fine because you make money doing so. Training? You wash dogs, you’re not a trainer.
