Looks like the lioness was chasing the eagle, and then the eagle suddenly stopped😂 very informative video. This is exactly what I needed. Thank you very much.
Extremely helpful! Did watch a couple of other tutorials before but none was as clear and straightforward while demonstrating a lot of advanced techniques. Thanks a lot, great job!
A truly great lesson on Meshmixer. I now understand some of what it can do and how to do some of them. Inspiring. Designing is so much better than printing. Printing is the proof of the pudding.
Thanks for watching. I love designing things. I think the passion for inventing and designing started with Lego as a child. 3D printing might be the new Lego for future generations.
AWESOME video sir! Thanks for sharing this. I have wanted to make 2 models into one for a LONG time now. I was FINALLY able to do it, after watching this video!
Man you just made my day, been trying to clean some stuff inside my model like the throat, tung and eye balls. This tutorial did the job, I've had Mesh mixer for a while but never really got to see the potential it had. Now i can 3D print my models without all that stuff inside it, and the size is smaller too. Thanks so much, Subbed!!
i dont mean to be so off topic but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost my login password. I would love any help you can offer me.
@Chaim Clark thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and im trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Wow, thanks for another very helpful video! Mesh mixer is very different from most of the Autodesk products I use, so these primers provide a great boost.
really helpful tutorial Michael. The tips and tricks explained in this video were super valuable and really helped me alot with a project im stuck with. Keep up the great work!
Teaching Tech: "And then we are going to go to this edit menu, and then we are going to click 'Make Solid'". Frustrated Tinkercad user: *eyes widen* "GAAAAAAASSSSSPPPPPPP!!!!! .....i hate you."
Instead of messing around with the bits inside the head, just seperate shells on the mesh, move it out of the way, then you can select and delete everything left over in one go
Hi great video! If I was making something with a super rough surface texture like ice glaciers/sculptures, what brush would you recommend the most? The pinching tool maybe? Here is a similar texture that I'm trying to make in meshmixer: @ ... Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
i have an stl file, i want to shrink it down so the complete ship is 477mm long and cut the stl in half vertically so i can print it in 2 halves, is there an easy way to do that?
i have a question i have picture of a completed 3d object , i have printed the pieces but i cant figure out how to put it together, only thing in the fle is they included a picture said you should be able to figure out how to put it togehter but so far i havent been able to yet, is there easier way of doing that by just looking at the picture or is there software that can take a pic and take it apart?
What if neither Boolean Union nor Combine work? I have a couple small objects I want to attach to a larger object. When I try Boolean Union the smaller objects get all distorted. When I try Combine the entire thing ends up looking like melted playdough. So, how do you merge something together without it destroying the entire thing?
Thanks for this, just about to download Meshmixer, but not sure if my laptop has sufficient muscle. May I ask what the configuration is of the computer you used during this video?
I am coming from a digital art background and I have been using Poser and Smith Micro products for quite a long time. This tutorial is huge help in getting a figure from Poser into Meshmixer. I am hitting a rough spot if I make the mesh solid. I lose pretty much all the fine detail of the figure. Can you make any recommendations?
Thanks for watching and I'm glad it has helped. Meshmixer can be quite inconsistent but if I've having troubles I will play with the sliders for that process even though it can take forever to re-process.
Hi i have a structure sensor scanner i can email the scanned image and it produces 3 file types jpg file a 3d object file and a mtl file i can open it in mex mixer but saves it mix file only and cant load it into creality slicer is there a way thanks David
Saerching HIgh and low how to get an objetc back to 123d design after sending it to mesh mixer it must be very obvious but I am missing it. i can export it to a file but thats a lot of trouble and messy
Michael, if I created a vase and then wanted to add a decorative pattern around the vase, could I merge them with this program? Is that the best option?
Hi Nick, What program did you design the vase in? I would suggest that CAD software like Onshape would be better for what you are mentioning. My custom jewellery series has examples of making patterns around an onject, specifically part 2.
Michael - I love all your videos but the repetitive background music on this was too distracting and I had to stop watching. :/ Keep making great content I love your channel.
Been watching videos on this app trying to figure it out. All I'm trying to do is remix your camera mount to fit the end of a 4040 extrusion. So far no real luck. Powerful, yes. User-friendly, not for me.
Hello meshmixers user, anybody with experience on case like this: I want to merge multiple stl and only print merged area. Right now i have a lot of jigs, that i want to commonize into 1 part only.
The flying ball sack should be a print. Hahaha, unsightly is an understatement. Great job mate on the tutorial, super helpful, much wow!

Just found and made use of a 6 year old tutorial. Thanks!

Thanks for watching. I love designing things. I think the passion for inventing and designing started with Lego as a child. 3D printing might be the new Lego for future generations.
Well Done! I had no idea that Meshmixer was so powerful.
AWESOME video sir! Thanks for sharing this.
I have wanted to make 2 models into one for a LONG time now. I was FINALLY able to do it, after watching this video!
Thank you so much for this one and all your content really ! From a 3d printing teacher point of view, all your channel is a gold mine !
This was the best video I’ve watched on Meshmixer!
I’ve been meaning to learn how to do this for a while now. Great tutorial. Thanks
This is like photobashing but in 3D!!! Sick!

@Chaim Clark It worked and I finally got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thanks so much you really help me out !
@Ruben Solomon No problem =)
Thanks, I was wondering what I could accomplish with Meshmixer but was hesitant to start, now I can't wait to get started on my project!
Thanks a lot. This helped me understand how to use Meshmixer better than other tutorials :)
Thanks Michael, very good tutorial 👍🏻
Thank you very much for the tutorial. This got me far enough in that I just mixed my very first print. Fingers crossed that it comes out right.
HEHE the life of a sculptor. Really impressed how much artist work you were able to do in Meshmixer. Well done! Frederick & Jennifer Mystic-Realm
Mate thanks so much for taking the time to make this tutorial!!! very helpful
Great guide! Simple to follow and a fun test object. You just got a new subscriber!
Very thorough. Thank you for the quality content
Wow, thanks for another very helpful video! Mesh mixer is very different from most of the Autodesk products I use, so these primers provide a great boost.
Nice video and thanks for the credit! I actually edited the eagle sculpture in Meshmixer. Great program.
Thanks for making a great model.
This is super kool I can now make the scary monsters from my nightmares and unleash them as models upon the world!!!
Thank you very much for the explanantion!
really helpful tutorial Michael. The tips and tricks explained in this video were super valuable and really helped me alot with a project im stuck with. Keep up the great work!
This is a fun intro to Mesh Mixer, thanks Michael :) and for what its worth I quite liked the background music :P
Amazing video... Everything I needed and more!
Thank you. I found this to be very helpful.
Have you ever wanted to merge things form thingiverse like.......
YES!

Thank you for this video, I learned so much.
Thanks so much for this, it's ever so helpful, great job :)
oh and super nice video again :)
Amazing
I was waiting the whole to see the thing printed!! Did you ever print one? Would PLA be best for that kind of thing or resin?

Great Tutorial.... Do you have a tutorial how to do the settings to print that in Metal ? ... 2mm thickness or ....
how do you rotate selected object? mine requires clicking the cube in upper right to 90 deg spins, not a manual mouse rotate? what am I doing wrong?
really helpful
Is there any reason one could not make this model animate-able? One could still add the "bones" right?
Good job and thank you!!!
I hit that subscribe button!

Could you do a TECHNICAL mesh mixer ie: different carriages, say an ender 5 + an old bulldog xl. Also, couldn't you steal the feathers off the wing??

Is it possible to wrap a model around another? Like a face on a log?
I really want to change a weapon on a miniature, i couldn't do it in 3d builder cuz it's so hard to rotate everything precisely
Hi is there a way to snap surfaces together so stl file allign perfectly?

Hi, is there a way to export two combined meshes as one object whilst keeping their original textures? Thanks

Great vid! For some reason the make solid tool is not cooperating for me.
hey how do you merge together 581 different parts
Saerching HIgh and low how to get an objetc back to 123d design after sending it to mesh mixer it must be very obvious but I am missing it. i can export it to a file but thats a lot of trouble and messy
What hoykey are you using to draw those lines?
Michael Love the vid but my file is save as .MIX! How do you save as a .STL Thx.

Old Curmudgeon I think tinkercad works better for things like that.
My meshmixer doesn't have any boolean tools, Any ideas?
TheMarksmansam boolean tools appear only when tou select 2 or more models
15:22 lol!
