Just found a 1968 D Silver Dime metal detecting. No full bands but very clean obverse. Sending it off to PCGS. It was black when it came out of the ground and of course I cleaned it thinking there's no way this thing is silver when I read the date. Oof!

I believe I have a 68 double die obverse. Everything is double including the punch and I think it may be a proof is that possible? I can't tell if it's repunched or over strikes perfect rotating but it's on the reverse too. Any ideas about classification if this were light. Can I send some pix to someone to help me out

I have a 196- D dime with the last number missing. The rest of the coin is in really good condition and completely legible with no dirt on it. The missing number, extremely faintly and almost non-existant, looks like it was supposed to be an 8 or a 0. Anybody have any idea how much it might be worth, if anything? Usually coins with no mint mark are printed in Philadelphia. People confuse this with a error. Sometimes it is however most of the time it is not.
