Thanks, Alex! The "broken" sound might be interesting for imparting an imperfect, closer to nature character to synth sounds for use in botanica productions.
In my opinion, it should be a synth around 90 dollars. Even though the concept is quite brillant, the overwhole possibilities of sound design are not so deep, once again the idea is in the GUI, not in the proper sounds which can be reproduced in lots of other synth, even on cheaper ones with some chosen fx. I think this synth is kind of an intent to "patchwork" their (interesting) lo-fi oriented filters through a basic osc. Nice idea, great GUI but it's a bit overpriced.
@@stannavi3557 if you know a little about sound design, you can, for example, get similar sounds with "W.A. Imperfect" synth you can turbo charge then with some basic fx.
Sum is pushing out the word. I have too many synths that can sound this way. I know Diva and I know Pigments and can do this. Also its expensive. I liked Sumu because it was actually unique sounding. This what the thousandith Analogue Synth released???
Completely agree. Loved the concept and I though it would be in the price range of the HY-poly but it is on the pricier side. For that money, I'd get Icarus3.
I have drifter one of their other synths and it’s great but this one is overpriced. I think they are pricing high so they can make their monthly offer sound better value and also testing. So if they sell or not the test kind of works because tests are about finding something out. Anyway as much as I like Yum Audio and would buy this for 50% of the price I won’t be buying this one for now. Which is a shame because I sure as heck want it!
I feel the same, its a definite "wait for the next black friday" kind of synth for me. But by then hopefully Pigments will have put these kind of FX in already :P
You have introduced me to so many incredible sound innovations many thanks.
Glad to hear that!
i like that GUI. its harder to pull off a good "simple" synth than people think, but this looks really good
I think the same
What a lovely UI!
It truly is
I really liked the interface, but whenever I need imperfect and lo-fi sounds, I always turn to my trusty Phoenc 2 by Psychic Modulation.
Haven't tried that one

@@BigMTBrain True! I gives a very organic feel

Which Synths can reproduce it?
Absolutely correct.

The degradation/fx section as a separate VST-fx would be killer!
Yum Audio make it happen!
I immediately thought the same.
Pretty awesome that they’ve baked all these degradation processors into the synth. I hope other developers take notice of this, it’s a great idea
Thanks :)
They can build very cool effects
shame the actual synth engine is so "meh"

The price is obscene
A bit expensive

It's a very common marketing tactic, like Arturia's synth prices making it seem the bundle is always the better option

Its way too expensive for what it is. Should have been a multi FX to stick at the end of the chain after a proper synth like Diva, Serum or Pigments.
