I am so proud of my sister Dr. Jeannette Epps. She has finally accomplished her dream of going into space! Well done!
need to be proud. Congrats to you and all family.
It's something to be extremely proud of as many of us dreamed of it (and still do) I'm proud of her and the crew as well!
Very cool!
👍
😮Door dash girl.
congrats SpaceX
congrats NASA
Nice to see the scientific community are still working together regardless of events in eastern Europe. Regional conflicts are holding us back as a species. We'll never reach the stars (or even Mars) unless we put such things behind us and all work together as one.
If the west stopped pouring money into Israel and into African countries then now we would already be amongst the stars.
These are the things people refuse to acknowledge. In the grand scheme of things, our little disagreements don’t matter, but what does matter is our ability to advance humanity beyond what is currently possible. One big thing being interplanetary travel and exploration.
Sooooo aggree !!!!!! ! 👍
Never. I SAY NEVER!!!
What a marvellous achievement, and heart-warming meeting between those on the Space Station and the crew of Dragon
Thanks AP! I missed the live event, it was nice to catch up with all the excitement that happened many hours ago! Best wishes to all the crews on board the ISS, 11 happy faces, what a crowd!
Seeing a round of Space Twister, the Crews arrange themselves to find a place to put themselves for the Welcoming Ceremony, never gets old IMO!! 😁😁. Take Care!!
This never stops being incredible.
Absolutely amazing to watch ⌚️.... Ireland dublin
Finally a stream with comments turned on.
NASA & space related videos are the only time I'd really like to hear what everyone out there has to say and NASA turns comments off on most of their videos which really takes away from the events.
I really wish they would consider opening them up!
I know why comments are turned off on so many videos, I mean look at all the troll comments. 😢
Joyful handshakes & hugs !! Congrats to NASA & SpaceX
CONGRATS! SPACEX AND NASA 💙🚀🔥❤️🔥💕🙏
Felicidades a NASA, Space X Dragon y a este grupo de valientes astronautas, abriendo camino para el resto de la humanidad ...
Well done ! Space X's Crew 8 Astronaut !
Excellent - no drilling holes ok
Nauka. lol.
congratulations crew 8
Awesome job SpaceX !
Amazing, Well done all involved.
I always love to watch the welcoming ceremonies. It’s so unique to see the camaraderie between the international crews!
The EXIT sign cracks me up . . . .
In space the world is at peace, why not on earth? 🌎
If I may.
"In space the Earth is at peace, why not the world?"
Great going everyone fantastic docking and I hope you all have a fantastic flight 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
absolutely amazing! How lucky they are i wish i could go for a few weeks
Thanks MechJeb
I remember Neil Armstrong stepping out onto the lunar surface... Still a huge space fan after many decades and still feeling such a thrill to watch every launch, every splash down and every arrival at ISS ❤❤❤
But none of it is real and you can’t prove it is.
Notice how those clouds don’t change shape, they just slowly move below.
Stop believing things you can’t prove with your own scientific method
The feeling that can never be explained
Well done to sis and everyone!
Space diplomacy is essential! Well done Crew 8!
Amazing time for humankind ….instead of fighting let’s keep flying ,,,,peace for the world 🌎
As long as there’s greed on earth there won’t be peace obviously 😢
Thank You !
1:27 I love how emblematic this is for the difference between Space X and NASA
What a time to be alive! Sending love
I cant believe this piece of history only have 2.7K likes.
Gorgeous.
Big hugs all around!
Who’s filming this?🤔
Onboard camera's on Dragon and the ISS
Cool, hopefully the Starship megarocket launch is successful later this month/early April after the two failed attempts last year.
Go USA ! Great coverage !
if we could just get along like these folks do in space the world would be So different
Super job ,... 👍 well done
Yes
Congrats SpaceX and NASA. Honor NASA and All Congratulations.
This is why we fly!!!!
Nice job 👏 👍
Amazing
C'est toujours magique bravo equipage crew 8👍🚀🌠👏
Wheres the LIVE FEED? If apogee is the highest point, would perigee thus be the lowest point?🤨
Yes
Excelente y buena suerte
Did I miss the part where they disembark? Meet the team and shake hands?
At 52:23 Why does Dragon become completely see through?
Because this was made by liars
It looks like the feed from the camera was corrupted
@@thankthemosthighgod9135 lol challenges the achievements in space then proceeds to use GPS to navigate their way around, you people are hilarious
@@xenomorph3161 you are a bot believing in pseudoscience, you do even understand how gps works. Do what you are told sheep, go back to sleep
Thanks ❤❤💕💕❤
Awesome.
How amazing 🎉🎉🎉
Fantastic ❤❤❤
43:50 So the cabin is pressurised? How do they do that as the rocket zooms them up at incredible speed? Surely the pressure must change very rapidly as the altitude increases? We know how uncomfortable it is to be in a normal airliner - it must be horrible with such immense speed. (and the noise must be totally unbearable too of course - how do they protect their hearing?) Can anyone point out the equipment used to pressurise the cabin?
The suits look extremely fragile compared to traditional spacesuits. the helmets and visors in particular look like toys. I wonder how they get the gases they breath into the helmets from the single port on the body of the suit?
The Dragon and trunk looks more slender than it is. Bruce Fuller from Ellington ' ct.
Yg merekam video itu satelit ya?
Why aren't the recording from inside the ship looking out or have recorders on the outside of the ship from landing all the way going through our atmosphere and docking with the space station why isn't this all live recorded if that thing's going 17,000 mi an hour I'd like to see live video as we catch up to it and doc with it not a simulation actual video of it happening
Is space x doing a space rated suit for outside and are the suits there wearing ok if there is in the unlikely event a depressurisation on dragon
The suits they wear are rated for depressurisation event. That’s their main purpose as well as a fire
SpaceX is developing a suit that will enable a space walk later this year. This will involve the complete depress of the dragon for the spacewalk to be conducted
I love the space program ❤
And all that's going on👌🏽
But do they have to use a colour star overlay 🤪🤷🏽♂️
At 1:06:49🤪
Amazing what mankind can accomplish.
We could accomplish so much more if money and greed would not always be the factor. 😢
@@cdmcgillion that's so true. 🙏
Maybe a silly question but scientifically has any couple been the first to become a member of the 408 km high club?
As far as we know, not yet.
SpaceX leading the way
Thanks to NASA
Chop @2 mtrs 🎯🚀 👏
Look Boeing! They’re still doing it.
In looking at this video, and thinking about my own Zoom experience since the beginning of Covid, I wonder if the astronauts on ISS always wear pants.
No. Sometimes shorts, all depends on the preference of the person.
Hugs in space are great! I would like to see hugs on earth too! 🤗💓
The Difference between Nuclear Radiation Vs Cosmic Radiation . Right
This is how to get along
Who is everyone’s bias? Mine is Jeannette
How will the original 7 get back in the 4 seater dragon ?
Crew 7 will return in the Crew Dragon they launched in back in August. It's docked on the other side of the ISS IIRC. They’re due home next week sometime. There’s also a 3 person combined Russian American Crew who launched from Kazakhstan last year in a Soyuz capsule. It’s docked to one of the Russian modules. There’s also going to be a Crew handover w/a new combined Russian American Crew launching in a few weeks. Toss in the, hopefully happening, first flight of a manned 2 person Crew of Boeing’s Starliner in a few weeks &…It’s a busy time right now up there. 😁😁 Hope that answered your question. Take Care!!
@@denisecampbell6736 you sure did. Thank you. 😊
i love nasa
Класс!!Супер!!!
4 men back to home 😢😢😢
Have fun NASA’s SpaceX crew
It’s not a space x crew.
@@cdmcgillion Ok.
Hi jasmine ☺ 🎉❤❤❤
Well done. It almost looks real.
Yup, but earlier on, the bits are not floating, watch carefully ;)

where did they slip up? i didn't catch it
@@isaklovas they didn’t slip up because this is real
APPARENTLY
Do they have VR goggles up there so they can take brain vacations? Just made that up. But to completely absorb yourself back at earth for a few minutes might help the mental fatigue
👍💥

so lots of inteligenze and military personal send up, that leaves way for speculations...

Great Job thanks to the professional team!
Also that ship looks like,a giant penus ! That probably for, future mission to Uranus! 😊
I wish we could build cities in space and live there floating
Its so fast yet slow XD
Even the stars are different colours and other shines more than other, reminds of:
There is a glory and beauty of the sun, another glory of the moon, and yet another [distinctive] glory of the stars; and one star differs from another in glory and brilliance.

Btws how do they know its connected to iss lol
Its fun to see ppl become friends so easily at iss
They Should do a How Many Faces you could Spot in that Sucker !

They look like "space junk" to me. They are not active as aircraft, they just float in the clouds or are reconnaissance companions of someone curious.

If you replace the NASA commentator with a tape recorder nothing will change man. I mean come one she is like a robot just reading information out. Look at your right side and see now she is doing it. Anyway enough of my rant on her, as always come one space X. You guys are awesome
The commentator is great! Tremendous amount of info being provided…
Tape recorder?
@@JamesFolkers That was my whole point. Those tremendous amount of info can be given in recordings too. But unfortunately she lacks emotions and engagement. Just look the the lady from SpaceX and you can easily see the difference. Both are giving out information. But one is just like a robot and the other is someone you can feel. What I have said has nothing to do with her ability to give this information. If you are someone who follows the space world, you already know these information anyway. But how to deliver them is just a skill some have and some don't
That sure doesn't seem to be going 17,000 mph it looks like a simulation machine that pilots use
NASA bola predtým v utajení teraz má aj verejnú tv a je iniciatívna aj vo filmoch.ale ešte nikomu sa. Nepodarila stroj času.time traveling
Wonder if the new astronauts notice a "smell" when they enter the space station.
Yep. It’s called B.S

War innovation on earth helps with space mission adopting proven technology?
Russia and USA together...What a beautiful sight.
All get along.
