Russ.....I want to see that big Christmas Cactus, in the background behind the prize table, lit up!! You have to go back at night!!
Hey Russ , have you ever gone to the Superstition Mountains? By the way love your videos! Keep up the great shows!
The professional quality of your videos always amazes me! Thanks Russ!!👍
Great video Russ 👍🏼 filled with gold nuggets and potatoes 🤣thank you for sharing my friend - Ray
The old prospectors found gold nuggets the size of potatoes up on top of the mountains, from when the mountains pushed up a river bed when they were formed.
Nice video Russ, Stanton is owned by the Lost Dutchman Mining Association and you have to be a member to stay there, but I'm sure they would welcome visitors. On highway 89 just a short way south of Congress there is the Escapees North Ranch RV park where you can stay, and where my wife and I stayed many times. We are also members of the LDMA.
Looks like at whole lot of fun. Putting this on my retirement to do list
Russ great news, I will visit. Thanks as always! Larry Miller San Diego Ca. Retired
That looked like a good time Mr Russ. Great way to spend an afternoon with some good people.
My, that's beautiful Thanks for sharing.
I have been going to Stanton AZ since 1983
And a lifetime member since
Found lots of gold
Great place
If you're want to contact me for more information about Stanton and area please send me a email at nuggetbrain1@msn.com will be happy to help you
@@waynepeterson5337 ! You and I may have been going there about the same time. My mom was driving a Blue Dodge Van we called "The Blue Diamond". we would come up a few times and stay overnight a few nights and attend the Meetings. We were there more than a few times. We even went out to California to one of the other LDMA towns for a bigger regional meeting. But I don't remember where that was or what it was for. I had to be around 12 or 13 back then..
Love going back in time, thanks 😊 Russ !!
Thank you that was fun 🤠😊
Great place! Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing. Be safe!
Thank You RVerTV for stoppin by. Come back and stay for a day or two or a month.
Live not too far from there (New River/ Desert Hills) and that Stanton camp looks like so much fun and i really need to get out there.
I got the Gold Bug 2 that's collecting dust in the closet
Great Vid that was :)
You can watch the stars at night as you do your business in the outhouse 😆
Fun! Thanks for sharing! :)
Super coooooooollllll!!!!
Excellent video Russ!
Love it! Not your standard issue RV park!
I want to visit, Stanton, sometime, I am an LDMA member and just had Blake on my Livestream tonight. We just ended the livestream a few minutes ago. Nice tour of the place, thank you!
Oh my gosh Russ I so much enjoy this!
(PS: for those of us that need to know it's about 3,400 ft above sea level...😁)
Thanks for the road trips. I enjoy them. I love your road trips. My kinda trips
This is very cool. The history behind this place is one of a kind. Thanks for taking us along.
Great Trip Russ ! TAKE CARE..
We have been planning to check this place out this winter so really great to see this video.
Oh my Russ, I could be in a happy place prospecting. I have always wanted to dig for gold. Thank you for sharing.
Russ, you rock!!
Nice video. LD looks like a nice campground. Like minds there too, a plus. Enjoy! Be safe. 😊👍
Looks like a very interesting place to put on my schedule to visit.
Prospectors have come a long way since 1800's. That looks like fun! I was surprise & am very proud to see a few women have taken up prospecting. Stanton sort of does talk in a way via of the storyboard, & the building still standing where the Illigitamate Son died. Very nice campgrounds.
Love AZ and it’s history.
Love it Russ, thank you!
....... definitely added to my bucket list. thanks Russ.
Love your videos, the narration and the detail and the variety of areas you visit.
thank you
amazing place!
Hey Russ!!! Great setup and great weather!!!
Well THANKS Russ!! Boy this brings back the memories. I don't think I've been to Stanton since the late 70's or early 80's when my mom and I became Life Long Members of the LDMA. And Buzzard! I think I vaguely remember Buzzard back in the day. But I was only about 12, or 14 at the time... I just remeber going down to the creek and doing some gold panning down there. I wonder if the creek still has water running down in it..
I'm not sure if I could dig up any official paperwork for the memberships, but I'm sure I could produce some old pictures of my Mom and I up there back in the day.. But boy! things have changed! I don't think that the hotel had a brick foundation back then. I think it was just wood. And definitely not near as many RV sites Definitely not powered RV sites. But now I'm wondering if they would welcome and old member back for a few days of nostalgia..
Dang, you're right in my back yard!
Thanks for sharing Russ!😊
beback later!!!
Nice find. I'm sure to visit one day soon
Cool!
THANKS
the new background music was good
Nice episode today Russ. Really like to come down to AZ again and pan some.
Nice video
That is a nice place thank you
Wow, 9-10 sec mark is where my Transmission went out on the Rialta I had years ago...
I would love to find some gold nuggets ! Now I know where to go mining ! Thx, Russ !
That was ‘Kool’, looks like a fun place to stay.
I have found many gold nuggets in that area, wah hoo
Enjoyed your video, lots of history. Wonder what the ghost from late 1800's think when they see the fancy equipment they were using to hunt for gold.
I didn't see hardly any minivans, is this large RVs only? I love those old buildings!
Hey Russ. That was not the wood shed. That was log storage..👻
Very interesting video. You mentioned one time you had a detector. Have you ever looked for and/or found any gold?
looks like a very pleasant day and experience !
Just after 🌇 , on the 21 December a rare conjunction of planets will form a very bright star ! Some say it could be the same occurrence that is called the , Star of Bethlehem.
Hopefully it will be a clear sky somewhere !
Wonder what was on the menu at the hotel...beans crowding the plate. I think you'd find a baseball sized nugget! Flying Dutchman a close relative? (Honus Wagner). Have a good day.
Thanks for your videos i get to travel without moving ,sounds like the dune movie ,"traveling without moving"
I want to do that some day it looks like fun.
The joinery continues...🙏🙏
Hi Russ. Several bursts of loud sound dispersed through out the video can be heard. As you arrive in Stanton all the way to the end you can hear them. Great video otherwise. !! Almost moved to Q. The Kingman area I'm not sure about any longer.
Curious to know if you went up to Stanton passing the Granite Mountain Hotshots Memorial State Park. The hike is tough but rewarding. Congress and Stanton are really cool little towns.
👍👍😊
Hi Russ! Looks like a really unique place to visit.
Sure looks like a great place. Am I interpreting the website correctly, you need be a lifetime member to stay there overnight? Still...looks great. Thanks for the video.

That's not a wood shed! That's a wizard room. It's where you go to cast MIGHTY spells.
Those clouds 1:40 look like woven cloth!
I can't remember where it was but you took the dusty nugget to those gold fish a few months ago. With the lack of rain I am thinking their water source is drying up. Have you been back? Sorry as this is off topic, but I worry about those guys.
the Fish are fine that is a mountain spring that feeds the pond
@@rvertv good. Maybe you'll have to check in them in a few months.😉
😎👍👍
FYI: Listening to your video last night was a sound when the next image slides on. I bought a lap top and thinking it was my lap top making that noise. Log on at work and the video making the same noise. Not bothersome just letting you know. Of course you are the expert.
thanks
Hello Chihuahua México
.....The Potato Patch.....!!
According to their website camping is for members only. An LDMA Membership costs $3,300.00.
Thought it was only open to LDMA members?
Do they have 50amp hook up?
How much does it cost and do they take full-timers?
Do you need 4x4 to get there? Road Conditions?
Have you gotten any rain yet?
Is there an r v park there.?
Do I get a discount if I find the Dutchman Mine?
Would you please give a gps coordinate. It is not appearing on google maps. Thanks
Take Hwy89 North past Congress, AZ, turn right on Stanton Rd.
1 Has Been thank you 🙏
Went there late 80s with my late wife want fixed up then buildings were there looked about same
What is the cost to stay there?
lostdutchmans.com/
hey russ , did you see buzzards ghost there
Hello did you know you were parked right next to what they call white GOLD. Most people do not even know.🤔😁 Cjd wash state .p.s. Tom Massie founders son found an old tunnel under one of the old buildings .Now that's a true story .
wheres jake ?
wheres tom and perry massie ?
I recommend talking to some of the old time members before joining and if you have a problem on the ldma camp I can guarantee you 100% that it will not be taken care of by the office or anybody else the new guy that took over Brandon he's on the internet but he really doesn't really care that's what the old timers think that's what I think because when you call in a complaint and it's a serious matter it needs to be taken care of and they never take any problems plus you're like to get harassed by Karen or a homeless person on the camp so like I said I talked to the old numbers before joining
I wonder when this was filmed. No masks, no social distancing.
OMG
Probably recently since Russ's vids are almost always new...one of the reasons so many more are dying from it now...true ignorance...

People in the middle of nowhere tend to not believe in it.
If Dutchman is lost why aren't you searching for him?
Hey Russ, this is a bit off topic from this video but I noticed on one of your videos that you you’re going to get involved with harvest hosts. Just curious to see how that worked out and if you’re happy with it. I have a custom camper van also but when I tried to get a membership they said camper vans were not allowed I was just curious to hear if you had an issue with that getting your membership. Thanks
I dont watch the endless quartzite videos.
