R.I.P Charlie

I am so grateful for you all in keeping the Legend going in that area....
Mysteries of the Superstition Mountains and looking forward to watching more videos as they come out!
Charlie will be greatly missed here on earth; but I know he is watching over his family and friends; Charlie is our guardian angel watching over us all.
Thanks for keeping this series going and sharing!
We miss you Charlie you were a treasure of the superstition mountains
How about a video on the west side of Iron Mountain starting at Roger's Trough Trailhead, north to Reavis Grave?
Anyone in a hurry to get from Fort McDowell to Superior will go south, then east because that route is fairly level.
Going through the Superstitions, especially by Iron Mountain, adds distance, and a lot of extra climbing and descending.
That doesn't mean that there weren't Indian trails running through the mountains that Whites used, all I'm saying is nobody who just wants to get from Fort McDowell to Superior, would go through the mountains.
Gold is in the myth and mysteries, I do have a location in mind from my own research, on the bucket list.....
Why does this story always get better and better? Oh yea,....
great videos,,really like this history,,

You are correct, I will be addressing that in an upcoming story.
Very interesting stories about the Superstition Mountains. 🤔👍👌
Thank you
Jack, great information.
Did you know that Jacob Waltz sent a 40 pound barrel of gold ore to his sister in St. Louis, the barrel was marked " nails ".
I miss seein Charlie ✝️. I have no reason to doubt Mr. San Felice’s statements; so much truth regarding “death bed “confessions👍‼️
One big problem with that story. None of the known ore from the eastern Superstitions matches the chemical composition of the matchbox ore. When San Felice originally told this tale the technology didn't exist yet to test the ore as thoroughly as the Univ of NV, Reno did for Dr. Glover. There's a lot of great tales out there, that's what sells books. In my book if the ore analysis doesn't match the matchbox ore, it ain't the lost dutchman.
Dogs chasing their tales of tales of tales = GREAT STORIES Like Confederate Stolen Union Gold buried in a Cemetery in Decatur, Al.

There's a story of a train car full of confederate gold that was lost from a barge in a storm on lake Michigan 🤔
It’s a good yarn. If there was ever a mine it’s gone. Mined out long ago. Legends have their own life. Just don’t go up there and let the mountains kill ya
@@Idahoguy10157 A few have found it since Waltz died, but none lived long enough after finding it to mine it. It's still out there, but may have been covered by a landslide. I wouldn't worry about the mountains killing you, I'd be worried about the gun toting headcases back there.
All the paperwork and all the stories and to sum it up nobody today knows any more than the next expert.
Boute time for a hike with all this rain .
San Felice rules!
The tales of the superstitions are amusing. I used to hunt for gold. I don't have to hunt any longer. I do wonder, if you are looking for gold, maybe look somewhere it is likely to be found, which is NOT the superstitions. There is a lot of unfound gold. It is wise to go places where geologically, it is likely to be found.
Herman looks like he didn't give an F about sun screen if it existed and oh man it's the monsoon of legend right now in A.J. and I could listen to this channel all day!
I believe he's got the truth.
So the Dutchman💨 mine was found and cleaned out.
Id say jack knows were the mine is, or used to be...didnt the dutchman say it was were a person wouldnt think it would be, jack also says you wouldnt beleive him if he told you..??? Jacks done lots and lots of investigating and research along with looking himself....very very intriguing....awesome vids
Very interesting inference I think there was no mine just a large cash of gold that he found. I have heard of some stories going way back to the 1600s of gold all through the mountains possibly hiding it. :-) I’m just saying
How about more on the group in the 90s that apparently left with Dutch like ore?
Didn’t see that one. The only one I have seen Ron has a piece that he bought and it is the same ore
@@paulatudor691 Ron has spoken about that group
Ron is the most knowledgeable about that ore and that mine
I hope to hear more from him
I don't believe anyone found it. I believe people have been close, but it's probably on a different mountain. The path up to the point everyone thinks is the mine, doesn't exactly fit with the path on the heart stone. The site is close though. People went for the obvious location, really. It's even where I have marked on Google Earth. However, there's several mountains where you could see weavers needle. Everyone who's searched for it has looked in the same spot, and that makes no sense since only one group claims to have found it. If it was there, everyone who looked would have found it there.
I believe it has and no one is talking about it i know if i found that mine i would not tell anyone about it
Interesting story about the caves going for thousands of Miles networking all across western California in America hidden key is going hundreds of feet with advanced cutting techniques. That got my attention let’s look for some big ass caves systems
I think those are the Peralta's at (The 13 minute mark) that had a mine in the Ft. Mcdowell mountains...... They invited The Dutchman to work with them at the Salt River mine and he killed them and prospected the mine himself ...... The Dutchman was known to have killed between 8-10 people himself (maybe more) and stole their gold and mines.
I'll never believe Jacob Waltz killed any person. I believe the Apaches protected these mountains at all cost. In those days the Apaches ruled the mountains. The Apache Geronimo who was never a Apache chief was very busy in and around the Superstition mountains while he was alive. I think Geronimo hated the Mexicans and would remove them every time he had the chance.
@@imgone54321"Geronimo hated Mexicans"
That is funny.
I have also heard stories about JW killing people, but no proof exists. I think the LDM story is fake.
So JW Ranch found the mine. Or did the vegetable man? Somebody found it and sealed it up has always been my thought.
Im for it never existed. That's what aukums razor suggests
@@patricklawton8135 the ore that was said to come from the lost dutchman was tested by UNR along with ore samples from all the known gold mines in the vicinity and the dutchman's ore was unique and didn't match any of them. So if the mine never existed, where did the dutchman's ore come from?
@@LuckyBaldwin777 what's more likely he had ore from a different area. Or there is a mythical mine that has been searched for a rediculous amount and has never been found🤷🏻♂️
He was suggested to have been a thief as well so it's not unlikely he made it up to profit from others by offering to take them there and never turning up.
Could be, but the simple answer is usually the correct one...not always though it's a fun thought
@@patricklawton8135 didn't you understand what I said? ALL THE OTHER ORES FROM DIFFERENT AREAS WERE TESTED AND WERE FOUND TO BE DIFFERENT FROM THE DUTCHMAN"S ORE. It was not from ANY KNOWN mine. It was not high-graded from the Vulture mine. Vulture ore is different. He NEVER offered to take anyone to the mine for profit or otherwise. The earliest versions of the story say he was never known to go out in the mountains.
So go ahead and discard the truth since it contradicts your theory. There's a lot of that going around now..
@@LuckyBaldwin777 that's amazing they were able to test all the ores from every mine ever. Your operating on hear say as fact on everything else. . Only one the internet would someone try to start an argument over the lost dutchmsns mine. Good Lord grow up young man.😂
introduction music EXTREMELY loud lol
That part where he says “you can see Weaver’s needle from my mine” is not correct. It says “in the other direction, you will see a high needle.” He never says you can see Weavers needle from his mine specifically.
🔺I'd be curious to see a Timeline of the major producing mines, from Jacob's era to now, and then their lications on a map, then the clues considered most relevant and truthful.
Found or not, there's another Quartz ladden with Gold Find to be had.
Go get em good guys! -

I gave up after the second interruption, REALLY drop a advertisement right in the middle of a word? Instead of wanting to buy something from the company who's add did the interruption, it pissed me off to where I would NEVER buy anything from them.
That is UA-cam not us, that does that sorry
What am I missing here? The LDM has been found many times over according to the published books & youtube documentaries! Just saying.
Ron fildnan said gold is in the east side
Going up into the Superstitions looking for the Lost Dutchman’s mine you’re luck to only to lose your grubstake.
When I was young I went to that old drug store downtown Mesa on main back n 1970s
A person I knew, who lied Constantly, always said, " Tell people the Truth and they will NOT believe you." 😆😆😆
Dead men don’t lie.
You mean no one think Jacob could have found the mammoth mine and veins of that area hahahaha
They had old paraphernalia on display example = old hemp n heroine containers = sacks display from old days drug store it was
And, you waisted your whole life looking for gold that never existed???
This is bs
This guy talks a lot about nothing.
