I hope i get a reply on this. How do you reset this alarm. In a situation where the remote were no longer available, and need to unlock using key, then the alarm goes off. What should i do ? I have a valet switch, but that for the stock (old) alarm
Thanks for posting this. I was thinking about getting this alarm, but now that I know it has the ridiculous "toy car" siren, I'll give it a miss. I'd prefer to have neighbours help catch the thief, not piss themselves laughing.
It doesn't have a toy car siren. The siren is actually quit loud you could hear it pretty far. I think you should get it it's awesome it has remote start. Get a viper security system
Jayden Thompson I don't have an issue with the volume, but rather the cycling through assorted useless different tones. There was a high profile car alarm company in this country selling alarms with the same type of siren back in the '90s and they pretty quickly changed over to a more discernible single warble when people started complaining that everyone was ignoring their alarm.
its cool i have one but not put in as yet as i have a home made one i did myself u cannot touch the car either way its better then what on the market in 2018 or 2019 i should try sell it as i know i make lots money but its not just money its shelp the people to save there cars get stolen and been rip off by alarm companies called no one touch means it has motion alarm with a word saying dont touch me car if the alarm go off then yell out help someone stealing my car and also has 4 wheel lock down from moving so took me a year to sort this out
I Bought the 5000m car alarm and my installer says I need a door lock interface. does anyone know which one or where to get one. the person who sold it me was no help. appreciate any help
doesnt need this why because the spy5000 is the new version today viper was sold off to viper someone not telling u the true story go to someone else because many them dont want to install u alarm they want u to buy there alarm and pay the $$$
