Hi. As it works on FM, the signal is present wherever the distance as you go up. Even higher then the clouds it would be able to work. Maybe vertical distance is not the real issue. The problem is always going away in a horizontal way. As soon as you get the first obstacles, the signal could be lost.
I have the exact same alarm, thanks for the video. However, this is about 420 yards (about 400 meters) in a straight line from you in the cabin of the crane to the bike. This line has virtually no obstructions at all. So, getting a 2-way signal for 400 m while the company claims 5000 m is a far cry ( a factor of more than 10 difference).
Frank Stocker a simple jammer in my country can block signals travelling on gsm mobile phone ....so alarm or anything with sim card can be jammed easily with a jammer....dont even need to find alarm or tracker just sit in car with jammer to block signals
if you guys real want a super long distance transmitter you could add a signal extender to it of course this would consume more power so you could add a solar panel as well you could also add tilt sensors yourself be creative.
I don't think you can turn the 3 chirps off. However if you turn your bike off, & you get the 3 chirps & it constantly keeps chirping make sure your turn signal is off. If I leave my turn signal on & turn my bike off it constantly keeps making the 3 chirps. Hope this helps
I came here for an alarm review, I left with vertigo.
Bobby Moore Haaa haaa
well ive been looking at this for a while and you have just sold me on it cheers m8

This is a short Crane for me it's 290' my tallest so far is 560'. That was in Charlotte N.C.

got damn son! you are hella high up! lol
It claims a range of 5000 meters, which is about 3 miles. You have an impressively tall crane, but are nowhere near that distance from the bike.
@ Darnell not at all man it's just a pay check
Getting an 06 10 this weekend. Does the alarm mess with your battery?
Does this thing drains too much of battery?
and how did you manage get up there? climb the ladder?
Amigo não tô entendendo nada do que você está falando tá falando um jeito que eu não estou entendendo
i just instald a spy 5000m system on my bike but is there a way to trun of the 3 chrip warning if you turn of your bike?
