      IKR! It's like I've said most of the things he did... I think that's why so many people idolize him, because people are not so different from each other but they are not being genuine enough but Kurt is. He is honest and genuine and he makes you feel like you are not the only one suffering and not knowing how to deal with some problems

    Such an intelligent person underneath his dark side, he needed to let that beautiful part of him shine instead of letting that dark part of him blanket over him and suffer to the nth degree because of it. In his defense fame will either make you or break you and so very very tragically it broke him. He will always be missed. RIP Kurt Cobain thanks for all your music and inspiration.

    As a youtube member mentioned below, I do think Kurt Cobain displays aspie traits with a little bi-polar. I should know because I have AS and can relate to every word Kurt says, especially, "I find myself falling asleep at times when I'm fed up with people or bored. If I don't want to socialize and I am stuck in a social situation, like back stage or being on tour in general, I just sleep all day. I would prefer being in a coma and just be woken up, then be wheeled out onto the stage and play and then go back into my own little world."

    Kurt was a good guy. highly intelligent and sensitive. he didn't have the ability to recognize that he needed help though, which is common with people who have any type of addiction or mental health problem. the pressure of fame made him worse. he didn't know how to cope with it. I think he felt so alone and misunderstood. fame didn't really make him happy and having a family obviously didn't make him feel any better. I know a lot of people say he should have stuck around for his daughter, he should have tried to work things out with his wife or he should have tried to get help, but when you are in a dark place mentally and emotionally, its hard to see the upside to anything. and when people are suffering, they just want the pain to stop. given all the problems he had in his life, it's not a surprise really that his life ended the way it did

    He was used to promote depression in the 90s. Thats one of the reasons there are so many cases of ADHD now. And so many kids taking prescription drugs now. In the 90s we never even heard of such things. If you were hyper active, you'd get smacked and thrown into a corner. Now it's "take 2 of these and call me in the morning." He knew he was being used. Same with most 90s artists. That's why they're all dead. Think about it. Who out of the 90s that was MAJOR is still alive? Kurt, 2pac, Biggie, Lane Staley, etc. the list goes on and on. Because once they wake up from their youth, they're no good to major corporations anymore that need to sell you drugs. It sounds crazy, but check out prescription drug sales from then till now and tell me you don't see the difference.

      I believe that my friends decision to kill herself was a sudden thing. Her husband found milk,,banana's and eggs laid out on the counter when he walked in the kitchen that evening. Like she was planning to bake something but changed her mind. We were next door neighbors and I spoke to her the day before she died and she was excited about going to Texas for the holidays to visit with her kids and grandkids. There was nothing in her demeanor that even suggested that she was depressed at all or at the end of her rope. The next day her husband came home from work and found her dead from a massive overdose. She gathered up every medication in the house and took it all. She put all the empty pill bottles in a small trashcan in their bedroom. I found out later on that she did have issues with depression off and on but the family never saw this coming. This happened in early Dec of 2002.

    I feel like Kurt had Asperger's or another autism spectrum disorder along with depression/bipolar. He often seemed nervous or uncomfortable in interviews despite being loaded on heroin (which is the most zen-like drug on earth lol). He was so sensitive it's like he was feeling everyone else's emotions, which autistic people experience sometimes. Myself included. I was 10 when he died but the death hit me hard.

    These videos are so amazing, thanks for uploading. About his death i think the reason was obvious. Kurt always talked about people over-analysing his lyrics and i think its the same with his death, people are over analysing it when the answer is right there, i think he did commit suicide and he done it to escape which is why most people commit suicide. I think in the end it was too much pressure and he thought that was the only way - but who knows i guess.

    • @pervysage4531
      @pervysage4531 2 роки тому

      I've thought the same before. But with the fiery approach he had in spreading good energy, anti- rape, anti evil basically, you really think he would just give up ? I don't. He was extremely smart, had already considered suicide because of his stomach problem and probably thought extensively about what it would be like if he did kill himself. I believe he understood how selfish it is to do so, and stuck it out through the pain because of what he believed in. Over time that got hard because of his shitty influences in life- Courtney- heroin use. But I still don't believe he would fully give up on what's important.

    • @lisasu7094
      @lisasu7094 2 роки тому

      @@pervysage4531 a lot of smart people commit suicide. when your depression and addiction and everything else you're battling gets too strong, it's easy to break. i think all this speculation about whether he committed suicide or was murdered is bullshit; kurt was, sadly, not doing well at all. he lost control over his drug abuse, which made his mental health even worse, then felt cornered and helpless faced with all of the pressure put on him by his family, friends, the band, and fame, and in the end, he didn't see a way out that wasn't suicide.

    I watched "About a Son" the other day. If you listen to Kurt's voice you can tell he was not an overly emotional person. Really, rather down to earth and level-headed. Reasonable. If you listen to Courtney Love interviewed you can hear the intense mood swings in her voice.
    Kurt was not drowning in self-hate. That is a myth Courtney has been putting in the media for 15 years. In '94 Kurt was happier than he had ever been. And there is plenty of evidence Kurt had cut back on drug use in '94.

      Because he didn't. There's alot of proof that Kurt killed himself on UA-cam but people choose to ignore because he was depressed amd suicidal. Type in 'Kurt Cobain murdered.' 'Justice for Kurt.' 'Courtney killed Kurt.' Courtney had a practice sheet to copy Kurt's handwriting her ex-lawyer found it in her backpack that she forgot at her place. Courtney wrote the last four lines of the"suicide note."

      tdogg65 peace fighter He says he finds himself falling asleep when talking to people because they just bore him so much or he just doesn't feel like socializing. He says he would prefer to sleep all day and stay in a coma. That is not a healthy state to be in. He seems to feel really alone and at the same time that he his pressured by everyone. Most of the time he doesn't want to deal with life, basically. Can't blame him.

      Suicide isn't always something premeditated. As someone who has experienced depression firsthand for a long time, suicide attempts are often an impulsive thing.

    I feel like I'm the only one who knows Nirvana and Kurt Cobain in today's generation and I'm 14. It's a tragedy that music is mostly about Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Kanye West, etc that no one even hears music from a legend like Kurt. I honestly think Kurt wasn't planning to commit suicide and was beginning to make changes in his life. He loved being a father and had plans to make music apart from Nirvana. I don't know if he was murdered or committed suicide, but that doesn't stop me from idolizing him. Next year, it's about to be 20 years since the world lost Kurt. Kurt, you'll always be the best fucking legend in my opinion. I miss you but we'll never forget you. +

    2.) After El Duce slipped up and name dropped "Allen" in that "Kurt and Courtney" documentary, El Duce was killed days later, he was hit by a train. I came across an old article where it shows Allen Wrench at the train tracks and it says he was the last person to see his friend Eldon Hoke aka "El Duce" alive.

    @ChadRB88: Kurt was about to divorce Courtney for adultery. She had signed a prenup and would have gotten little from a divorce. "Live through This" was about to come out and many feel the songs were actually written by Kurt though she likes to take full credit. She was jealous of his talent. A lot of motive there.
