Ole girl wanted the camera time!lol
Like your inner covers, I use canvas and wood chips as floats for sugar syrup, I use pheromone strips to hold the bees in the minis as well. Works well if you don’t move them 2 miles away. Enjoy
I like the pheromone strips too.
That bee near the end wanted some camera time 😂
They are such show offs :)
Learning so much watching you. This is like a master class. Thank you 😊
So nice of you
Nice, thanks for the info.
Glad to help
For you mimi mating nucs, I use the cheaper plastic chopping boards just cut to fit.
Can you describe what you mean? What do you use the plastic chopping boards for?
I have had the same experience with the fuzzy mic...
Thanks Michael.. Good to hear from you.
HI. I just discovered your videos and am enjoying them. Can’t help but notice your yard setup is such that as you’re working the bees in the back row your body is blocking the front door of that/those hive(s). Is that what the bees are trying to tell you by buzzing into your microphone?
If I understand your comment correctly .. That is a good observation, but due to the location of my hives to get the best sun, I can't really work them from behind. So I do the best I can. Bee's buzzing the mic is also a funtion of the big black fuzzy thing on my jacket that they are attracted to sting. I have recently changed to a gray fuzzy mic adapter (to reduce wind noise) and it seems to be better. Welcome to the channel and thanks for the support and comment.
Great video! By the way, what kind of camera u using? The video quality looks great!
This is recorded using a GoPro Hero 12 with a Rode Wireless II mic. Thanks for the support.
