How could 3 people give this 'thumbs down'??? Poco is the most underrated band in the world; should be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! We actually named our dog POCO!
There's an obscure English guy named Paul something who's also pretty good at singing and playing bass at the same time. I think he was in a band named after some kind of insect.
The Greatest Medley of Poco songs of the 70's. Unbelievable!!!!! It's perfect, how can that be? I know, it's Paul, Rusty, George and Rusty= Dyanamite explosion, kinda like in boot camp. These guys were the coolest in Country Rock before Country Rock was around. I miss you Rusty and Paul, RIP🪕🎸
man, I just can't get enough of this stuff. I saw them in 2013 and wish I had time to stick around after the show to meet Rusty in person. Since that show, I've become obsessed, wondering how these guys weren't as famous as the Eagles. I wish I knew how to get these guys inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Or a time machine so I could go see them in their heyday
Patrick Galbraith I saw them in Stuart, Florida and they still deliver! I flew all the way from Scotland to see them. Rusty Young is my songwriting hero. Colin Watt.
An American band too...for whatever that's worth. Jammin in St. Louis, my home town. Just some feel good music. Especially if you love Colorado like I do. Paul's the backbone IMO
seen them twice. first time at the Fillmore in Frisco in 70'. my first concert. they were great. then again two years later in San Diego. First time with Paul Cotton. they were foot-stompin' good.
you must listening this band poco à poco but without modération greetings from france à lonely cowboy without à horse but with à lots of Nice sound so long
they opened for yes in 73 Tampa Fl. the people wanted encores wouldn't stop clapping and cheering. after the dhow we heard yes was little bit ticked off
The band that the Eagles wanted to be, but didn't have the talent, so they became a harder rock band instead. Don't get me wrong I love the Eagles, but not as much as Poco, and I hate them for taking Timmy from Poco, and Joe from his solo career.
They got Randy first. Timmy replaced him in Poco when Randy left to join the Eagles, and then when Randy left the Eagles, Timmy left Poco to replace him again.
Can't fault TBS for grabbing some Eagles 💰, completely different league..not talent but commercial opportunities. I love(d) the band, but have to agree with what Messina once said about the band.."too country for rock- Too rock for country". Kudos and RIP to Rusty and Paul for sticking to their knitting and writing and performing fantastic songs for such a long period....two incredibly talented guys..

Great live album. And as for Timothy B. ..... how he can sing like that and play such great bass at the same time is beyond me.

Some of the best harmonies ever

my pleasure. glad you enjoy it as much as I do.
Thank you so much. I think this album is no longer available.
Great undervalued live album
Saw them in ‘69 in Houston on same bill with the byrds the dead. Airplane. Great show. Became Poco fan that day
saw them on the "DeLIVErin" tour while Messina was still with the band teaching his parts to Paul Cotton. They always deliver live.
Awesome band timeless ! And Rusty Rocks!!
Haven't heard this medley for decades; been missing it. Thanks so much for posting this!

The answer is Glenn Fry, the smartest guy in music industry.
@@peresfma agreed, but would add that Henley and Meisner had such unique voices. Add Glyn Johns and Bill Szymczyk (sp.?) = RRHOF.
@@erikrichards5072 Glenn is the smart guy that contacted these People, and was friend of j.browne, jd souther, jack tempchin, bob seger, etc...

Oh so good. I wish I had known about these guys sooner. All I ever know of them was their songs from Legend.
Saw them in Glasgow 1976 - seems such a long time ago . They were great !!!
Richard Marx had a hand in the Poco reunion album not long after this. Meisner was a part of that. Nice job!
I can remember my big brothers mate telling him about Poco. He brought a few LP's.
Thanks Brian. This was a pleasure to find this live session here. I have the LP but no player.
Boys are better when they are "fresh".
today is Timothy's BD..Hope he is having a fantastic day!
Bloody brilliant
Now THAT'S how you do it!
Thank you for posting this!...been looking for this for years!
this an awesome compilation

Was at this show at Ambassador theater. Shame they let this place get the wrecking ball.

the first time I heard this set was on kshe 95 I thought that I knocked of the dial boy was I glad I didn't been a fan ever since
POCO SHOULD BE IN THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME NO EAGLES WITHOUT THEM BEST BAND NOT IN THE HALL
