Interesting hand, I've found that live when recs tend to put the majority of their stack in but not shipping it when its more natural it tends to be nutted. However overall really cool analysis and love the use of GTO wizard.
Hey ginge, loving these hand reviews. Missed Doug when he stopped doing poker hands, but really like your analysis and it is nice to introduce solver solutions to in the hand review. Would love a licence :)
Don't think there is anything more or less i'd change, pretty much play itself. I'd be down for A License as it's a program i've been looking at since Brandon uses it alot and refers to it on his IG
i apply for toe role of guy number 4 love ur content and will leave to chiang mei for fulltime micros soon XD Ur always an inspiration . Cya ont the other side.
Nh Ginge. I've watched Tan play a lot and I think flat to trap more often in position that deep is good as he's going to get himself into bad spots by range betting flop and getting overly stubborn. Gl for the rest of your trip. Would love a GTO Wizard licence!
Would love a gto wizard subscription ginge please! Think the hand is mostly unlucky, however if when he 3bets the flop you think he only has AK+ maybe it makes sense to get away considering we chop at best, but don’t think it’s super viable as he may 3bet lots of combos. Defo not a fist pump spot regardless, but probably have to get stacked
GTO Wizard license thanks Ginge ! What did you think he has right after he snapcall ? I can just think about 1010 A10s and Ad5d, maybe im just a nit fish😄. But like you said he not gonna 4bet A10s 1010 so AKo shove here make alot of sense .
I think Five betting preflop would have been the right play. If you are coolered what can you do. This hand is a perfect example, I believe he would have folded Ace Nine suited. By the way I did play professionally at one point.
I couldn’t analyse hands too this extent. I never understand why so much effort is put into what you should fo what you shouldn’t do, what’s his range what’s my range. I just play poker and usually crush it but this in depth deconstruction of the game just leaves you wide open in my opinion.
25 years ago If Doyle Bruson was considered the go-to guy to ask about a hand. Would whatever he told you during this era always be considered the best play?
@@GingePoker thank u man , makes sense. for example if ur in the cutoff with 109 suited and UTG raises, would u ever mix in some calls or would always 3bet/fold so the button doesnt hop in as well or so the blinds dont squeeze?
Imo, your calm and rational thought process devoid of emotion is your biggest strength. Might be mistaken, but you seem a little bit results oriented in post hand analysis. I tend to agree with you, and think calling generates higher EV this deep. Live ranges will in general be wider and players will have tougher time folding made hands. Lets say he hits an A high board with possible combo draws on the board but doesn't have two pair; I doubt people have discipline to fold na ace to such a small raise as you made it. Nicely played, good luck and keep up with very good content. GTO wizard wouldn't hurt :))
I would be inclined to flat the flop myself because I do want to keep his bluffs in (maybe an occasional Broadway gutter?) and I think he won't ever 3-bet flop as a bluff.
Hi Ginge, i’d also love a Licence. Regarding the hand, i think it’s just a cooler on flop. He has AK, AQs, sometimes AJs,KQs, no sets, no natural 4bet pre 2 pr hands( maybe ATs because he’s slashy) anyway GG. I’m sure you’ve got a few vids in the pipeline where it turns around. 😊
Would love a licence! Nice video - credit for reviewing hands that you lose. There is at least one well known UA-camr (hi Charlie) who never does that.
I want a GTOW license Ginge! About the hand I would rather just call AK on the flop and keep his bluffs in since you're still IP and you can get stacks in by the river. Once he 3bets you on the flop I would remove the combo draw bluffs from his range as these would naturally just shove over your raise, not sure he has any bluffs raising like that to be honest.
Yo what up my dude hope the private games are treating you well you’ve been mostly killing it on the streams and I would definitely be interested in improving my game with GTO wizard stay safe out there
I would love a GTOW License! I dONT KNOW about this hand (head scratch) it seems like you mix an exploitative approach and theory. I dont know the player like you do!
I think in 4bet pots your play should be very player dependend. Since this guy seems to be 4betting quite a bit i like the call pre. On the flop in your mind i agree it's basically flopping the nuts so i get behind wanting to get it in. After he 3bets the flop it's very interesting, i have very rarely seen people taking this line as a bluff but since there are plenty of combo draws and pair + fd combos available as well as Tang can hold AK himself there is no getting away i'm afraid. Unlucky to see the A9ss then. Could really use the GTO Wizard, i hope the randomizer falls on my coment :)
I believe its well played, but i would view the snap 3bet on flop as a big tell of strength. not much you could do though to escape. set ups happen i am playing live poker for a year now for a living in Germany. i am trying to build a healthy bankroll. i would love the GTO Wizard to elevate my game
Think you def gotta jam preflop especially against that specific opponent other players not so much and that flop he can easily have all the sets so you should be able to fold to the snap 3 bet but sometimes you just wind up in a pickle and get screwed by the poker gods they tend to reward that donk aggression as seen here lol hopefully the next big one goes your way brother
What a shitty spot. No way you can escape from your hand when most of his range is the same hand, but also, you know he's never 3-betting the flop in a 4-bet pot as a bluff, so it just feels like you're getting free rolled by the AA and 2 pair in his range.
Instead of all the guys, trying to flatter you for a GTO-license, I think you overplayed your hand quite a bit - again btw. I think your opponent more or less, are playing his hand face up, when reraising on the flop.
The graphics are so bad lmao.when I was watching this stream I thought u 3bet tang and he leads4000 to a 5000pot on the flop, and I didn’t understand why u raise him to that polarizing donk size he can have Tt99 at a9.But if it’s a 4bet pot with 17000 in it ur play is definitely very reasonable haha.Thank you for sharing it
If I’m in tangs case, facing this raise I’m going to snap fold any kkqq and continue with some ax.but I think some guys just having hard time folding kkqq in this spot maybe
You've took some massive losses recently dude.. 200k? Some massive dogs bolls you have and cant be knocked for trying... Although bro following you at the lodge and then now this video... Leaving Phillipines has beem brutal for you and im sending love and light x
1st off your playing at the Bike. If you know anything about poker in CA this is where gamblers play poker. Let me repeat that for you, this is where GAMBLERS play poker. So your GTO means absolutely nothing. I have watched a few of your videos and I think you need to go back to UK or wherever you win because you are way out of your league. GTO is the how to book for tournament players not cash game players. Anyone playing large cash games gamble (the reason they play high limit poker). I would assume without your (fixed) online play your should go broke by day 45 playing like this. Good luck your going to need it.
I picked 3 guys! Thanks for commenting. Download it here if you would I still like to have it for a discount: gtowizard.com/p/ginge

How again does one find out if they are selected? Should I feel it deep down because I don't yet.

great vid mate
Always the best vids Ginge. I wouldn't turn down a gto wizard subscription
Thanks sir - gave away the licences already so next time 😘

I think I'd flat the flop and fold to the 3b since personally I don't think recs take that line as a bluff. Would love a GTO wizard license!
Nice vid as usual Ginge. Keen for the licence.
Thanks man 💪🏻
How much you are rekt in US? Like -300k?
Like 270k atm
Yikes.
What also makes it unfortunate is the fact that A9s often isnt supposed to be in the range

Thanks for the hand breakdown Ginge.
Can I get one of the licenses?
Yeee I'd love a license. Good luck at the tables bro!
Thanks 💪🏻
Great analysis Ginge, my view is you played it correctly given the prior action and your reads, then it's just a cooler when the flop comes.
I think Five betting preflop would have been the right play. If you are coolered what can you do. This hand is a perfect example, I believe he would have folded Ace Nine suited. By the way I did play professionally at one point.
I also think he would I fold A9s to a 5 bet - but I don't think we want him to?
I couldn’t analyse hands too this extent. I never understand why so much effort is put into what you should fo what you shouldn’t do, what’s his range what’s my range. I just play poker and usually crush it but this in depth deconstruction of the game just leaves you wide open in my opinion.
Usually crush is a very vague term
25 years ago If Doyle Bruson was considered the go-to guy to ask about a hand. Would whatever he told you during this era always be considered the best play?
Not sure - it's all just opinion vs opinion at the end of the day anyways
I think you played the hand really good.
Would love to have a license
I'd love a GTOW license :D
Why is flat calling from the high jack or the button always wrong off a raise??
Calling on the btn is fine - but from other positions we usually wanna be 3 bet or gold or we cap our range too much and players behind can abuse us
@@GingePoker thank u man , makes sense. for example if ur in the cutoff with 109 suited and UTG raises, would u ever mix in some calls or would always 3bet/fold so the button doesnt hop in as well or so the blinds dont squeeze?
