Hi Ginge, we are rooting for you and am sure you’ll turn it around and the run good is due! Serious question - on the JJ and TT hand can fully appreciate that as you have seen him bluff off in similar situation before it makes you assume he has more bluffs in his range. As you are all good players does the meta change as he knows you saw that and so he would tighten up there again? If you had no reads would you auto stack off there with QQ+ as lowest default?
TT very though because if he has bluffs I still want a lot of protection with this hand! I think this guy gonna have more bluffs than others at the table

Is it normal to be playing in games where you're effectively gambling the entire amount of money you brought? I feel like that would most definitely affect your mentality when playing which can be very harmful. 1. Folding that straight against the woman, frankly the fact that you sucked out on a major pot against her to me screams that all-in was her tilting. What hands is she representing there?? Not to mention you have a straight. 2. Shoving tens in that situation...not much else to say bluffs or no bluffs shown you have to know as a player with your talent that's not the way to go. You're only getting called by hands that beat you. There is a single hand (AK) that you beat there that MIGHT call you, and you were already ahead of that. But I'm not saying anything you don't know. 3. The Doug hand was a pure cooler, however why are you playing with your effective bankroll for the trip in a single game that contains one of the best poker players the US has ever seen? All it takes is one wrong hand against him (this pyscho 4 bet K2 suited (knowing you're a pro) to win that hand...this is not your standard player) and you can lose your bankroll easily, and unfortunately that's exactly what happened. Game selection and BR management there was way off. There are tons of Americans with money, at no point should you be playing Doug Polk for 100k. Wishing you the best man, I only say these things because I genuinely think you need to hear them.
I don't care how much success this man has, human psychology came into effect. Drinking rebooking ect, lost with tens. Played em bad. Wheels fell off.If Anyone says different they are kying
The standard of play is obviously a bit higher than the fish who just burn money in Macau which you are used to. Both hands are overplays in my opinion, hopefully it turns around for you, I enjoy your content good luck
Fyi, Spencer: the Lodge streams of the games Ginge played in, which were posted on June 17 and June 18 and are available. EZ was a maniac. I didn't go back through all the hands but below are a very small number of his ridiculous plays from the 2nd session (I only rewatched about half). And he played wilder the 1st session. 3-bet TJo and punted in a 4-bet pot 59:17. Raised flop with air 1:09:09. 3-bet 32o 1:45:25. 3-bet A7o 1:55:00. 3-bet A5 on TJJ flop 1:56:50. Triple barrels with J-high 2:14:00. 4-bet Q6o 2:21:49. (From 1st session) 3:33:01 4-bet 76o.
@@mattbarnes128 If you're not willing to adjust to your opponent, then maybe you're correct. I'd say it's more an overplay at 1-2 but that's beside the point. Either way, Ginge's opponent was a maniac (see my other comment and/or watch the streams if you doubt this) so Ginge's play was perfectly fine.
Surely the skill level here is better than in Macau, Doug Polk, JD, an Italian pro or maybe I am wrong, not having a go just making an observation as you know table selection is v important. Keep the head up Ginge, plenty more high stakes poker to be played. Some really tough spots today playing 5£/10£ in London, I can relate entirely yet we are on a completely different spectrum. @@GingePoker am I wrong in saying that online poker rng’s are set up to create action? So online poker and live poker are 2 completely different games and shouldn’t be played the same.
@@GingePoker so if you sit down at a table of live poker you will see just as many big hands as you would online? Like 2 pair or better? Seems to me online poker there way more action then in live poker.
The youtube montization from this video should be $100k anyway. Vlog equity. My only criticism is you are playing in tough games with sickos such as yourself, a 2bb/100 win rate isn't going to pay the bills. You need at least one donk at the table. Fine for content, fine for ego, but those flights and hotels add up.
@@GingePoker i don't love to watch your fails,i just want you to know that online poker is a different and can't compare to live poker. @@yipppip4308 I have to agree I heard a lot of talk about bad spots and variance but nothing about bad decisions. If you would have lost 200 bigs set over set with 10’s then I could understand you talking about variance but taking no accountability that you even played a 4 bet pot with 10’s and then lost 200 bigs might be the reason your going to have a hard time.
@@yipppip4308 online poker and live poker are 2 completely different animals. One is a program specifically created to make money for the site so it generates action and the other one is real poker.
that feeling in your stomach when you get felted. ugh. tbh, it seems as though you could have gotten away from the 10s. the AQ hand was tough because you had the nut blocker but even still, the board did pair out. He certainly could have held KK. I dunno. I think this could have easily been a $40K loss session at most. GL though.
@@GingePoker I understand the context of the player but obviously I am not there for the table dynamics. was he 4-betting light? It was only 13K from 5K. Personally I think he would have done more if he didn't have a pocket pair, like 17k with AK suited. his continuation on the flop also showed strength. with AQ, Doug doesn't have many bluffs there, imo. everything got there so it's either a naked bluff or he's close to nutted.
Good Video, You take the variance well, on the surface. Your a great player, but just remember to stick to discipline bank roll managment, and you will succeed.
This is a super tough game and not a great spot for anything but fame, I’d not play against those guys even if I was a millionaire, hope you recover soon, the 10s hand is just so nasty with the low flop
Agree but there was one guy in the line up I was happy playing with, so that means I should be winning even if by a small amount in the lineup. Given the stakes are big this is ok. Also then we have the EV of the exposure
@@GingePoker you make a good impression that’s for sure, fucking Polk is commenting on your channel now, if you were to pop off one session their will be sponsorships(the good ones not team online) But please get out of it gets too bad, it’s still gambling and luck short term and you are playing super high
First hand seemed overplayed. By check raising flop after V makes a larger c-bet, what are you hoping for? To fold out AK exclusively? If called you are rarely good, and most of the time purely dominated. Maybe he has 99, but I doubt 99 takes such an aggro line. The last hand, you block all Ax bluffs with the club. As played I guess it is a call, but AQ is nothing more than a bluff catcher. Ask yourself what hands would be spazzing so hard that would not have you beat? Ggs. I think your goal of a million in profit was far-fetched, but also a huge underestimation of the level of these games. If it is so easy to tour around for a few months and bag a milly, wouldn't you have already been doing it?

Normal when it's not your entire bank roll.

Folding out over cards in big pots is good
My actual bank rolls is bigger
Bruh what is this essay

Texas poker doesn't fuck around, the swings are massive
When do I get the upswing?
I don't care how much success this man has, human psychology came into effect. Drinking rebooking ect, lost with tens. Played em bad. Wheels fell off.If Anyone says different they are kying
I fucking hate kyiars
For me those nightmare days usually turned out in sun runs and winning tournaments ;) perhaps you'll have yours as well 😬
🤠
Three to the flush and straight out there and snap call with Q's.
Blockers ennit
I mean Polk is a better player objectively but yeah variance too
Blame variance feels better for my ego
Doug sporting the coinflex patch... that didn't age well. How long ago was this?

Should’ve called this the “how to lose a million in a month”
Yeah it would have been more accurate
what is the starting bankroll when he aims for $1m?
Infinite
I know the feeling. When you travel and on your on whatever goes wrong cannot be fixed without a huge pain.
Hiw u gonna call this challenge??
2 months 2 sessions ??
I'm gonna call it 'the patience of dev'
The standard of play is obviously a bit higher than the fish who just burn money in Macau which you are used to. Both hands are overplays in my opinion, hopefully it turns around for you, I enjoy your content good luck
Couldn't disagree more sir
Can't agree more the 1010 vs JJ is a massive over play at theses stakes. Sure at a 1-2 game it's fine.
BTW is The Don your boyfriend 😂 he gets very defence when someone says anything constructive, like I said good luck with luck on making the milly I hope you do it and like your content
Are you gonna play big Cash games In online also?
Sure if they are good
3:04 you lost 10.4k seems like a little more than just "basically break even". I get the game plays big but 10k is decent amount
Definitely feels break even after the next day
@@GingePoker very true haha
Dang brotha 😕! Rooting for a massive comeback. Who cares about the milly, let's just get a decent win under our belt!
And now you have to borrow money….that’s a gross spot to be in
Why do you think I need to throw money?
The road to perdition starts with gambling... luck doesn't last forever.
Hopefully bad luck doesn't last forever either
@@GingePoker If I were you, I would've invested those 130K into the stock market... it will pay off better in the long run. What a terrible waste of money. Maybe doug Polk Poker can get your money back (since he's your "friend"), laughing over cocktails and fake smiles while you are all sitting in the same table. 🤦♂️
@@GoldAceNews how do you think I got the 130k in the first place?
This comment section is filled with uneducated and unsolicited advice from key board warriors who would fail to beat 5c/10c online. Please keep your opinions to yourselves. Keep the head up Ginge, plenty more high stakes poker to be played. Some really tough spots today playing 5£/10£ in London, I can relate entirely yet we are on a completely different spectrum. Best of luck in the future ‘we’ll gettem’ next time.
Cheers bro - yeah lost losing sessions and this is what I get haha. Can't wait for them to tell me how I lucky I got in the winning sessions.
@@GingePoker am I wrong in saying that online poker rng’s are set up to create action? So online poker and live poker are 2 completely different games and shouldn’t be played the same.
@@marcuslarwa9098 yes you are totally wrong
@@GingePoker so if you sit down at a table of live poker you will see just as many big hands as you would online? Like 2 pair or better? Seems to me online poker there way more action then in live poker.

Completely insane check raise with TT in 4-bet pot. Massive noobness. It's obviously a check-call.

I think I'm winning in these line ups - 2bb win rates are fine when the bb is $400.

@@GingePoker i don't love to watch your fails,i just want you to know that online poker is a different and can't compare to live poker.
I assume you don't have much experience at high stakes, you should start with lower stakes and later join higher stakes when you gather experience.
I think you are just unlucky these last few times but i see you keep sticking to the online strategy, you have to switch your mind a little bit.
I wish you all the best and i will cheer for you every time at the tables.✌
@@yipppip4308 I have to agree I heard a lot of talk about bad spots and variance but nothing about bad decisions. If you would have lost 200 bigs set over set with 10’s then I could understand you talking about variance but taking no accountability that you even played a 4 bet pot with 10’s and then lost 200 bigs might be the reason your going to have a hard time.
@@marcuslarwa9098 right on the spot my friend👌
@@yipppip4308 online poker and live poker are 2 completely different animals. One is a program specifically created to make money for the site so it generates action and the other one is real poker.

Thanks Ronald - but they keep wanting to play with me??
that feeling in your stomach when you get felted. ugh.
tbh, it seems as though you could have gotten away from the 10s. the AQ hand was tough because you had the nut blocker but even still, the board did pair out. He certainly could have held KK. I dunno. I think this could have easily been a $40K loss session at most. GL though.
TT you need more context to this player. AQ is brutal I need to do a deeper dive
Good show tks
Like your fearlessness g luck
godspeed ginge
Atleast you got a subscriber after that session..

Good Video, You take the variance well, on the surface. Your a great player, but just remember to stick to discipline bank roll managment, and you will succeed.
Thanks mate
This is a super tough game and not a great spot for anything but fame, I’d not play against those guys even if I was a millionaire, hope you recover soon, the 10s hand is just so nasty with the low flop
How the other dude just snap called is beyond me, he’s usually flipping vs 2 overs and flush draw at best
Agree but there was one guy in the line up I was happy playing with, so that means I should be winning even if by a small amount in the lineup. Given the stakes are big this is ok. Also then we have the EV of the exposure
@@GingePoker you make a good impression that’s for sure, fucking Polk is commenting on your channel now, if you were to pop off one session their will be sponsorships(the good ones not team online)

@@kaycee8025 it's gonna be a long summer
@@GingePoker I lost £50 this morning session, serious stress 😄
I have infinite money so maybe not but I see your point
