I’ve been adapting this recipe for years: 100g of butter, browned 1/3 of a cup of brown sugar 1/3 of a cup of caster sugar 1tsp of vanilla extract 1 egg 1tsp of baking powder 1tsp of salt 1 cup of flour As many choc chips as u want who am I to judge Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius. And greasetwo baking trays. Add the browned butter to both sugars in a medium bowl and stir until combined. Add the egg and vanilla and stir for about 30 seconds. Add the flour salt and baking powder and stir until just combined before evenly mixing the chocolate chips in. On the trays distribute the dough (it’s a little more watery tho don’t add extra flour) into 12 even portions and bake for 6-8 minutes, they will be soft when they first come out of the oven and become easier to eat as they cook. (Btw for all the gluten free and celiac people it works with gluten free flour) edit: its like 10 months later and i figured out another recipe which is the same exept only brown half the butter then add the other half and stir to melt, then cream the butter and sugar together instead of just mixing, i also added an extra egg yolk. this makes a chewier cookie if you prefer that but i switch between then recipes depending on my mood.

I love cookie recipies because you can mess around with them until you get the one perfect for you! I personally really love thick, chewy, chocolatey cookies, so I chop up a baking block of milk chocolate, and then also add in dark chocolate for variety, and chill the dough before cooking at 180 degrees C for however long, until they just brown around the edges!
This is not about the recipe. It is about how much love you put in it. Just like mothers. They put so much love into it and that is what it makes it delicious. Always give your love and time. And that is what it will give you a great cookie 😊
My family has been using the one on the back of a Hershey’s chocolate chips bag AND THERE SO GOOD LIKE ITS INSANE
THAT LOOKS SO GOOD!!!
My sister spent 12years making a perfect recipe they are so good 😮
I love watching videos like this
I chop and use Tony's chocolate for everything. It is one of THE best chocolates in my opinion, definitely Godiva quality. And it's super ethical!
You could add butterscotch chips it adds to my cookies. Thank!

What if you were to try oats, my mum has the best recipe I'll put it below:

Any add in's
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180°c
2. Beat butter and sugars in a bowl, once fully combined, add in the egg and beat untill creamy
3. Add sifted flour bicarb and salt and mix thoroughly with a spoon/spatula
4. Add in your add in's eg chocolate, oats, etc and mix
5. Roll into small balls and place on a baking tray
6. Bake untill golden brown (about 10mins)
7. Let cool then enjoy

Look nothing beats my Nana’s cookies ❤
The tasty chocolate chip cookie is amazing just dub the melted butter for brown and add toffee
I also like it when my grandma adds a little bit of oatmeal. It adds a nice texture. But that might just be me
I actually want all of them now :D
I think you should add cinnamon and chocolate in the middle (I would eat it while it’s still warm though)
