I'm so soooo happy I downloaded your app a month ago. I needed to relearn how to feed myself properly and the nourish section is super useful. I've been using nourish every single day since I downloaded the PUL app and I feel so good in my body, so energized, and always excited to cook. Also, I'm no longer hungry all the time ahah. Thank you for everything you do! I really cannot thank you enough, your app changed my life❤ My boyfriend has been trying to perfect his cookie recipe for a while so I sent him this video. I can't wait to try this recipe!
Oh Morgan, this made my day- thank you so much for sharing! 🥰 I’m so happy to hear the Nourish section of the app has been so helpful and that you’re feeling energized and excited to cook! Literally the best compliment we could ever get!! 🥹 Sending my love, and I hope you both love the cookie recipe! 🍪❤️
Sadia if you ever think “nobody wants this recipe”, DON’T THINK THAT!! The way you explain things makes it so easy to follow and your recipes ALWAYS turn out great!
Are you inside my mind? I'm not going to lie, if I can be vulnerable for a sec, there were a few moments while editing this video (and even right before posting it!) where I thought, "Will people really be interested in a cookie recipe like this? Maybe it should’ve just been a blog post, not a full video..." It’s wild how doubt sneaks in sometimes. So thank you for sharing this- it's exactly what I needed to hear today. You’re so appreciated 🥹❤️
@@PickUpLimes Just to piggy back off this commenter... you and the team clearly spent a lot of time in the testing recipe stage for this video and I would honestly watch a full-length video on all that legwork you guys did and more explanation on the science of how the cookies change depending what you use!~ There is an audience for everything =) But especially your calming and well-explained recipes !
The most useful cooking video I’ve seen all decade!! Ok - questions! 1. How much should the brown butter cool down before you add it to the sugar mixture? 2. Which mylk works best? Soy is higher in protein than almond etc hence asking… 3. What’s the recommended time and temperature for fan oven? 4. What happens if I skip baking powder? I can’t wait to make these. Every time I made these they either fluff up like cakes or they’re too hard…. This video is just perfection 🎉
Oh my goodness these cookies are ELITE! I have been vegan for years and have tried multiple recipes, all have turned out pretty good, no complaints BUT THESE HAVE CHANGED THE GAME! They came out absolutely perfectly and I'm going to eat all 15 myself 😂 thank you! ❤️
I LOVE THIS STYLE OF COOKING VIDEOS isolating variables to understand their behaviours is soooo cooool and then comparing and contrasting the effects of different combinations to understand synergy.. aaaa SO COOL Sadia, please make more videos like this :D

Came here to say. I made these cookies and they WERE FIRE! You know how some recipes don’t turn out the way the creator’s turned out, well not this one. I used the scale, same butter and yall PERFECTION. This is now my go to recipe
Recently I had a STRONG craving for cookie but I am on a tight budget being a uni student, so I decided to bake cookies as I anyways wanted to for a long time. So why researching for a perfect recipe as i had never made cookies ever before, i came across your video. Unfortunately i didnt have any eggs and was left with only 2/3 stick of butter, so i adjusted quantity on your website and made 10 cookies. The whole time me and my girlfriend, we both sat infront of the oven to record a randomly decided time lapse video, it felt cute. Finally when my girlfriend and my roommate tasted the cookie they LOVED IT SO MUCH !! it made my day, i was smiling for whole night. Many many thanks to you ❤
I’ve made this twice. The only difference is I used way less sugar and no white sugar at all; only brown. This is the cookie I buy at bakeries. Now I can make it at home. Absolutely delicious.
Bookmarked, Liked, Saved. I've been looking forward to this video ever since your Insta stories. I have the utmost faith this is going to be the last chocolate chip cookie recipe I ever need. After all, it's Pick Up Limes.
Perfectly explained! I've been making vegan chocolate cookies for 4 years now and this is exactly how I do it! Great trick with the glass at the end, didn't know about it 🙂
The way you explain everything! I can only imagine how much trials and errors you had to go through for this, but this is such a valuable video and gave such a good inside into baking in general to me! Thank youu
best cookies i’ve ever made, the batter was dry but i just added a bit more milk n it was SOOOO YUMMM!! i also added 30g roasted chopped hazelnuts, 50g white choco chips n 50g milk choco chips 🤤 sooo good u wouldn’t believe they’re vegan
I was searching you everywhere unfortunately I forgot your channel name... I saw your videos in loop three years back, remembered you bcz of your green kitchen. Finally I got you again ❤❤❤ Subscribed now 🎉
Hello Sadia. Thank you for this recipe and all the great advice. It makes so much more sense with explanations. I tried your recipe last week: they are very, very good! 😋 But I've come to ask for some extra help. I've always had this problem: the cookies don't spread out during baking. So I end up with dome-shaped cookies. They're still delicious, but they're really thick. I put the oven on convection heat. I'm not sure about the brown sugar. Being French, I don't know exactly what sugar it refers to. So I used brown cane sugar. As for the rest, I followed the recipe to the letter. If anyone has an explanation or a solution, I'd love it! Thanks a lot! 🍪
With this recipe and the one for the fudgy brownie I sense a very chocolatey Christmas this year. Thank you so much for the recipes and for all the tips coming along with them!
Omg my boyfriend has been making this (without me knowing it's yours) on repeat by my request for a few weeks now (every time I get a sweet tooth😅) and today I felt like it's my turn to make some cookies for under the tree so I asked him for the recepie and this video!
A new video! 😍 I'm so grateful to you, Sadia, the health of my family has greatly improved through your videos. Big fan. You're Amazing. Sending love from an Indian ❤🇮🇳
This is not just another chocolate cookie recipe, it also has 'scientifically' proven results. Love your explanation on why you add 2 types of sugar & the refrigerated dough. Can't wait to try the recipe. Thank you lovely Sadia.😀

It’s also failproof, my digital scale broke halfway though baking, though I’m surprised the cookies still came out delicious 😋 If you have all the ingredients, make this now! Really easy, everyone loves the cookies!
I always love those funny and messy behind the scenes Sadia 😂❤, and i love chocolate cookies definetely gonna try this week as my birthday is coming🥂❤❤.
I like this format! I am excited to try this recipe. You explained all the tricks to adapt the recipe to our ingredients and teaching techniques not steps. I often struggled with baking recipes because my ingredients were a bit different than other regions.
Thank you for not adding coffee or cloves or something that someone could totally add if they wanted to but for sure changes the whole idea of it being just a simple chocolate chip cookie. I can't wait to make this.

Hey I made these yesterday for a friend's daughter , I had some of my own twist in this like using a pinch of cinnamon powder . It came out so well . Everyone loved it - just that the baking time at around 150degree Celcius is more than 15 mins for 1 batch (5 pieces ) . It was still soft and moist yet crispy . I think baking time and the amount of dough to make each cookie is kinda personal choice. But the receipe was fantastic and so clean and well constructed . Thank you @Pick Up Limes loved it !!

Love Miss Sadia. I probably could listen to anything she wants to talk about so I hope she absolutely does a video of whatever is on her mind. I’m pretty far from vegan but I’ve either made her vegan recipes or adapted her vegan recipes to include the proteins that I like because the recipes have such wonderful flavor profiles.
i just found an vedio of you 5 years ago, I've uploaded. now I'm checking your channel back and scorling the Vedio as sams vibe. how cool it feels to see you kept going!
I love the way you explain things! It really convinces me that the 'extra' steps like browning butter and refrigerating the dough are worth the effort.
Never clicked so fast!❤ I’ve been waiting for this one!
This is a nice recipe. Thank you for sharing.
This video is just proof of why I love your channel. :)
That's soooo cool
You've explained it soooo well
You're so good ❤
i just found an vedio of you 5 years ago, I've uploaded.
now I'm checking your channel back
and scorling the Vedio as sams vibe.
how cool it feels to see you kept going!
Hey! Would like to ask if the measurement for butter is correct 112gm? Thanks a bunch 😊
Wow, they look soo good! *drools
love learning the science behind baking!
I love the way you explain things! It really convinces me that the 'extra' steps like browning butter and refrigerating the dough are worth the effort.
I have trouble finding unsalted butter, and usually just adjust the amount of salt in the recipe when baking- Will using salted butter change the browned butter at all?
Thank you!
Just another great video Sadie, great work! definitely going to be baking these yummy cookies 😊
these are so easy and fun! thank you
Could you also make this recipe using regular butter and milk? would it still be the same? or do you have to have the plant based milk?
Loved the baking explanations!
