    Lucas, these videos with poppa have been extremely informative. Great info from someone who clearly knows what he is doing.

    I can see it, you've got your spelunking gear on about to take the deep dive down the Discus rabbit hole looking for the bottom!! It's been a treat learning TRUE discus information the last 2days, not the typical fear mongering on the interwebz.

    great Video once again Lucas! So great to see you today despite the crazy weather. Thanks for making a pit stop in St. Louis. Hope you got home safely, can't wait to see updates on your discus!

    It has been so cool seeing these gorgeous fish spawning, and then seeing others having spawned sometime after them, and now seeing that pair picking and cleaning the cone and getting ready.
    Really cool fishroom. Thanks for bringing us along with you.

    Great video. I have a pair that just spawned Thursday but because they are young and it's their first spawn they ate the eggs. No big deal. They will probably spawn again in a few weeks. If you can't find the cones or don't want to pay 20 bud for em, use clay flower pots. They work great. Thanks for the great tour 😍

      20 bucks..... Damn spell check. Lol

    • @PoppaRyno
      @PoppaRyno 5 років тому

      I dont pay 20. I think $11. I use them specifically for their lip. You'll see why once you get a hatch

      Poppa Ryno thanks for the link. I def got ripped off on the 2 I have. I know exactly what ur talking about with the lip...I have gotten hatches from other pairs 😍 but thank you, much appreciated. I will always take advise from someone like you readily and happily. Your discus are stunning!!

    Hi, can you please post the link to the site about the clay cones; couldn't find it anywhere! Thanks

    • @mariaz9538
      @mariaz9538 5 років тому +2

      You can find them on Amazon, LiveAquaria.com and a few others but they are expensive for what they are. I use clay flower pots upside down...works great. Good luck

    What if you have a female who lays her eggs in a tank full of other discus but there’s no males who go and fertilize the eggs.

    • @PoppaRyno
      @PoppaRyno 5 років тому

      Then they will calcify & go white. She or other fish will eat them eventually.
