    Hi! So i made several of these and i love it thank you!! The only part that i keep messing up is the start of the head 16sc. To be clear when you are starting the 8 slst are you starting from the same stitch you did the tail or the next stitch from that? I start with the next stitch and do 8slst. However at the end of that i have 13 sc around the head, if i continue and do middle and the last slst i still have 15sc so i never get 16sc. Could you please help me get this right?

    • @FAME_ART
      @FAME_ART  Місяць тому

      Thank you so much! I'm happy you love making these! We have 32 stitches, after making the tail in one stitch (using 2 double crochets, 1 half double crochet, and 1 single crochet), I joined both sides with 8 slip stitches. This leaves you with 15 stitches. For the head, to get the 16th stitch, I used the loop from the last slip stitch as the 16th single crochet. I hope this helps! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

    What can I do if I want to make this pattern but twice as big? Do I double everything?

    • @FAME_ART
      @FAME_ART  10 днів тому

      Thank you for your comment! To make the amigurumi chicken twice as big, it's better to use thicker yarn and a larger hook size rather than doubling the stitches. Doubling the stitches can change the shape and proportions of the design. By using thicker yarn and a larger hook, you’ll maintain the proportions of the pattern while achieving a larger size. Let me know if you have any more questions!

      Absolutely! You can use a smaller, non-fluffy yarn with this pattern. Just keep in mind that your amigurumi chicken might turn out smaller than the one in the tutorial. Be sure to adjust your hook size accordingly to maintain the proper tension, and use smaller safety eyes to match the scale. This pattern would make a charming keychain or bagcharm! 😊

      Thanks for your comment! I understand it can be a bit tricky with velvet yarn. Round 2 starts right after the end of Round 1,If there is hole you are facing the problem, may be your magic ring didn't close properly or you have made a larger then needed,instead of making MR you can make slip knot and ch 2 and make Round 1 in the slip knot stitch.I have added a timestamp at the [2:27 sec] in the video where I show exactly where to start R2. Hope this helps!
