These are the best protein pancakes I've tried so far! They are nice and fluffy just like regular ones Except I don't feel bloated afterward. You're recipes are the best!

A family favorite of ours is making butter milk pancakes with cardamum, nutmeg, and cloves. We usually will top them with a homemade whipped cream or as you do with coconut oil. Great recipe I'm definitely going to try it as I have pumpkin puree lying around and no idea what to do with them ha. Thanks!

Amaaaaazing... I've been looking into high protein easy meals, and this one is the winner for me, it doesn't have protein powder added and all the ingredient are perfectly healthy.
Thanks a million Dani, wish you all the best.

You could use a whole eggs... I've also heard their is a way to make 'mock eggs' by combining flax seeds and water... haven't tried it but hear it's suppose to help bind foods like eggs do.

I do mine 🥞 with Bob’s red mill Prebiotic protein powder, they are so very delicious, any spice can be added to it; it keeps you full for such a long time, I usually eat them with my homemade plums/pears no added sugar spread/ “jam”.

I love the pumpkin season! so good. Always got to get that high protein breakfast in every morning. Thanks for sharing! Love the Cottage Cheese mix to it. so good. I too use coconut oil for a lot of my cooking. brings out the best flavor in the foods too and keeps it moist as well. Especially if you cook chicken and you know when you store Chicken away for leftovers for the next day, it tends to be a little dry, add a little coconut oil to it and mix it with the chicken as you re-warm it, so good. little friendly tip.

Tiny pancake tip from the Alton Brown god: after you put your oil on the skillet/pan, get a paper towel and wipe off all the excess. This makes it so your pancakes are actually grilling, not frying! I love making pumpkin pancakes but thought I'd have to give them up with my new paleo-ish diet. Cannot wait to try these!!

    Hi! from Australia
Thought you might like to try this desert for a change.
    Butter two slices of bread
Spread jam on one slice or put currants or sultanas on
put the other slice on top
Cut on the diagonal [ looks nice ]
    Dip in batter
    deep fry until golden brown
Serve with ice cream or maple syrup
    Hope you enjoy

Hey Dani! I do the same thing as far as making pancakes ahead of time and freezing them. I find that if I want to "crisp" them up a bit, after I put them inthe microwave for a bit I will put them in the toaster and it makes them almost like them just came off the pan! Love this idea, I am always looking for ways to get more protein! Totally gonna try it! :) xo Kristin

Pumpkin spice is a combo of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and ground ginger~ Normally at supermarkets you can buy them separately if you can't find the pumpkin pie spice blend =) I had to find my pie spice blend at whole foods! Not that common to find...

You should add Peanut butter to the mix. I made similar recipe like yours, but I added PB to it, also my triple chocolate protein powder mix, to give it that extra boost of protein and that chocolate flavor to the Banana and PB mix, also I use one package of the boxed Banana nut oatmeal as well.

QUESTIONS: Would it work to use butternut squash instead of pumpkin? If I use homemade puree, whether it's pumpkin or b. squash, should I strain out any of the liquid? I ask because canned puree seems less watery. Are three whole eggs equal to 6 egg whites, as long as the total measures 3/4 cup? Thank you.

Amazing recipe. I'm going to try subbing yogurt for the cheese.. I hope that works haha. I also noticed you didn't use any baking soda or powder but they still came out a little fluffy :) I've been trying to differentiate the two and figure out when to use which in a homemade recipe. Any tips? Also, do you have a website with all your recipes? It would be so amazing if you had every recipe written with its nutritional value since they are healthy!! I work out 4-5 days a week and am in the process of structuring a meal plan in terms of macros.. your recipes are super ideal! Thanks a lot

Bananas are so good for you though, full of potassium, very important for your body. I know, my GF does not like bananas either, does not like the texture, flavor, I get it though. You should try peanut butter pancakes, so good, I use triple chocolate protein powder to add that little chocolate flavor to the PB Pancakes. healthy but taste so good, could be a perfect midnight snack as well

P.S. My son was a very finicky eater when he was young, so instead of sandwiches (which he didn't eat), I sometimes pack "pancake sandwiches", 2 pancakes with a small amount of syrup or butter in between the layers. I did the same thing with french toast. Unfortunately, here in Israel (at least when my kids were small) most parents sent chocolate sandwiches, which was literally 2 slices of bread spread with chocolate spread (actually, canned cake frosting). So in order to avoid the "chocolate sandwich" (which my kids loved of course) I sent pancakes or french toast so that they would have a healthier choice.
