I have the same car and find it works best in 2nd gear - accelerate bringing the revs up to 3k+ and then come off the accelerator, then just tap the gas again quickly and that’ll bring out a few pops. It’s basically unburnt fuel igniting on the exhaust, won’t do any harm to the car.
Habe jetzt auch einen aber darf noch nicht über 3000 Umdrehungen.. wegen Neuwagen aber wie machst du die pops and bangs? Mit runterschalten oder muss man einfach über 3000 dann
Für die Pops & Bangs einfach in "Dynamic" oder "S" gehen und wenn man zwischen 3000 und 4000 upm den Fuß vom Gas nimmt sollte es knallen 😊 oder beim Runterschalten geht es auch 😊

I have 2023 S3 and can get nice loud pops but how do I actually do it on demand? And will this hurt the car in the long run?

Gibt es zwischen S3 Edition und normaler S3 Aga einen Unterschied außer den Blenden?
