Iloilo is really one of the best places to start exploring in the Philippines. It is a very affordable province and it has everything you need, a big flourishing city, islands, beaches, heritage and historical towns and churches and even a mountain town if you want to take a break from the tropical heat.
As I was exploring the province, I was so stunned how many unique and beautiful churches Iloilo has. I actually thought I visited everything but a viewer told me about other centennial churches in the province. Iloilo is amazing 👌
An interesting history about Tigbauan church, noong ginagawa yata ang church, workers found a wooden box tas nakita nila sa loob ang isang golden Sto. Niño. It became the patron of the town and it was called Sto. Naging masagana ang Tigbauan through the Sto Niño until it was lost.
@@02traveltv if may time ka po you can ask the priest o mga locals na nakakatatanda about the history of the golden Sto Niño. One of the strongest possibilities eh dinala siya sa Spain as a gift sa hari nila noon.

In our town in Janiuay it is a huge church too. But most part of the church was destroyed during WW2.
Oh I went to Janiuay already and featured their church, the cemetery and Damires Hills Resort. Please check it out, I believe you will love it.
here is the, I really hope that you will love it.
