Bit of both, I want DC figures and in my country these are really easy to find and are affordable. Not every release is a winner but that's why there are people like you out there to shine your spotlight on them and give us insight into what we are getting. I don't care that they are 7" as I display these together and my Mafex together and my PAK together etc. I like what I like and don't care too much about scale unless it's 1/18 those tiny things are just annoying lol
I’m mostly collecting because I want good dc figures. At first the 7 inch scale bugged me but I find I don’t mind it anymore. This could be because I almost have as much McFarland figures as legends now. My biggest complaint with McFarland is honestly the hand options and not giving the figures two fists. This is one of the reasons I really like this figure
7" scale is my favorite to collect. Looks less like a toy figure and more like a tiny statue. I'm so glad McFarlane went with the 7" scale for the DC Multiverse line. Also this Bizarro looks sick. If I remrmber correctly, Bizarro is from the Bizarro world where everything is backwards. Up is down, down is up. So Bizarro's head should technically look larger than Superman's head. So glad I was still able to find one. I didn't know McFarlane had made one.
I kinda like 7 inch because of neca and mcfarlane but i would totally be fine if they were six inch. I do like that the storm collectables injustice figs fit in with this line though
Buying these because they're the best & affordable DC line at the moment. There's a lot of good, and a little lacking, but overall I've been happier with these figs than with Hasbro.
Well, yes, because there's not another option, but 7inch is nothing new,I don't mind. Would it be cool to be able to pair up with Legends? Yes,but it's not the end of the world
both, still think DCUC's the best DC figure line, but DC chose McF for his McFareleness, & its the route they want to take w/ their figures, most likely.. & w/ these figures still at $16-$20, for 7 inches; it maybe the only line I'll cherry picklingly but steadily collect into 2022.
It’s really is the only DC related figure line that is budget friendly for what you get. With that said it is a bit of a cherry-picking line. Some are great and others are meh.
The new DKR Superman seems to have finally gotten Clarks body right proportionally.... but the head sculpt sucks. Reminded me more of Ed McGuiness design, than Frank Millar. McFarlane has so much potential and you can see them ]better, and the price point is excellent compared to Legends... but there is always a but. They need to standardise their body molds and make them perfect. They seem to be experimenting as they go. The Newer batman figures look great... but no fist ffs.
I guess since the DC Multiverse line, at least the McFarlane version is more realistic, that's why the muscles are not that visible considering the clothing. I don't know, that's my opinion
I'm into this line because is DC and some figures are very aesthetically pleasing to me, I don't care about the scale, if they were more consistent and didn't focus so much on Batman Edit: This body is Infected Superman that you approved, I agree with the thighs and the articulation with the elbows are more than satisfying
I only buy them because they're affordable DC figures. I'd rather they be roughly 6 inches because they don't really fit in with the rest of my collection. They're also severely lacking in articulation and it's astonishing that a lot of the figures still do not have accessories. Most of them come with cup holder/Lego hands or trigger hands, which is baffling to me. Also, I'd rather have a thigh cut than have toe articulation. This line is extremely mediocre.
Answer of the day: I started collecting when DC Direct was releasing figures in the 7 inch scale. I enjoyed their sculpts more than the Mattel's DC multiverse so personally I'm happy that these Mcfarlane figures scale relatively well with the rest of my DC collection.
Not sure if I’m a lucky one or you’re unlucky but the diaphragm joint on mine goes forward. Doesn’t really go back tho. These figures do have issues, but all in all I’ve been pleased with them. I like the slightly bigger scale. And coming from collecting Legends, I appreciate the extra effort in them mostly using a new sculpt for the figure instead of “let’s just use this buck cause it’s here” mentality Hasbro has. Plus they’ve been a lot easier to find at retail. Every figure I’ve wanted I’ve found at retail. And usually plenty left on the shelf. TLDR. They could be better. But they could be a whole lot worse.
I would prefer a DC line in 6 inch scale so they could fit with other lines, but I don't mind the 7 inch scale - if figures were consistent with their scale than going all over the place. I've been cherry picking figures from this toy line and hopefully the license goes to a different company soon or Mcfarlane improves.
Dam, was this for “Turn back Tuseday? This fig is like at least 6 months old. Forgot I even have It. Bizzaro. A moron, with Superman’s powers, how can’t you like that guy. I buy a few, got Flash Point Batman, I think that’s it. He makes too many Batman’s that’s for sure. Bizzaro at 7” works, he should be big. I want a good Solomon Grundy, supergirl, honestly anything but more flipping Batman. Todd has a hardon for Bruce Wayne or something.
This line is a hit or miss, it's the same with the MK figures. Like HOW are you going to put out a whole fighting game line and not include fist hands with the figures.
Scale isn't that important to me if I like the figure I'm going to get it, I don't look for figure to blend in with my other ones, I like each figure standing out on it's own on my shelves. Hey Anthony any updates on your action figure line?
I'n my opinion (and I will probably get some hate for this one) Todd McFarlane has always been quite a bit overrated. ..even moving sometimes, into "buffoon" territory. Now, dont me wrong, Spawn is dope af and some of his other art wasn't bad. But, he should just leave action figures alone imo. First, he makes statues, which he called action figures and sure, they were very sculpted and detailed, but honestly, the sculpts never really looked quite right (Except with Spawn and related). Now, he's doing the DC multiverse line and aside from the fact that he puts trigger finger hands with EVERY figure... even Superman....,none of the figures are in scale with one another and last but not least, when Todd was asked why he didn't make the DC figures, to scale more closely to the Marvel Legends, star wars black and many other 1/12ish scale figures that everyone has collected for years, his answer was, "I'm giving you more plastic. Its bigger, so its better." ...which is great, if you're an 8 year old... but thats a bit of a narrow way to look at it, as such a "super geek", comic guru guy. He simply don't get it. Sik
7 in is almost the only scale i collect. I don't like 6 inch midgets, specially when these are even more affordable than most action figures out there. More plastic for less money

Bizarro is one of my favorite Superman villains alongside Parasite.

Yes I just started collecting them very pleased 😀
Stopped collecting Black Series because of price
I did not get this one yet
Wait til you get the superman rebirth with the same body mold and sloppy painted red lines on the shins instead of a new shin sculpt
Well,yes,because there's not another option,but 7inch is nothing new,I don't mind.
Would it be cool to be able to pair up with Legends? Yes,but it's not the end of the world
I collect those because McFarlane is the only dc line with cool sculpts and affordable price

That cape is perfect, looks like 3d Mignola art.
Option 3... I don't collect this hideous line at all.
In the thumbnail, he looks like he's about to use a Raging Demon
I 100% agree with your opinion Anthony.
Thanks for the review.

Will you review the light-up Hazmat Batman suit? Also the Three Jokers line?
I Collect them becase its the only option

100 percent agree with your review Anthony❣️
I don't care about the scale (I get both Marvel Legends and Select if I like the figure), I get these because they are pretty decent.
I buy these because they're the only ones available. But I like them too. I thought it would be fun to start collecting at wave 1.
Great review Anthony, just got mine today and I think he’s great. Appreciate the help in making my decision.

I'm only buying the biggest ones of the bunch that could go with 6 inch figures
Just started collecting these about a month ago
I like the 7 inch sale figures
Dc for me has always been 7 inch scale because of DC direct.

You know what they say, about a guy with big head, and big hands?
Small thighs?

i don't buy these because of the scale, just way too large for my taste and yes that's what she said

When are you going to review marvel legends zombie captain America
