That was a real nail biter Alex!! A cracking game, the way the Germans held the attack off until the double phase was really tense.
The German Leader picking the right time for the attack. Well done Alex, Thank You👍

Great game and video. If I may be so bold, some scatter terrain tree stumps would be a good way of breaking the flatness of the table. Your s look really good, love the puddles in some!

That was tense! It was very interesting to see how things would go with such open terrain. A grim "take away" for me: I'll need more corpse figures. Craters looked great, and the boards to organize the forces are great! Thanks for recording this one, Alex.

Great game Alex! One thing to note: you could have avoided the “waiting game” by spending the CoC Dice to end the turn during the British phase. The turn would have ended after the British phase and the Germans could have taken their phase without worrying about British overwatch.
Just something I noticed that would have helped move the game along! Again, great report!

Cracking game Alex! Hopefully going to get my Great War guys on the table this week. Do you have pdfs of those force organization table things similar to your WWII ones?

Well I hear what you are saying about the MG01/15 and the Lewis gun, and the rules are quite clear about it; but would you personally care to hump an extra 5-6Kg with the MG08/15? I had enough shit humping the Charlie G around. But you are correct; that is what the rules say. (When I carried it ir was about half way between the two. )

Alex, great stuuf. I intend to do some of these as well.
What extra rules do you use for your version, please?
I've noticed LMG jams. Do you add anything else?

Cheers, it's all the same stuff as in the Cocking Up the Mud and the Blood in the Lardy Christmas Special 2014.

@StormofSteelWargaming you use the LMG jamming rule (didn't think that was in the 2014 article), but I wondered if there was anything else?

@@chrisg9445 no, it was just the jamming rule, IIRC. I filmed this several months ago, so I can't recall what else I'd added.
