    If anyone is here to learn DIY, stop watching now. This is how NOT to do something. Experts don't use a sledge hammer when loosening two nuts will do the job, or make sinks out of wood.😮🤔

    The base of the toilet was cemented.
    There was no other way but to demolish the whole thing.
    But still, be very, very careful because broken pieces of ceramic or porculain are sharp like a surgeon knife.

    An expert would never use the sledgehammer. He would simply take the entire WC off. More practical, clean, discrete and silent.

      one works according to the tools one has. I think I'm gonna do the same as here. too much cement in old toilets in a restricted bathroom to be able to use the ideal tools.

      And also add a load of time to the job as well as leaving potentially hazardous shards of porcelain all over the floor. Which are also covered in waste particles. Nice.😕

    Oh, so that's how they do it when you don't have a toilet pipe down on the floor... xD
    So, you obviously don't have to break the whole toilet to remove it.
    Those flexible hoses don't need thread tape, they have rubber washers to stop the water from leaking.
    I'm also not very sure about using that type of flexible pipe to go down the drain. Sewage will get trapped there and it's gonna cause problems...
    But I may be wrong, I'm not a plumber.

    That "S" trap looks neat but you better hope nothing goes down the drain with it being fused like that. And when it clogs it's going to be fun to deal with.

    Yes undo bolts an pull out, les mess, that porcelain is sharp as a glass, don’t recommend to break it in pieces

      @@chrisquinn394 Teflon tape not only seals, it lubricants metal on metal.
      Those rubber washers also fail, so why not the teflon tape?

      You just said teflon tape definitely wasn't a lubricant. What generation plumber are you?
      I've never had a call back for any leaks ever. Metal on metal without lubricant. Jeezz

      You had just learned that things are not always the way you think just because you had no idea it could be otherwise. Travel around and you will see things can be done in different ways, and "your" way may not be the best, go figure.
      Just because you have always done things in one way do not mean that that is the best way, it just means that you have always just done it in one way.

    We used to use the toilet's debris with our aggregate when we uprade the bathroom flooring.😂
    And in my country the garbage truck won't collect the toilet as a whole, it needs to get crushed first.

      Mmm it depends. Not really a huge market for used toilets so it's basically trash anyways. They are also heavy and awkward to carry. Plus the one in this video is cemented to the floor so it's the only way.

    Отличная работа. Наш мастер всё сделал так же, но вызывала повторно. Мне не понравилась гофра слива. Она то была короче. Поставил новую. Да.. ремонт ванной стоил мне смерти моей кошечки, она после операции по удалению новообразования и плохо выдерживала присутствие чужого человека в доме.

      I was thinking the same thing! I'm in Canada and all the standard household toilets I've ever seen drain into the floor, not the wall. Is this style common in another country?
