Jeeps-corvettes937 JKs ran into 2018 production as well as JL. I will email or message on facebook to DoneRightLED and let them know you have a JL. I am not sure if it has a lip to place the light bar on or which wires you would tie into. The JL is brand new and I have not even seen one yet.

Jeeps Roc The light is awesome! I installed it last week, my one issue is that it turns on/off with the dome lights, I’m going to be wiring it directly to 12v so it can’t work independently for as long as I need it to be on. Other than that I love it!

Jeeps Roc I guess I got lucky, that plug came included in the kit. I’d have to install a lighter adapter, seems easier to tap into an existing 12v connection to avoid having that plug out, I like the clean look it has right now. Thanks for the input, much appreciated.
Only issue I see would be if you want to remove the hard top you gotta kinda undo the one connection. Otherwise solid install and a really good idea!
Greg M. Bec the connection is right at the base of where the hard top connects to the body of the Jeep. Since you have to remove the bolts or quick disconnects it is a simple disconnect and off the top goes. I have shown others how to disconnect and their reponses are..too easy. Thanks for watching.

XTL The connection is a simple to wire install. You could modify to being a switch. The new JL Jeeps have an AUX 4 switch and customers have wired it to those.
I was thinking about it...maybe you could velcro the remote to the inside of the top and accessible so when you open the top, the remote is right there.
Where do you get that cover over your storage area I like it keeps thing more hidden.

This is a metal enclosure that once you shut your tailgate you have a real big lock box. No access on the sides or front. It can hold a lot of weight. I have a light below as well so that I can see inside.
It would have been nice to see how the wires connected to the dome light.

How does this connect to the dome light wiring?
Alex Dennis If you will watch the video on my channel for the rear tire brake light I show how to connect the wire. It is at the very end. Both use the same type of connection and simple to do. Both lights come with all necessary parts for the install.

Tuffy Security JK enclosure. One of my most surprising upgrades. It is lock box for your Jeep. All sides are metal. When your tailgate is closed there is no way to get inside it. I have lights inside as well since it is completely black inside at night. Tuffy Security makes two different kinds. The one I am using is quite difficult to remove without the top off. It gives you to levels store items. I have had a 45 gallon Rtic cooler on top and all my supplies down below. Hope this helped.
Thank you for the info. I have two questions, I have a YETI and RTIC 45 do you think either will fit underneath the shelf and do you think that the TeraFlex Alta Cargo Rack will hold the YETI 65. Once again thanks for your help...
Veteran Jeeper Rtic45 fits on top but not on bottom. If you have the subwoofer use that as a measuring point. It fits right over the top. Full Rtic45 rode fine with no issues on weight on top. Off-roading that is.
