Here's why I got the tab S4 because it's a brilliant tablet for documentation, it's great for the pen activities. For reading and noting things down also a awesome screen resolution and great for watching films. All I use it for learning and watching you tube videos it's literally a replacement for a laptop and it does what I need it for I not using it for high processing or high gaming but it's brilliant for reading for sure. I choose the tab S4 for that reason and it's still handles itself perfectly.

Nice video man! I bought the Tab s4 recently because your videos and I'm just loving it. I only use it for note taking, web browser and email, so the hardware is more than enough for me. Something that I really want from Samsung is to release a 12" version. Then definitely will upgrade my Tab s4. Thanks for the video!

Oh yea, you should have no problem! Gmail could use an update to work more consistently on the Samsung tablets.

Nice video, thanks for sharing. You brought up some good points. I currently have the Tab S2 and I'm ready to upgrade. I understand that the S6 is the latest & greatest, but I'm just an average tablet user (not a gamer or video editor) and I think the S4 will work fine for me. Plus, I don't think you mentioned it, but with the S6 you lose the headphone jack and I like the option to plug in my headphones for a direct connection. Since you said either tablet would be a good choice, I think I'll save the $150 and go with the S4. Thanks again.

I have one question, when you're watching a video in tab s4, can you create a note at the same time or note app has a transparency feature when you are surfing on the Internet and take note or something like that? I know the tab s6 has this ability i wanna be sure about tab s4!

Hi, I can get a second hand S4 for €300 or a new S6 for €520. I plan to use it for reading books, browsing, social media, editing photos, maybe even some video. Is it worth spending €220 extra on the s6? Thanks
You'll be good with the S4 for those activities. I would say, if you plan on keeping it for a while, buy the S6 since it has a newer processor to last longer.

I would say so.
I didn't really need a new tablet. I only bought the Tab S4 because Best Buy had it brand new on sale for only $260 around Christmas of 2019. I am happy with it. But the Galaxy Note 12.2 is still the best tablet Samsung ever made. Mine has battery issues and a dead pixel now. If I could have purchased another Note 12.2 brand new, I would have .

Using a Tab S2 9.7 atm, trying to convince myself its worth upgrading in the Black Friday sales. Light gaming use but one a pension so money is a factor, main issue is the battery with the current S2 but the S6 looks so nice and is so little more than the S4 in the sales!
Yea if you can, you're gonna see a world of difference with the S4 or S6! The S6 may be the better deal right now due to sales. 😄

It's not a problem to me. You do notice the weight difference which is nice for the Tab S6.
S6 650?? Omg. I just got a beautiful new (open box) tab s4 64gb for 250.00 w/tax. It's awesome. You can keep the s6. (Just got android 10 update too.) Price for s6 too high.

I also upgraded to the tab s6 from the tab s4. It's a weird one because although the s6 is a worthy upgrade from the s4 you, you'd need to own the tab s4 to understand its still a very good choice.

Eh... don't think so unless you have money to burn, there is absolutely no substantive upgrade here or financial sense for an upgrade here, the S4 is a horse.. you need to do a separate video of specific workloads where you substantially saved time performing particular process. The S4 easily keeps the S6 in check... and don't throw up a 3D realtime benchmark, I'll use my 2080Ti for that thank you, my S4 is for travelling and work, and has never let me down. I have been through every comparison on the web and on youtube and see 0 reasons to fork out for the S6 currently, I paid 348 Euro on sale early December 2019 WITH the Samsung Keyboard, and have not looked back, they didn't even increase the resolution, I do not like Apples closed Eco System.
It's not always about specs. Sometimes, a company can just go the wrong route with the design of a device and that's enough to upgrade. The Tab S6 offers better design and a safer design than all glass. The S-Pen likewise offers more functionality. Although you're right that, simple stuff the S4 can handle just fine, Samsung made a mistake with the 835 instead of the 845 at that time. Longevity matters too.

ealistically serious load on ANY Tablet (esp. 3D graphics) ??.. personally I'm going to have to see something extremely special, not a few bells and whistles, to make me upgade. Just my 2 cents worth.
