I also liked when the Fink was told by Jericho, that he was a Warrior. The Fink ran to the ring with the UW theme song and shook the ropes. Hilarity ensued.
The 1990 Royal Rumble was not just Hogan inadvertently eliminating the Warrior. During the Rumble at one moment, all other participants were cleared out by Hogan and Warrior and only those two briefly in the ring one on one. It was electrifying and the crowd stood in attendance, to witness something that had not been seen on PPV. The two top babyfaces facing off.
Childhood Warrior fan here . A memory that really sticks out was one day after school my mum took me to a toy store called “ Young World “ to buy the Hasbro wrestling figure of the Warrior👌👌😆 Great careless memories 🇬🇧❤️
I still own Wrestlemania 5 on VHS. My favourite part of the match is right at the start when Rude goes to knee Warrior in the gut, but he sells his knee because he actually hit the IC Title belt that Warrior still had around his waist. It's the little things that go a long way. The whole rivalry between Rick Rude and the Ultimate Warrior is definitely worth a watch.
Such a great way to start the match. Right after this, Warrior just throws Rude from turnbuckle to turnbuckle. Rude bumps so hard around the ring for Warrior.. it was so good.
@Christopher Palmer Also, a weird bit in the match where Heenan goes in his pocket for no reason. It doesn't tie into the match. Heenan just fixed his pocket lol

Wow brother that's something I've always said! He did have the IC belt in yellow! But the World Championship belt he had it in obviously in Black, White, the light blue, a dark blue and the lilac light purple titles! He was and still the only one who ever did!

He actually was in an action movie in 1993 called Firepower, he played The Swordsman! In the near future, street gangs have their own city zones where cops can't go. Also, Warriors light blue belt was f'n badass imo! Classic!
Randy Macho Man Paffo Savage and Jim "Warrior" Hellwig, two of the best of friends in real-life. I met Warrior while I lived near his home in Scottsdale AZ in the mid 90's until 2012. I have to say, Dana and Warrior were the nicest people that has ever walked this Earth. There will be no one else more inspiring and wise, who cared for people to believe in themselves like Warrior. Heck, his UA-cam videos were motivating, very intellectual and articulate just like him. No other wrestler ever reached out to his fans or simply to those who needed an injection of pure inspiration quite like him. In the end, all he wanted and be was a real good father, a mentor and a role model to his kind-hearted daughters Indiana and Mattigan. Rest in Peace Warrior! Thank you for making my teenage years fun and Ultimate!

Really? It's a random license free song I found on UA-cam Sound Library. One of the many reasons why I don't like using songs there, but it did sound very fitting
His intensity, that ring entrance the face paint and that body he was awesome but he was at times his worst enemy it a shame he didn’t change like have a heel run I always wonder what he be like as a heel because he was getting mixed reactions in WCW but him pinning hogan clean at wrestlemania was unbelievable this period you put was his best run by far
Back when Ultimate Warrior showed up in WCW, I remember a friend telling me that it wasn't REALLY the Ultimate Warrior. That original Warrior died, and the current one was really his brother. Apparently, there were people who really believed that at the time.
Keep her lit, but don't burn yourself out mate. I saw you post about time issues, so take your time. Your videos are informative and great craic to watch. I'd prefer less videos than no videos at all.
The biggest mistake that WWE, Vince in general made was that he should have had Warrior and Savage battle for the title after Wrestlemania 6 and leading up to either Royal Rumble or Wrestlemania 7. Plus putting Hogan in Main Event matches made his title victory over Hogan look like a joke
Hogan stated before, that Warrior opened the door for short term wrestlers. Goldberg and Lesnar are noticeable guys. Get the money and get out. All of them prefer five minute or less matches.
Who was a good main event champion during those days wrestling wise? Macho Man and that's about it. Warrior took the Hogan route of getting beat down 80% of the match and making the comeback to win. He couldn't sell like Hogan though but he still "hulked" up during the comeback.
I was related to he Warrior from marriage. Our family would get backstage passes every time he came to the Hoosier Dome. I will never forget as a young child getting to meet the Warrior with his makeup on.
When I use to play the wrestling games when I was younger I use to always pick the ultimate warrior and if I did pick someone else it was tag team and he was still always on my team.
Nothing can describe that feeling as a kid when the warriors music hit!!
Winston 1875 still gets me even now.

I knew it was same guy back then ..the warrior just lost muscle mass when he came back in 92 that's all 💪
Yeah that was a stupid conspiracy.. Lol.. There's was only ever one Jim Helwig..
@@iamthatguyfromslipknot1137 that rumor was running as rampant as the Warrior to the ring where i live js.
if Vince McMahon could of found someone to impersonate him he would of trust me lots of people loved him
I hope there’s a second part too this keep up the good work man amazing videos
You know it's gonna be a great video when Wrestling Bios' intro music is the same music played on Smacktalk's YT channel.... I'm probably not the only one that noticed this lol Anyways, great video!
Really? It's a random license free song I found on UA-cam Sound Library. One of the many reasons why I don't like using songs there, but it did sound very fitting
@@WrestlingBios I know it's a royalty-free UA-cam song. I was just making an observation. I like the song regardless of what channel it is on.
He didnt beat hogan clean hogan made it look like he almost won bye trying to kick out to late
Back when Ultimate Warrior showed up in WCW, I remember a friend telling me that it wasn't REALLY the Ultimate Warrior. That original Warrior died, and the current one was really his brother. Apparently, there were people who really believed that at the time.
the super pose down with ric rude was awesome especially with jesse ventura commentary
This video was way better than Warrior's WCW run
I agree 💯.... WCW was boring 😴
Keep her lit, but don't burn yourself out mate. I saw you post about time issues, so take your time. Your videos are informative and great craic to watch. I'd prefer less videos than no videos at all.
Good video didn't now to much about the warrior, going to check out the other video now
The biggest mistake that WWE, Vince in general made was that he should have had Warrior and Savage battle for the title after Wrestlemania 6 and leading up to either Royal Rumble or Wrestlemania 7. Plus putting Hogan in Main Event matches made his title victory over Hogan look like a joke
Thank God I have these matches on DVD. Since WWE will not show these matches.
Man I swear I loved this dude when I was little. Now I’m older I’m like man he really wasn’t a good wrestler
Lol the first Goldberg
Hogan stated before, that Warrior opened the door for short term wrestlers.
Goldberg and Lesnar are noticeable guys. Get the money and get out.
All of them prefer five minute or less matches.
Who was a good main event champion during those days wrestling wise? Macho Man and that's about it. Warrior took the Hogan route of getting beat down 80% of the match and making the comeback to win. He couldn't sell like Hogan though but he still "hulked" up during the comeback.
Loved him too but man he was just terrible. His promos are hilarious
..who cares we all remember him so leave it at that
I was related to he Warrior from marriage. Our family would get backstage passes every time he came to the Hoosier Dome. I will never forget as a young child getting to meet the Warrior with his makeup on.
Load the spaceship with the rocket fuel!! Good times haha
“ ROCKET FUEL” hahahhahaha
Yeah definitely the best time in wrestling.. The Ultimate Warrior was always my favourite wrestler...
😂
For me its the shove that control into a nose dive Hoe Kogan!
When I use to play the wrestling games when I was younger I use to always pick the ultimate warrior and if I did pick someone else it was tag team and he was still always on my team.
Dingleberry Warrior 😂🤘
not a Warrior fan but this is great coverage of his career
Along with Sting and Rowdy Roddy Piper, one of my all-time favorite wrestlers.👍
