A bonus video for you this week! There will still be a Sunday video, as well. Hopefully no one will complain that I posted an extra video this week. ;) I also want to thank you all for the overwhelming positive feedback on my last video! It blew my mind in a good way. I FEEL THE LOVE! Sorry I couldn't respond to all of the over 1300 comments, but I appreciate them ALL! ❤ Love you all! Cat
No complaints here! Sundays are my sleep-in day, so I always miss the new uploads. This one let me enjoy your company during lunch 😊 PS That Anker unit is pretty nifty. I don't have a lot of upper body strength. Is it hard to maneuver?
You're messing with me. I thought it was Sunday. 😂 I've only followed you a couple years so I'm going back and picking up vids from 4 years ago. You and Joey in Grand Canyon and Devils Gorge? (Cant remember for sure but those were both awesome trips! Glad I finally got to watch them.
Please be safe. You need to set up two chairs with plates, cups, etc. Therefore, if someone passes by they will think someone else is with you. Also, Mr. Smith and Mrs. Wesson are always good friends.
You inspire me with the knowledge that one can live well with very little. I think your campsite beat a lot of hotels I've had to stay in. Also glad so many viewers have come to your support. I think you are doing a fine job.
A long time ago, after 2 weeks travel camping, I remember getting a hotel room as a "reward"... boy was I disappointed! I could not wait to get back out in fresh air and nature! Glad your truck is happy again. We appreciate you, too! 👍🇨🇦😎🎁
You weren't a John Denver fan growing up!? Thank goodness you changed you ways, lol! I remember playing his songs on the jukebox back in the day. One in particular I played a lot at our family summer vacation lodge in Lake of the Woods, Ontario Canada. We went there every summer for two weeks, and it's still one of my favorite childhood memories. One year in particular, I developed a teenage crush on a girl whos family was there at the same time we were. Thankfully her parents and my parents became friends and we'd go visit them from time to time thereafter. The one song in particular was John Denver's "Annie's Song". Yeah, I was only a teenager, but an old soul. If you haven't listened to it before, check it out. Sorry, that story became a little long winded. I can definitely relate to your distain for hotel rooms. I hate them. If I can help it, I'll never stay in one again. Shouldn't be a problem since I have a truck camper. Glad you got your truck fixed, Cat! Wow, that bill is a little steep, but it's fixed. :) Nice cooler! Anker makes good stuff. Why do I get hungry every time I watch one of your videos, haha! Good thing your ceiling lights don't stay stuck up, lmao. I saw you pause for a second after saying that. I have the same stuck up lights too. They're great. You've got your truck camper setup dialed in. Nice job! Thanks for the bonus video!!
Hello Catherine, I have been a follower for some time now and enjoy your stories of travel. Saw a video from about a month ago where you were speaking on the subject of rude people and comments, I can tell that you are a kind soul which I know makes it harder to understand how those people live in the world as they do. But what I've also learned,,, when people are judging you it doesn't define your character-it defines their character as someone who needs to judge to feel better about themselves
Thanks for the video Cat just want to give you a safety tip not only do you have to worry about carbon monoxide but you also have to worry about that heater using all your oxygen up make sure you are getting enough fresh air in to replace what is being used by the heater. Be safe out there and God Bless.
Your fun to watch and hear about your love for the life of being in nature. And being alone, never let that be a issue with me either. Yum, enjoy. Can’t wait to see the rest.
Life is to be lived. You are the example and a leader. With all of my heart ❤ I truly hope young people, high schoolers are a large percentage of your audience.
I truck camp with my 2012 Silverado with a rooftop tent over the bed. I'm jealous of your new Anker cooler. I'd love one, but I guess I wouldn't use it enough to justify the cost. I'll have to stick with my 30 year old Igloo plastic cooler for now. Looks like you had fun. I'm looking forward to Spring and some warmer weather here in Maine.
I have been a John Denver fan since age 5. This is my reason to visit Aspen, Colorado, this fall for the John Denver Celebration. Watching videos about Aspen is how I discovered your wonderful channel. ❤
I’m choosing campsite over hotel/motel any day of the week! No people = more peace & more peace = a true vacation and time to reflect on life. Thanks for the midweek video!
Better and more affordable than a motel room. I'm not the biggest fan of John Denver either but I do like folk music, bluegrass, classic rock even some county -western. Thank You for posting your videos. It's nice to take a trip without getting out of my easy chair. Stay Safe!! 🙏👍
I've always camped. Got a beautiful travel trailer and it's much nicer than any hotel!! My Father owned a RV Company so I grew up traveling and racing Bmx. God bless
Cat, the efforts and the professionalism you put into your videos, make them very enjoyable to watch. Thank you for bringing us with you on your journeys.
Neat setup Catherine. Glad your still out there living the dream. Pretty sad some viewers get grumpy over not seeing you for a week or so. You’d think you were working directly for them. Cheeky bunch! Good on ya Catherine!
2 from Cat in a week?!?! Woohoo!!! Someone must have had an extra coffee!! I’ll have to look into that cooler. It looks pretty - - cool.🤦♂️. We love you Cat! Your channel is awesome.👌
Isn't it funny, maybe ironic is more appropriate. I spent two years getting my van fixed up with gear and gadgets. However, I find I just use the basic gear I started with. I love the simplicity of your truck setup. Great video, Catherine.
You're an amazing lady... You live a life that some of us are scared to commit to you. Give me hope every day and thanks for keeping the great videos coming
I have been watching you for years. Every video you create inspires me. I finally became a patron yesterday and am so proud to support your work. One comment you made quite a while ago is you started recording hikes for your mom. That is what I do too. She can't really hike anymore and I try to take her virtually with me on every hike I take. This week I am with her as she has cancer surgery. Praying she comes through entirely cancer free and continues to be the most spry 81 year old lady with a bum knee you've ever seen
Thank You Catherine' Really nice that everything worked out together for the better'! Cool chill camp space' wishing you continued and safest travels and peaceful vibes, and thanks again for great meditative music' as always🎼✨
Thank you for the bonus video. Absolute love your truck camping setup. You manage to make it look and feel warm and cozy inside. Looking forward to Sunday's video!
Hi Catherine I am so Happy you are back on the road safe You might want to try to get a Long stem lighter for your stove so you don't get to close to the flame
You sure inspire a fellow to get back on the road. I Enjoy viewing your channel. My wife is a real trooper who drove thousands of miles across USA up to Canada and back. It’s nice to know she’s not alone:) Drive safe stay safe. R & M
Good for you Cat, having this set up gives you the freedom of pulling up and boondocking whenever possible. You had all that it was needed, the only thing that was missing was a little hike, but keep bringing these types of travel adventures.
I'm camped north of Bend. Cold, windy and wonderful. Sun just went away and it's time for my 60 year old goose down cocoon. Love your vids. Keep up the good work. Keep well. Stay safe.
I have that same utensil organizer thing. I love it. The Anker cooler looks amazing. I have yet to camp in my vehicle. Car camping always meant driving your car to somewhere to set up a tent. Times they are a changing. I’ll try the new version of car (sleeping in your car) camping this season…’only issue, I have a car, not the room you have.
I watched this for the second time and enjoyed it just as much as the first time. You have learned alot since the first trip you made a few years ago but the fresh air has done you good over the years. You look younger now. Keep going
i wasnt a John Denver fan nor a country fan either, i remenber listening to one of his songs "Annie's Song" many years ago , now im older that song is one of my favorites
Nice inspiration!!! I drive a Jeep where I’ve built a sleeping area and kitchen with cabinets! You inspire me to continue my overland travels. So, thank you!!! Travel safe!!!
I love your channel... I also love that you don't do one set of modalities as far as just the camper or just the truck camper or just the truck but you combine these things to show us the versatility of how anyone can camp with whatever they have.... And that makes me so happy because you don't need the perfect thing that you might think in your mind just to get out there and do a little camping, to experience God's beauty... Thank you for that😊
I have a similar setup. My campervan is a standalone rig with everything I need for comfortable overnighting. I use a heater buddy to take the chill off before I rise in the morning. I also have a travel trailer which has amenities the van doesn't offer. So typically I will find a place I want to explore and drop the trailer. Then use the van for close-in travel for exploration. The trailer has built-in heating/AC which is perfect for boondocking.
same here, I have a suburban setup and a 19' travel trailer, I feel free'er going with the suburban only in the rugged roads the beaches and the city when I need to venture out.
Love that cooler. I trucked for many years and then had a cigarette plug in cooler and warmer. It was very handy. One stop was to a Space shuttle landing.
Always nice to get mechanical problems behind you. Your truck/canopy outings are inspiring. Like how simple you've kept everything. We're working on similar setup.
Your set up is very nice, meal looked awesome and as always tastes better outdoors. Yes, I will always prefer to sleep in my own bed. We appreciate you Cat, keep doing your thing.
Thanks Cat 😊 Perfect little road travel and campsite video. That burger looked scrumptious along with your nicely prepared broccoli. Cool how you have your truck camping set up just right. Good Job .... Be Safe and Well
Love the video cat look at you you went from 80,000 to 84. See you’re not gonna lose anybody stay warm we just started getting a snow storm. All the snow was melted here in Michigan at least Alpena Michigan and it looks like we’ve got about 2 inches right now so at least I can get some skiing in before it melts. 😂 😂😂😂😂 ok 👌🏼🔥🤠🔥Camping Russ out
Hi again from down Under Catherine. I reckon this getaway would do you the world of good. Well done, love the setup, simple but cozy. A great savings on motels. I appreciate the extra video, thank you. Safe travels Catherine, looking forward to your next video. Smokey
I enjoyed seeing your functional, pleasant, minimalist setup. That's my favorite style of camping and traveling also. Thanks for your video and best wishes to you!
Looks great! I’m jealous. Just let me highly recommend a patio-door sized bug screen for that back opening. Available at the unnamable online site that delivers everything…I think most styles are typically split in the middle with magnets sewn into the edges that self-close. I use earth magnets from hardware store to secure the bottom edge. It has been a life saver at many sites in the SE! Plus, for anywhere in the country, you can sleep with the doors open and have at least a little material between you and the great outdoors. Great job!
A bonus video for you this week! There will still be a Sunday video, as well. Hi Kimberly. It’s easy to maneuver. :)
I like your blog you’re cool
Love your truck setup. Yes, hotels are super expensive, camping is so much better. Safe travels!
I love to watch you. But I don’t like the baren country. I’m born an live in western Washington. ❤
A long time ago, after 2 weeks travel camping, I remember getting a hotel room as a "reward"... boy was I disappointed! I could not wait to get back out in fresh air and nature! Glad your truck is happy again. We appreciate you, too! 👍🇨🇦😎🎁
Same here! Nothing beats your own setup once you have it the way you like it, even at the price of a few "comforts."
Bonus Day.... HOORAY!!!... Always good!
Way better than a hotel. What great peaceful moments we have to hold now.Thank uou
Thanks for sharing your life. Was so surprised to see your video midweek. Great setup in your truck. Stay well and be safe.

Great story Mark!
It isn't hard to love John Denver
ROCKY MOUNTIN HIGH by John Denver my fave while camping out w/my brother many moons ago
Nice truck set up...way better than a tent, lol...a day in the "woods" beats a week in a motel...thx
You should be in radio; you have such a soothing, beautiful voice.

Neat setup Catherine. Glad your still out there living the dream. Pretty sad some viewers get grumpy over not seeing you for a week or so. You’d think you were working directly for them. Cheeky bunch! Good on ya Catherine!
Nothing better than coffee in the morning - my only vice.
According to the calendar, it’s Spring! Bring on the warmer temperatures. Stay warm and keep on exploring the West. 😎
Nice to see u in the middle of the week - thank you.
2 from Cat in a week?!?! Woohoo!!!
Someone must have had an extra coffee!!
I’ll have to look into that cooler. It looks pretty - - cool.🤦♂️.

I so agree……..a campsite is preferable over a motel any day………even if the weather isn’t the best! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for taking us along on your quick trip! Stay safe!
Yes. If it's a hotel vs. an outdoor site like this one - outdoors wins every time...
I watched this for the second time and enjoyed it just as much as the first time. You have learned alot since the first trip you made a few years ago but the fresh air has done you good over the years. You look younger now. Keep going

Delightful little video ..love the truck..the simplicity of things makes life most treasured
What a pretty lady...thanks for taking us along!
Great call with that A1 sauce!! Getting away to next place to see the great sights nature has to see. Oh what a life it is to be camping in the open.
Love that cooler. I trucked for many years and then had a cigarette plug in cooler and warmer. It was very handy. One stop was to a Space shuttle landing.

Awesome video. For what it’s worth, I enjoy videos about all aspects of life on the road. Also jealous that it’s still snowing out there.

Happy and safe traveling to you Cat! 🕊
Beautiful and peaceful sceneries once again.
Cat I’m really digging the truck camping stuff! I do the same thing when I wanna leave my trailer behind! 😊
That was fun! That’s cool to be able to use the trailer or just the trunk.
Hi again from down Under Catherine. I reckon this getaway would do you the world of good. Well done, love the setup, simple but cozy. A great savings on motels. I appreciate the extra video, thank you. Safe travels Catherine, looking forward to your next video. Smokey
Thanks for sharing your traveling process and your camper setup. I love your independence, it's very encouraging for me!
I enjoyed seeing your functional, pleasant, minimalist setup. That's my favorite style of camping and traveling also. Thanks for your video and best wishes to you!
Still awesome thank you ❤
