How in sinc is the jam is it possible to sinc up multiple speakers with one person connected to one speaker and another connected to another to amplify the sound
They have Had this feature for at least 2 years. Except now they have sort of made it worse. Because now you can only play music through one speaker rather than playing the same songs with your friends on different headphones.
wasn’t this feature in beta for like 3 years now? first it only let you use 1 device with a qr code which didn’t make sense cuz it was during covid and it was for listening together while apart then it was the opposite so if u were with them u would hear it from both devices but got rid of the qr code feature but FINALLY they made it perfect and LET ME CHOOSE
sadly it does not work on desktop and phone/bluetooth crossover. This option on desktop would be really fine, since I hear most of my music at home with good speakers :)
Yes this is possible. I see where you might run into this issue. I just did a test with 2 Spotify accounts on 2 different iOS devices. If someone hasn't updated their Spotify mobile app or hasn't relaunched it a few times since last week when the Jam update came out, then it won't show the new Jam experience. It will work but it shows the old UI for Group Session. Make sure you and your friend have the app updated to the latest version and you should both force quit and restarted the Spotify mobile app a few times so that the new Jam experience will then show up. After you have done that, the device joining the Jam should see a popup menu asking if you want to join on your device (if joining remotely) or on the host's device if you are joining locally in the same room. After you have joined remotely on your own device, you can then use the Connect menu in the Now Playing View screen to change it to play to Bluetooth headphones, local WiFi speaker, or other local devices. You can also try sharing the link to the Jam session using a messaging app. During my testing, I used the link method and that worked for joining remotely. It could be the QR code defaults to joining locally.
It’s cool if it works! Doesn’t work right now for me and my friends though. When you hold your iPhones together it will just share your iPhone contact information
Yes but here is the case when your friend don't have premium they can't listen from their own speakers. If they can only control but can't listen without premium when their in different locations then i think Spotify isn't doing well but only want everyone to forcefully have premium. Its business anyway

This is a terrible feature. There should be an option to permanently disable jams and there isnt, so anyone using spotify on my wifi network can join my "jam" without my permission. That is incredibly intrusive.
@@obscurazone i have 3 roommates, and we all share the same wifi network. That doesn't mean I want them to have permission to join or have access to my spotify . And there should be an option for me to disable it and there's not.
@@futureman7587 I've no idea what you're talking about. What on earth does someone using your WiFi have to do with them accessing your Spotify? Of course they can't, unless you gave them your Spotify credentials to log in. Regarding the Jam function, you have to invite people to join your jam - they can't just jump in randomly, as you're suggesting. Otherwise, whats stopping a neighbour next door jumping on your wifi (if its an open network) and playing tunes via your jam? Do you not think Spotify would know how stupid that would be?
@@obscurazone thats exactly what the jam function does. Anyone using spotify on the same network can join in to anyone else's spotify session, without permission. Hence my original comment.
@@futureman7587 No that isn't how the jam function works in the slightest. You cant/don't just randomly jump onto someone's Jam at all. You have to be invited to join someone's Jam. Period.
