Thanks, after you log out and back in the light beam may lose it’s color and just be white or blue but the backpack and light beam will be there until you pick it up.
ok i have to ask how do you nudge the pieces up and down?? I'm on pc and the nudging only works on a horizontal plane, it wont let me lift the pieces, can this be done as i built half of the beacon but it wouldn't let me build the rest as the pieces wouldn't nudge upwards. help please
Hey, you can’t nudge up and down, only on the X and Y axis. If you need to move up or down then you need to move it by aiming your crosshairs on an adjacent object and moving up and down like I do when I switch over directions. If you need some help let me know and I can drop in to your world and take a look. 😀

I tried, if you die several times in the same session you will get different colors for each backpack, green, purple, blue, but once you leave the game they all turn the same color.
I have different coloured beacons, all you need to do is have one item in your backpack when you respawn of the colour you want. Eg: frost pine for purple. They do revert back to white for the majority of the time when you log back in, but every now and then the colour returns. I made a beacon with all the colours from dropping bags with all the rarities and when the colours work it gives off a rainbow glow

@@GrindGeek my main castle base has the different colours one each tower with a central beacon in the middle which is the combination, it looks amazing when it decides to work
Do you know how to change the color? If you die with only one rarity of let’s say uncommon, it will turn green. But if you leave the area and come back, or leave and rejoin the game it turns right into blue. Do you know how to change that?
Unfortunately no, mine do the same thing. @steezinscribble replied to a comment below that they did some testing on this but most of the time they would turn white/blue once you left the world but sometimes the colour would come back but it doesn’t seem to be consistent. I know, disappointing ☹️ it would be awesome if each village had its own color. 🏳️🌈
@GrundGeek yea I really hope they fix it, having grasslands green, frostlands blue and DryLands yellow fits so well and when it worked before it reset was so awsome
@@GrindGeek Carpe diem. Might give it a try with your design. Funny feeling it's going to be a disaster...and just fly off, topple, or disappear. I did see that people can attach objects to the top of the world, but that's way too high up for this kinda thing.

Yeah, you can flip back and forth and also stick items on the side of things as well, have fun.

what happens after server restart? wil the light effect stay or not?
The light effect will stay but all of mine have turned a blueish color.
Could that work with something floating e.g what you made but with balloons inside? Or, do the balloon objects eventually disappear / float off?
It should work if you put balloons inside, not sure if you can get it to stay upright or if it would just fall over.

If you are on a flat area you can also lay down a small piece of flooring and then push the cube over it. That usually works but needs more space.

Try the balloons, maybe you can float it higher off the ground and spawn inside. I know the backpack will stay in the air.
Or just get a compass
