Funny that the beacon seems to work backwards in Lego Fortnite: it seems to attract mobs! And I’m having the same issues with the build limit, the stamina glitch, the desync glider deaths. I’m so ready for this next update!
I’m glad you have so much enthusiasm for building in this game. It’s been a joy to watch. 😁 If the mobs give you too much annoyance, what about an elevated/suspended pyramid design! 😉😁
I noticed something with the villagers they know where the workstations are, but if there’s a door in the way, they will constantly walk into the door without opening it. Hopefully they fix that patch, where they can actually open the door to get to the workstation.
I highly doubt they are going to add a repair bench. That would ruin the gameplay loop. I think a better solution is a bigger backpack. That way you still need to keep exploring and gathering materials to be efficient.
Seeing as how the lego world, while massive, is actually finite, there will come a time where we'll just run out of those non-respawning resources. I wish they'd make all resources respawn, or at least farmable through some other means, like a recycler for enemy weapons or something.

You can just click “respawn” in the menu to instantly drop your backpack for the beacon. Also, I heard that environmental buildings will respawn back in and potentially cause high complexity when they clash with your builds - beware!
Actually the pre made buildings only come back when you rejoin or go 1000 meters far from them and they only come back for a split second but they do give you the warning tho :(
I use the triple stack foundation and break the bottom one and shove it around bulldozer technique to collect granite. Or there is a lot of it in caves, build stairs above, break, and collect. Bonus you waste no pickaxes on dumb granite, the ROI is terrible plus it's slower. You can shove it across the fields of single rocks to pop them much faster than individual pickups. I don't see the bulldozer thing as a hack or glitch considering the dynamic foundation also bulldozes, but some cheap wood foundations are just easier than flexwood. Stamina bug happens a lot when bunny hopping, and especially if you pop a glider an inch off the ground. You can see it continue to drain and if you interrupt it before it fully empties the bug will cancel. Thus it hit you many many times on this build as climbing up is a bunch of bunny hopping and possibly some microsecond glider deploys.

I built chichen itza last week and also built another 2 pyramids inside of it like real life. My next project is the pyramids of giza in the desert. Also been working on a great wall of China but it's immense.
Kaz, since you built a pyramid with a beacon…. You have to build an Egyptian temple inside! Maybe build the Egyptian god Ra (sun god) on the inside since it has a beacon?
Epic build, iv been enjoying your journey and builds, defiantly inspired some ideas for my world. With the beacons you can have different colours if you die with an item in your backpack. Eg marble will give you a green beacon, knotroot will have a blue beacon. Also you can just stash your relics and starve to place one in a roof
So how many beacons can you have and how far away can you see them? I know there's map markers but sometimes I get turned around when I'm going to a base and things keep attacking me 😅
I am coming from my experience you have to build the workstations inside of the gold square that pops up when you go to build something or the villagers will not work at the station
They really need to give us a functioning map and put the compass in the UI. Navigation is just to clunky. I started to build giant way sign with coordinates, but navigating with a plane is still hell.
Bruh we love the building but make a vid on finding more of the super rare villagers like calamity rustler blackheart crystal polar peely, they all do jobs sooooo much better
Are they going to implement a way the stack materials in You're inventory and chest Automatically in the next update for console. Like I'll have granite. 20 of them in a chest and when I try and put another 20 in the chest. It goes into an empty slot instead of merging in to 40. I can't find any information about this. That's why I ask.😢
So I was thinking of a good video idea. I know people who are like me will watch it, so just like posting a 100 day video do that but 100 irl days in lego fortnite since you're doing a video a day anyway! I really want a super long video myself one that's not super condensed I'll watch every step to every build it could just be little voice Overs even. Idk if I'm weird or if anyone's with me? When I play a game when I'm just relaxing at night and not wanting to play I like to watch people do things in detail to give me ideas on what to do myself I have 3 level 10 villages one in each biome and today I went and made sure resources are stalked up at each one since i want to be ready to do whatever I need to do whenever we finally get an update instead of grinding materials that are already in game and be able to start new content and get the better tools and whatnot but anyway that's just an idea I had when you mentioned another day another upload
Great vid!! FYI - You didn’t have to jump off to kill yourself. You could have just stood on top of the pyramid and went into the menu and respawned. Your backpack would have been centered from the start. And also, for others trying to replicate, make sure you fully empty out your backpack before respawning if you still plan on using your items.

Friendly reminder you can build a ramp over medium boulders, then destroy the ramp and it breaks the boulder for quick granite farming

@SmickyD yes as long as you don't clear everything away, they'll respawn. Just gotta leave the cube for a couple in game days.

I just push a dynamic platform through the granite rocks and also the single loose ones. It makes it into a pick up material.
I use the triple stack foundation and break the bottom one and shove it around bulldozer technique to collect granite. Or there is a lot of it in caves, build stairs above, break, and collect. And they should make that the caves respawn their loot cause it’s the only thing that doesn’t respawn, so ressources are limited right now

I pick up the granite off the ground to save using the pickaxe as much and it's quick and easy to pick up.
