Agree, but I also have to say that my Squier Classic Vibe custom tele baritone isn’t just a high-end baritone, but might be one of the greatest guitars I’ve ever played. I was inspired so much over the last few weeks, me and my band released two new tracks on UA-cam exclusively using my Squier Classic Vibe baritone with everything stock. BLK + WHT- Hit the Wall, and God Forgot (To Save the Queen) Would love to hear what you think!
Being a lefty, it's even worse. At least PRS is supposed to released a lefty 277 this fall but when you want to go beyond 27", you basically HAVE to go custom at this point.
I've been watching your stuff for a few years now but have never really commented -- *man* you're good. Extraordinarily good. All your stuff is top shelf content, and it's awesome to see the tools of your trade. Congrats man!
You can absolutely adjust the height of direct mount pickups. Sometimes you have to use different size pieces of foam under them to keep them stable when raising them up. Or at the worst swap in longer screws. I'd try that before giving up on the factory pickups.
As soon as you started playing I thought, “hmm idk if that midrange characteristic is what he’s looking for.” And the pushed cleans sounded more pushed than usual, I guess possibly because of that boosted midrange? So glad you have this guitar!! It feels right for me to SEE you with that shape so I certainly believe that it feels homey to play.
Always inspiring!!! So glad to see you doing well and continuing your musical journey been here since the early days!! Congratulations on being able to work with an amazing company like MusicMan!
Immediately when you start playing, you know it’s you. Good on ya for creating YOUR SOUND! Thank you for your gifts of tone for all us seekers out here!
I can’t wait to hear this beast with the silos in! Would love to see a video of you wiring in your pickups. Just to see how you do it since you claim to be an amateur at it, yet every time it comes out sounding bonkers 😂 would be cool to see the dragon and wave etch covered pickups in that guitar 😏
I can get the adjust the pickup to stick up just over the 24th fret if I want to ( almost touching the strings) or I can adjust it down right underneath the frets and get the height to level off with the fretboard, not the frets but the fingerboard. I could actually get underneath the fingerboard if I wanted to, but, that's kind of where I have it right now and that's the way I like it at the moment. They use like this dense gray foam underneath the pickup and then direct mount it this allows you to get upward adjustment and downward adjustment
Dude, great guitar, you are making me like those Baritones, and I'm in the middle of the Prog Metal lessons you delivered for Musicisum, and write a couple of riffs inspired, it's working, I need more of these, and please dude, I don't want to be mean, but you need a week of sleep!
This highlights one of my only gripes with EBMM. They won’t do something till an artist requests it. They don’t even know what kind of market is waiting for them. With that said, I really really love their guitars. I have one myself, and I enjoy way more than I enjoyed a PRS I used to own.
I actually commented in another video asking what that awesome looking baritone was. Don't know how I missed this video! That shape with the silverburst and long neck just looks so cool. Nice to see something a bit more unique, but MM have still managed to make it understated & classy. I'm guessing you have swapped out the pickups for your Silos now as it sounded a lot chunkier in your more recent video with it. I got something with a similar vibe recently myself...a Legator OT7T. Kind of a mix between offset & Tele shape...not the kind of thing I'd usually go for, I usually head straight for a super Strat but something just drew me in to that weird (in a good way!) shape. My first baritone but as the neck is ultra-slim it still felt really comfy for me (not your kind of vibe as I understand it). Plus a Gotoh trem to boot...definitely fun to play with on a low tuned 7 string. I've come up with a riff on it that takes some inspiration from those extended drop tuning chords you do...like when you add in a major interval to a drop tuning powerchord. Hopefully will get it recorded soon!
Fluff is the reason I wanted an axis ss baritone too!! I was lucky enough to stumble across a surprisingly good deal for one of the 60 starry-night units on reverb brand new🤤. It's my desert island pick for sure. I do wish I had the flamed neck like yours though. So awesome!!
I am going to make Rabea a guitar. Its gonna be 2x3 pine with a $4 chinesium humbucker nailed to it, a jack and ground wire, and 3 strings tuned to: tight, snug, and sloppy. Bet he can get a kickass sound out of it.
So few people check the fact that the guitar be balanced, great you think to mention it. So many custom builders never checking it. Lovely guitar, for sure.😍
Unfortunately I am not on Telegram, living on the far side of the numerical forest, a place with reduced presence of social networks and disruptive things ;) I keep only YT, FB and some secondary music only forums, having left under my wheels years ago the poor bird transformed in X by Dr E. FrankMusk. But thank you.
Those custom DiMarzios created for EVH 30 plus years ago sound amazing on that Baritone... I love those pickups but didn't know how they would fair but dang they sound great, I wouldn't swap them! (probably too late at this point though since the video has been out a year).
EBMM has never caught my eye too, too much as I’m a pointy shape guy. But this makes me want one. Been a fan for quite some time, since the early Chapman days. You ripping one makes me want one. I won’t/can’t, outside my budget haha. But you get what I mean.
All these guitars are sick - hope 1. this becomes a production model & 2.The production models come with bareknuckle silos! but even if they dont you deserve it man love your tones carry on being you, your awesome.
Hey Rabea as far as your pickup height adjustments go, I don't know if you know this? But my guitar has direct amounted pickups It's a schechter C1 SLS elite. And anyway, it comes from the factory with some type of foam with one side of double-sided tape or whatever underneath it and this allows you to get adjustments up and down
Music Man make some sick gear, made even more incredible by your fantastic skills, I just really struggle with that squished headstock! Just personal taste I know, I just find it a really odd shape considering the rest of the instrument.
Great guitar, great guitarist and great tones. In the final part of more playing it reminded me a lot of tones that Mikael Akerdfelt and Adam Jones could make, and I thought it would be incredible if you could make a video trying to recreate tones like in Opeth's damnation or even, although it is not the same to see yourself playing Shine on You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd, I think it could be incredible. Greetings and thank you very much
I guess you can adjust the pickups. There should be a foam underneath the pickups. So you just screw the pickup more up and within an hour the foam expands and pushes against the pickup again. And if that's not the case, then that's the solution. Get some foam, put it under the pickup. The screws should be long enough
Ever since Aaron Fink of Breaking Benjamin showed off his white axis supersport a fair few years back, I’ve been waiting for EB to start offering baritones. I hope it catches on; us baritone players need more options in the higher end.
Completely despite you crankin' the high-gain you're normally known for, this instrument never stopped sounding like a true baritone guitar, and NOT like just a run-of-the-mill regular guitar that's just been tuned down.
Just wow! Nice guitars and the baritone sounds killer! If you playing guitar, I can sit here for hours and time doesn't matter. Waiting for your new album... 🤘
It’s actually not bad at all! I balanced it on my lap in the video somewhere - it did dip a bit but actually nowhere near as much as I expected. Still managed to sit on my lap without diving
Anyone wanna hear a couple songs exclusively using a baritone? Used a Squier Classic Vibe baritone with everything stock. BLK + WHT- Hit the Wall BLK + WHT- God Forgot (To Save the Queen)
That's a killer axe. It sounds pretty good with the stock pickups, but I'm really looking forward to hearing it with the Silos. The Axis pickups lack that sparkle and amazing clarity that I love about your Chapman baritone's sound, and I hope that the Music Man baritone will do the same with a pickup swap.
This should be a production model. There is a serious lack of high-end baritones in the guitar market.
Agree, but I also have to say that my Squier Classic Vibe custom tele baritone isn’t just a high-end baritone, but might be one of the greatest guitars I’ve ever played.

@@clipfishcarsten I feel you my Lefty brother. It's a curse at times for us southpaws
Reverend makes a fantastic baritone.
There was a starry night finish for sale on sweet water but it sold. They’ll probably pop up just keep your eyes peeling and have 3 grand ready lol
Dude, even your noodling around sounds like a fully composed song. Much respect!
I know it's just the light reflecting, but it's turning the finish into a silvery purple which looks incredible. Stunning tones as always.
Dayuuuuuum 🤩🤩😍😍😍🤘🤘come on MusicMan make this a production model, there is real need for this on the market
I've been watching your stuff for a few years now but have never really commented -- *man* you're good. Extraordinarily good. All your stuff is top shelf content, and it's awesome to see the tools of your trade.

Exactly!!
I absolutely love a 6 string baritone. Not just for the obvious heavy stuff. They are so versatile.
Some of the tunes in this are just absolutely chunk thick and SO Toska reminiscent man, made my day. Cheers.
Love seeing more artists bite off on these Axis baritones. Aaron Fink of BB was such an underrated trendsetter.
Darn, I love baritone guitars. And I always enjoy Rabea’s playing. So this is… lovely!
Congratz Rabea! U deserved every success that comes to U, Keep doing your music endeavor & we will keep on checking it out!
As soon as you started playing I thought, “hmm idk if that midrange characteristic is what he’s looking for.”
And the pushed cleans sounded more pushed than usual, I guess possibly because of that boosted midrange?
So glad you have this guitar!!
It feels right for me to SEE you with that shape so I certainly believe that it feels homey to play.
It's interesting how small the Axis bodyshape looks with the baritone neck, but it works so well. It's like a Lollipop.
😂😂
It's SO great hearing you do demos with your amps again!
We need a Sterling baritone signature of yours next!
Hopefully some Sterling models too?!🤞
Always inspiring!!! So glad to see you doing well and continuing your musical journey been here since the early days!! Congratulations on being able to work with an amazing company like MusicMan!
I see Rabea + MusicMan + Baritone = I click
No doubt
Me too... I just need a bank balance to support me buying his signature guitars!
I see Rabea + any title = I click
@@korayem 100%
That guitar is a keeper. Pickups sound great...so raw.
18:22-18:23 transition feels like a thunderstorm. So rad.
MM delivers again! I feel that their guitar are one of the best underrated on the market.
man I can listen to you playing for hours. congrats for this new guitar
Immediately when you start playing, you know it’s you. Good on ya for creating YOUR SOUND! Thank you for your gifts of tone for all us seekers out here!
Music Man makes some of the best guitars…congratulations on the endorsement

This is actually the first time I'm really hyped to get a baritone. Love the tones and awesome playing as always!

Badass man, I'd love Music Man one day 🔥
UGHHHH what a beauty sounds incredible wanted a barritone for ages
Now you just need to convince them to do a sterling version so we can finally afford a cool bartione! Theres so few good options out there!
Your ambient loop pedal noodle jams are sensational. I could have a whole album to that shit man. Beautiful stuff
Awesome guitar + the look of the videos in the new space are really coming together. Looks awesome!
Sounds immense Bea! Can't wait to hear the Silos loaded up :)
So few people check the fact that the guitar be balanced, great you think to mention it.

Totemist becomes Turtle Mist in captions. Another nice name for a band. Rock on

dude that looks AMAZING. so rad.
Beautiful Guitar Bea and stunning finish!
Are you using the standard Kraken over the Super K now?
Super nice guitar Dude! Happy for you!
I really think the Axis shape fits you and your style perfectly! Specially since yours previous signature was a Tele shaped one.
EBMM has never caught my eye too, too much as I’m a pointy shape guy. But this makes me want one. Been a fan for quite some time, since the early Chapman days. You ripping one makes me want one. I won’t/can’t, outside my budget haha. But you get what I mean.
Man's on a silverburst kick! Looks so sick!
Awesome buddy glad you like it, love your playing keep up the good work
That shirt in the background is killer!
Sweet! I'd love to hear you messing around with that and your Archetype plugin too.
Man, love the tone on that thing.
That sounds epic! I need to build a baritone...
So well deserved! Looks killer man!!
I can listen to you all day
Great guitar !!! Nice review and playing
I love that headstock so much better than the Chapman one. Congrats Bea.
All these guitars are sick - hope 1. this becomes a production model & 2.The production models come with bareknuckle silos!
but even if they dont you deserve it man love your tones carry on being you, your awesome.
Oh yeah, that thing is killer. Sounds damn good to me. I use pen springs behind direct mount pups so you can adjust them. Cheap fix.

I think this is the coolest one so far.

GREAT tones!!!
Would love a comparison of these pick ups and the silos after you changed them.
OMG That background music!
A beautiful beast!
Beautiful in every single way! I want one 😂

I really wish they would do a stripped down sterling version of this, I’d jump right on that!
Bea It sounds great as is. Id leave this monster and ask for a second for the silos swap.
Great video Bea! The question is do I really need a Baritone?
almost 25 minutes of juicy goodness. everytime. its a good day when Rabea drops a banger flick!
Also awesome playing as usual brotha 👍

I was surprised to discover that a lot of guitarists back in the day played baritones on tracks that couldn't be farther from metal or hard rock.
Score man! well done
Love the guitar...and the sneakers!
Just wow! Nice guitars and the baritone sounds killer! If you playing guitar, I can sit here for hours and time doesn't matter. Waiting for your new album... 🤘
That thing is beautiful 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Awesome 🤘💪🏻🎸 don’t forget us lefty’s 🍻😎
I think it's great that MusicMan are thinking outside the box of "band guitarists" and considering well known UA-cam guitarists.
Neck dive ? looks neck heavy compared to body, especially with the added length.
It’s actually not bad at all! I balanced it on my lap in the video somewhere - it did dip a bit but actually nowhere near as much as I expected. Still managed to sit on my lap without diving
Bea, give them a nudge to re-releass these beautiful beasts, there's a market for them!
The fact that this is not a production model still has me shocked. The dormant demand for this guitar is insane
Oh man, someone was just asking for something like this in a 7 string. People would buy the hell out of a EBMM 7 string bari.
Is this going to be a production model? Would love to get my mits on this beauty 😍
How far along are your Sterling models?
Looking forward to hearing this with Silo pups in there. The EBMM pups sound chewy to my ear.
Anyone wanna hear a couple songs exclusively using a baritone?
Used a Squier Classic Vibe baritone with everything stock.
BLK + WHT- Hit the Wall
BLK + WHT- God Forgot (To Save the Queen)
There needs to be a baritone only project with you and Fluff. Heavy riffs and ambience.
Fluff fell off
i thought John Petrucci also have some MM baritone guitars when he play songs like Wither, These Walls, Panic Attack?
I love the fact you dont do Clickbait. However, I see your video, I click immediately.
10:29 What effects do you use?
nice! is it neck divey?
It sounds good but is there something weird with the stereo image on the chug bit? Sounds off.
I think I hit my preamp too hard hahaha - i think maybe it bottomed out
Sitting here watching this while wearing ur t-shirt 👍😆
Thank you so much! 🙏
love that
