    Im a coach and I want to incorporate more of these type drills in my regiment. How often do you do these drills and for how long? What age do the kids usually start these types of drills?

    hmmm how much would trainning be ? i live in gilmer tx 5ft 8 180 pretty good off the dribble but i really dont know how to improve my laterial quickness or my first step?

    @axelspeaks I play basketball 100% but soccer is also a veryyyyy intense sport, especially if your defensive pushh. You run a lot moree. But because im a bball player, bball is the most intensive xD

    But those drills won´t really make you alot faster perfomed this way, if you want to become more explosive you gotta have long braeks, as an easy rule you can say for 10 meter spriting you gotta have one minute of break, you become faster by being not exhausted at all and giving the maximum for a short duration, than you need a break to really calm entirly down.

    Basketball and cardio intense? Basketball is like the least cardio dependant and most on speed/explosiveness dependant ball sport. Soccer is cardi odependant.
