- Are you not sure where to start with the upgrades on your MK8 Golf R? The first place to start could be by getting rid of the factory plastic engine bay caps and upgrading them to the RacingLine billet caps, then even opting to remove the annoying OE manual bonnet strut and upgrading it to a RacingLine gas strut, similar tot he MK7R!

Nice upgrades!
Hopefully that cheap and nasty engine cover will be ditched next 🤞
VW expedited that for us and already issued a recall!
Thank you! We would love a nice carbon piece
@@RegalAutosport You guys should try the Forge carbon fibre engine cover - lovely bit of kit 👍🏼
Carbon engine cover will looks perfect 👍🏻

Does the dip stick fit on Audi A3 ?
I already got a Leyo Motorsport set, however, I don't have the oil cap and the brake fluid caps couldn't fit in because my struct bar blocked the room to replace the cap.
It should!
ah rip me I didn't remove the old mounting point before installing the strut oh well lol
Not ideal!
do these modifications effect the manufacturer's warranty .
With warranty questions its always best to direct them at the warranty provider
Why did you use Loctite 270 when racingline actually specify 2422. I can’t even get 2422 in Australia so Loctite recommend 272 as its high temp
For sure if you want to do it by the book then use 2422, we've used 270 in its place on this car and it worked well :)
Can I ask what torque did u set the wheel studs to?
I believe the instructions say 140nm
What size rims and tires did you put on that R?
