Good content guys - thank you. I am always interested in the actual difference that upgraded components make. Much better than "it should produce more power, or it will handle better". The quantitative comparisons will be good to see.

We need these remaps mate - when will they be ready? Will u be able to add drift mode?
No idea, once someone will be able to tune them everyone will. Drift mode I'd imagine is a coding thing, I haven't looked into it myself.
Golf hasn't been cracked yet afaik
one day must do a comparison of the Continental turbo vs the IS38, and whether the MK8 can accept hybrid IS38 turbos, albeit with some modifications.
That would be interesting! We haven't looked at that at all as of yet.
Are you installing or installed a front roll center camber correction kit since you installed the Racingline lowering springs? Or is a roll center kit not needed since the ride height is only lowered 20mm to 25mm?
We do not intend to do that, perhaps later along down the line we will fit the Verkline subframe which has adjustable roll centre with the arms.

Coming soon! We've had some staff with COVID as well as timelines moved with customer builds and ultimately our own cars get cut before customers!
Isn’t that an eventuri carbon intake kit?? Why would you still want to swap it out for a R600??
So we can test out the R600 to give a proper opinion to customers :)

Hey Mike! Congrats! Have a chat with your warranty provider and see what they say about some of the mods you would like to do. You might be surprised with their answer!
You didn't get their best parts, their big brake kits! Would love to see them. Used to have them on my mk7 R.

Spending 40k on a new Golf R then another 15k on upgrading the car sounds a bit expensive to me, might as well buy a more powerful sporty car... Porsche for a start.

@@RegalAutosport looking for 1 now. Not sure on a 997 or 991.2. the residual value on 997 are stronger now than year ago. Don't get me wrong I have had 7 Golf's over the years from a mk 1 GTI to g60 and the lastest GTE. So I am a golf lover, but are they worth 40k?
You think thats bad, right now in South Africa dealers have lost their minds charging the equivalent of £50 000 for a Golf 8 GTI!🙄
