I'm 73 and will never be able to walk the steps you were able to walk. My interest in history like this runs deep. Thank you for letting me see it through your camera. 31:08

Howdy Jack, going to start my day with your video.... Thanks for the share.... Stay safe, cool and free 🤠👊👍 Imagine the beehive of activity that went on there around the turn of the century in its remote location. Had to have been awesome to see

Another fine video you're doing a fine job of documenting these mining and or homesteads that have been lost to most of us. Your videos capture so much history of the rugged people that lived there and worked those mines. It's hard work now but imagine how hard it was then. Looking forward to your next down the trail adventure.

Thank you Charles, really great to hear from you. intriguing thoughts as well.. It really is crazy in a good way what this site and so many others tell us. it’s really inspiring and insightful to the human condition on a lot of different levels. Make you wonder how much and how fast realistically things can change in a matter of 100 years or a lifetime. A very provoking rabbit hole, I also tend to fall into.. Thank you, Hope you had a great 4th and weekend🤠

I HAVE WORKED IN THE INDUSTRY. IT'S GOOD TO LISTEN TO YOUR OBSERVATIONS.
DANGEROUS FLOORS, HOW THINGS WORKED, THE ECONOMICS INVOLVED.
WE WITH THE OPPOSED THUMB HAVE COME A LONG, LONG WAY, A LITTLE BIT AT
A TIME. OBSERVATION, DISCOVERY, A LITTLE COPPER IN THE ASHES OF YESTERDAYS
COLD FIRE. WE STAND ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS. ... THANK YOU FRIEND. ...

Just watched your video remind me of California. Both of my great grandfathers were in the California Gold Rush. One of them was a judge in Mexico and left his job for gold. They were both born in Spain. One was Garcia, and the other one was Cervantes, I don't think think they knew each other, but who knows.
They both became rich, but during the Mexican revolution, they lost a lot of it because the Mexican currency had changed.
Thank you for your video... Gary

so interesting..The journey these gentleman went through. love hearing these stories from family members! thank you for sharing.. It’s fascinating how in the moment these fine folks had no idea they were building the foundations for future generations to come and providing us with insight, information and inspiration. To be a fly on the wall..what a great generation..So important we continue to share these stories and ideals and protect our shared history.. Thank you for sharing again and see you on the next one partner 👍

Thanks for sharing the video jacket was pretty cool. A couple of ideas for future videos. It would be awesome if you would slow down just a little bit I'm okay with a longer video personally I don't know about other people but I like to see more detail. Also think about as you were discussing the folks that live there before what do you need to live.? You need water you need some source of warmth at a minimum to cook with, food supply. It would be really interesting to know if there was a well in the area. Things like the gas line in the assayer office is a clue to the age of the site as well where did the gas come from? Just some thoughts to make your content a little more fun and interesting keep it up Nice work thanks again.

@ 8:28... That's 31 feet. Those core samples were from 14' to 31'... The one above it is 31' to 46'. Not trying to critique... but those aren't dates

No appreciate it, haven’t worked earth or mined yet but enjoy the study and learning. Plumber by trade. Boxes looked old and the wood case struck me as a more proper old school method thought it corresponded with dates on prospects. Thank man👍

They should have made the mill into a museum and gift shop then have a few extra shops open people buy souvenirs and they like to eat as we arc…
