Please, before you read this: Do NOT add all of these to the same deck - Just pick what works best for your deck! Additional cards to keep in mind if you want to run a Watt deck: - Recycling Batteries: Lets you grab 2 thunder monsters from the GY with 1500 or less attack each. A great fit for Watts given their low attack. You can grab destroyed dragonflies to get more summons later or tuners you want back in the hand. - Luminous Spark: Field spell that gives your light monsters a 500 attack boost for a drop in defense. Given that wattcastle's effect is kind of mid, this is a nice alternative. - Thunder Dragon Discharge: Thunder monsters cannot have their effects negated. You'd typically run this in combination with a thunder dragon + watt deck, but running 1 copy by itself never hurts. Also useful to protect against Ash Blossom when using cobra's effect. - One for One: If you have a grasshopper, another monster, and this in hand, you instantly get the grasshopper lock. Simple, but effective. - Some Summer Summoner: Discard one to special any thunder monster that isn't a link? Say less. Also leads to grasshopper lock if you accidentally milled or couldn't get both on the field at the same time. - The Ascended of Thunder: A quick and easy beater to help protect yourself while staying on-theme. Pair with wattcube for a good beater and you can heal back for more that it costs if destroyed. If you run Watticine, it can easily pay for the summon effect if you don't get the destruction effect. - Vylon Prism: A lv 4 tuner that, for 500 LP, can give any of your monsters a 1k attack boost during the damage step. Excellent to pair with synchros and stays on-theme. Slap it on a direct-attacking watt to whittle the opponent faster or Wattaildragon to make the beater even more difficult to overcome. Pair any of these with the grasshopper lock and you'll find an easy win.
They could make a WATT field spell that when it’s on the field all WATT monsters gain double atk and def from but the opponent takes half the battle damage from a WATT monster

Rua and by extension, Watts and Morphtronics, have a special place in my heart. I watched 5ds when I was about the twins' age and I related to him trying his damnedest to prove himself to those around him while being the youngest and non-impressive person in the group. Dude lost almost all his battles in the series but still kept going. I'm so glad his legacy supports for both archetypes are good. The new support can't come sooner!
Here's my silly tech pick: Thunder Dragons' Hundred Thunders Here's the plan, if you have kingdom you can use it to summon dragonfly, crash it to summon another and keep doing it until all 3 are in grave, then summon cobra and do the taurus line but ending in hydra instead of chimera, attack with said hydra, banish thunder dragondark, search hundred thunders and set it in mp2. On your opponent's draw phase, activate hundred thunders to revive all 3 dragonflies that are now in your grave, which will apply the kingdom lock to all columns.
That Thunder Dragon trap card is way too funny to summon 3 Morphtronic Radion. Their attack boost stack A LOT, if I'm not mistaken you get 3 3400 attack walls

Really enjoy using a Watts deck, and those new cards look like great additions! I've had some great duels using this deck. I originally made a deck based around direct attacks, which included the 3 level 4 monsters, and built this one afterwards. Wattlemur can be a good defense, and i really love the artwork for WattCobra. It feels like the perfect blend of modern and old school Yu-gi-oh art styles.
Zap Mustung is a very funny tech card. You have to special summon it, but it has on special summon condition, but you can use ties of the brethren on any lv4 watt. Then it only let's you and your opponent to special summon up to the number of attacks you had in the battle phase and since we need to attacks to achieved our effects we are practically unaffected and your opponent can't special someone. And you can play cards that don't let your opponents to attacks so you can completely lock them
there use to be a realy weird loop with spell absorb and wattcine where if you atacked with watcine and absorb, youd gain lp, then trigger absorb then gain lp then trigger absorb and so on
I'm not normally one for stun-like decks, but this honestly seems really funny, enough that if it comes to Master Duel I might try to play them Edit: almost forgot, SoRL feels like a very obvious choice, not having any destruction effects that completely depend on battle+ everyone being a tad squishy. 3 turns to set up a board unless they remove it, which can go from taking only a single card to a whole alternative combo to do

Now if it was Mathunder, that sounds better. Most of the Elec monsters already had clever names, like Eleckirin, Eleckitsune, Eleckingcobra, Eleckiwi, Eleckiji, Elecastle, Elecannon, Elecancel, and so on.

I have never heard of a single instance of Watts doing anything relevant. Other than maybe degenerate Giraffe locks. Also, I made the comparison since both decks are almost entirely Battle Phase oriented. That's literally the only thing they have in common.

Comparing Watts to War Rocks is an insult to Watts. At least Watts had some impact on the game. While War Rocks were a total dud.
I have never heard of a single instance of Watts doing anything relevant. Other than maybe degenerate Giraffe locks.
Also, I made the comparison since both decks are almost entirely Battle Phase oriented. That's literally the only thing they have in common.
