I began writing my MP's in early September of 2014. Approaching a two year milestone here, I decided to watch the video again, and this time to comment as well. I have written my MP's every day for over seven hundred days, and it has literally changed my life. Thank you so much, keep writing!
This is such a fantastic idea! I feel guilty about not writing anymore, when my one true goal in life is to write. This will hopefully give me the kickstart I need.
I've been writing my morning pages at 750words.com since Feb. 1, 2014 and have missed only three days (currently on a 220 day streak). I average 1,000 or more words when time allows, but even 750 is a gold mine when practiced daily. It's cleared my thinking, boosted creativity, and writing daily is no longer an obstacle to overcome but a proud joy. I'd encourage anyone that wants to write better to write daily in this manner. It's rewarding!
I was always fond of writing in little notebooks/journals ever since I was a kid. I've made a habit to always keep a journal with me and write on it as regularly as possible. But recently I've noticed that I haven't written in literally months because I always felt like I had nothing interesting to say about my life. After watching this, I felt so motivated and inspired to write everyday. Thanks so much for making this video! You're lovely~

Lavendaire it is therapeutic! i wrote a lot today, way more than I expected. Even though I kept jumping from topic to topic. I usually just write about a specific happening/topic or whenever I feel that need to, but this time I just kept writing and writing. I hope to keep this up since I really do love writing for my own good. And thanks so much for the inspiration! I've been obsessed with your videos lately haha, they really help out a lot ^^

Tiana c Hi,I know it's a little too late to say this but writing morning pages will caught your mind off guard,as it energizes and clears your mind for the rest of the day.Meanwhile evening pages will only make you record what you have already done,you can do both of them but I really suggest Morning pages.
@@axelvaldemosa936 it's true that catching your mind off guard is beneficial for the exercise. I've done them for a few days now and I feel I am more productive during the day. It's nice to have some sort of morning practice. As for just writing about the day I've already had...at night, I think I would lean towards writing about the "tomorrow" I'm going to (try to) have. So far, my morning pages have really only been about the unpleasant "yesterdays" I've already had. 😂
I have tried this just now, and OMG, just in this one session I had an amazing idea! And I feel so much better now! Thank you Aileen! Look forward to picking out a notebook for my morning pages☺👍
Just started this a week ago. With everything going on right now my anxiety was taking over. I've had an instant impact since starting these, it's like it's refined my thinking. I'll be continuing and hopefully the results keep coming.

I had been doing this before I watched your videos, and now I look back I really do see a link between when I stopped writing my stream of consciousness thingys and my mental health dip. Thank you so much for this video! I'm gonna start again tomorrow. I would recommend to any who may struggle with these to type them, especially if they're a fast typer. For me, I'm a fast typer so I find it much easier to type my thoughts without any filter through typing. I love your videos so much thank you, you have literally changed my life.
I did morning pages in November last year, and I picked it back up in August. 😊 I've been doing morning pages for two months now, and this video also inspired me to start a collection of composition notebooks for my morning pages after my current notebook is full. 😊 I only have about 14 pages to go until I start my new notebook. 🙂
All of your videos are so motivating!! Many youtuber just do a video on things that don't really matter. But your videos are motivating, and encourage strong mental and physical health.
Before seeing this video, I decided that one of my 2017 resoltutions is to journal every morning but I'm doing it a little different. I'm not writing three pages. I'm doing write my daily affirmation, and at the end of the day I'll write in something positive that happened that day and what I'm grateful for. It will be a great positive start and end to my day.
So I saw this vid about two days back and I actually did it. Two days in and I’m already reaping the benefits. Everything you said in the video is true! It has helped me feel lighter and unburdened with my thoughts. It has also helped me truly be self-aware and understand the deeper thoughts and wants within me. Thank you so much! Erica Lynn I like that idea too - to recycle them away. But I like to keep my notebooks just cause it's nice to look back and see where my mind used to be during different stages of my life.

I've been writing for 4 years and it's so addicting. The journal becomes your best friend. Sometimes I drop what I'm doing so I can go write lol I spiced it up too with leather journals and fountain pens! It's so good 😊 When I get stuck, I literally write stuff like "oh I am so stuck lol", "dear journal I am literally staring at you. Don't you feel awkward?", "yep I hit a wall, oh what I hit a page!" and the madness goes on and on 🤣

I just popped back to watch this again. I've taken to morning pages after watching your video (and have heard of others doing this). I've used it mainly to keep focused on working towards my goals each day and it's really helped. I feel like this is much more effective than writing diaries at night time. When I write before I sleep, I feel like i never end up doing the things I wrote about the next day and it just makes me feel 'good' to write things down and reflect upon, but at the end i never get any use out of it. Thank you for introducing this to me! :)
ill have to try it. even when i work at 6 in morning and i have hard times with gratitude journaling because getting up soooo early i could at that times try to write those 3 pages before sleep. ❤💚 THANK YOU for this helping us ! 💪
I started morning pages a week ago and it's made such a difference! I've never got along with journaling but this really works for me and it leaves me feeling much clearer and much less stressed. I've been surprised at what comes out! Loving it as my new morning practice. I'm curious about the book you complete after your morning pages tho, is there a link to it please?
Morning pages really help a lot. I'm so glad I discovered this method a few months ago. I even bought a dedicated journal on amazon, beautiful with pastel hearts
It's a good way to reflect myself. I almost always say I don't have enough time to write diary. Don't speak louder than action!!!. thanks for sharing your good idea! :)
When I was 13 years old, I started writing inside my dreams journal and felt better after my dreams ended. Until I was in sophomore year, I decided to write about life from 2015 through 2017 and was really enjoyed to remember my old stories in high school and outside of my schools. I had been writing my journals for six years, and was like ," Oh, boy... I'm not ready to move on, but it's really important to remember our childhood story. I wrote each 4 pages with a visual pictures about my old and new days because I want to speak and write my second language in English from ASL ( American Sign Language ) and want to tell my old stories to my future children. I bet my future children would love to listen my old stories during each nights... :) +Lavendaire

I must add that this idea came from the book by Julia Cameron called the Artist's Way. Julia invented and explains the morning pages as a way for creative (read all humans) people to find their art again (read joy of living) or discover their art after a period of being blocked. Well worth the read as it has so much wisdom inside.
I use to do this. I used composition notebooks also. I need to start doing it again. I tried using my phone and laptop to do this but it's not the same as writing. There is something about writing that seems more satisfying...may be it's more artistic?
+Myriam Nie I couldn't do it for an entire month sadly.. (Im doing an internship and I start at 5 am ^^') I did 17 entire days and I found it amazing! I really felt more posotive, creative and confident :) you should do it!
I love morning pages! Mel Robbins calls this “brain dump”. It’s the same thing, just a different name. I’ve uncovered a lot of internal feelings, thoughts, dreams, etc. just by using this one daily habit. Thx for your video!

I absolutely love it and it’s my favourite part of the day.. it feels so good to admit things in a book that you couldn’t admit in front of yourself let alone others. I know your method via my friend blog. Morning pages journal like meditation in writing :). I combine your method with 20/20/20 rules of Robin Sharma 20 for Yoga, 20 for Morning Pages Journal and last 20 for learn something new like your channel :). Nice to meet you.

I stumbled upon your videos, and I love them. I make similar type of videos, and am always looking to connect with others who are passionately inspiring the world as they inspire themselves. I do morning pages as well, its a great way to build a writing practice, and get to know the thoughts that occupy your space. Most of us rethink and think the same thoughts over and over again, and when you know what you are thinking, then you can change your thoughts to ones that are serving to you! Everything begins with a thought. xx

I feel like this is much more effective than writing diaries at night time. When I write before I sleep, I feel like i never end up doing the things I wrote about the next day and it just makes me feel 'good' to write things down and reflect upon, but at the end i never get any use out of it. Thank you for introducing this to me! :)
ill have to try it. even when i work at 6 in morning and i have hard times with gratitude journaling because getting up soooo early i could at that times try to write those 3 pages before sleep. ❤💚 THANK YOU for this helping us ! 💪

I started morning pages a week ago and it's made such a difference! I've never got along with journaling but this really works for me and it leaves me feeling much clearer and much less stressed. I've been surprised at what comes out! Loving it as my new morning practice. I'm curious about the book you complete after your morning pages tho, is there a link to it please?

Morning pages really help a lot. I'm so glad I discovered this method a few months ago. I even bought a dedicated journal on amazon, beautiful with pastel hearts

When I was 13 years old, I started writing inside my dreams journal and felt better after my dreams ended. Until I was in sophomore year, I decided to write about life from 2015 through 2017 and was really enjoyed to remember my old stories in high school and outside of my schools. I had been writing my journals for six years, and was like ," Oh, boy... I'm not ready to move on, but it's really important to remember our childhood story. I wrote each 4 pages with a visual pictures about my old and new days because I want to speak and write my second language in English from ASL ( American Sign Language ) and want to tell my old stories to my future children. I bet my future children would love to listen my old stories during each nights... :) +Lavendaire

I must add that this idea came from the book by Julia Cameron called the Artist's Way. Julia invented and explains the morning pages as a way for creative (read all humans) people to find their art again (read joy of living) or discover their art after a period of being blocked. Well worth the read as it has so much wisdom inside.
I use to do this. I used composition notebooks also. I need to start doing it again. I tried using my phone and laptop to do this but it's not the same as writing. There is something about writing that seems more satisfying...may be it's more artistic?

I love morning pages! Mel Robbins calls this “brain dump”. It’s the same thing, just a different name. I’ve uncovered a lot of internal feelings, thoughts, dreams, etc. just by using this one daily habit. Thx for your video!

I absolutely love it and it’s my favourite part of the day.. it feels so good to admit things in a book that you couldn’t admit in front of yourself let alone others. I can find privacy to write in my journal without anyone hovering over me only if I wake up early in the morning so it also motivates me to wake up early every single day.. You are the best ❤️

I know your method via my friend blog. Morning pages journal like meditation in writing :). I combine your method with 20/20/20 rules of Robin Sharma 20 for Yoga, 20 for Morning Pages Journal and last 20 for learn something new like your channel :). Nice to meet you.

I do morning pages as well, its a great way to build a writing practice, and get to know the thoughts that occupy your space. Most of us rethink and think the same thoughts over and over again, and when you know what you are thinking, then you can change your thoughts to ones that are serving to you! Everything begins with a thought. xx

I love this! Online writing is so different than actual writing. Since actual writing is a lot slower, you get to think deeply about your word choice, sentence structure, and all sorts of other nuances that get lost in online writing. Get it aileenwithit.
