I do appreciate it’s a difficult job, and kudos to the translators. They are doing an awesome job. Sometimes the sentences are too long to read and they have been able to shorten it that we can read comfortably.
She is furious. She said it all in a matter of minutes. Basically” I loved you, yes I deceived you but I came back again and again. You left me and said you’ll never trust me”. Wow. I was always on Defne side because she was so scared to tell him and she didn’t know how to fix this game his aunt schemed up. So she did stupid things to pay back the debt and did what she did out of love.
They were both played with by his Aunt, Serder was the reason she took that money. Everyone should’ve just left them alone. They fell in love deeply with each other, on their own, that game was cruel but Defne was unaware how these people, wealthy people will do for money.
I love the passion that omer has for defne and i am so glad that she isnt backing down. The speech where she said she had just started to rebuild her life and feel whole again and then he came back, that broke me. you could see how much pain she was in. I love Sinan he is the purest soul. I do wish we knew more what happened with him and Yazmin as I liked her character at the end and what happened to Sude and Tramba. Season 1 is brilliant but season 2 is epic. This is my fourth time watching this and I still notice new things I never noticed before.
It is so sad when you see Omer have the realization that he has no say in Defne’s life anymore. Omer gave up that right when he left her and fled Turkey. Good for Defne for standing her ground with Omer and calmly told him it was none of his business.
In what world will a man dump you at the alter leaving you desolate and devastated and then one year later when he realizes that it was his pride that stood in the way of his love for you, he decides to come back and then expects you to waltz back into his arms like he didn’t destroy your very soul that you are trying to repair again. I love the role of PAMIR in playing this season , he needs to make OMER know that he just can’t say she is mine like she is a piece of clothing he can pick up whenever and dump when he doesn’t suit his moral standard. DEPHNE outpouring of anger on him was so good to watch sadly that was the reaction I wanted 10 episodes ago when he left her over his grand father being present at his wedding.

"it doesn't interest you Omer Bey" "Defne, I asked who u are going to the party with" "and I said it is none of your business Omer Bey" 😂😂❤️ Ufff! I love love Defne standing her ground and Omer going insane with his jealousy. He followed Defne out when she was about to leave all dressed up, he just wanted to talk to her he just wanted to find out what was going in her life and that was Defne's breaking point, she begged him to let her go because she had suffered enough and just wanted peace in her life, the way she held Omer accountable for abandoning her and Omer couldn't even say a word because he knows it's his own fault as well! I was so glad Defne let it all out, she had kept it buried inside her for so long. She was right when she said she never left his side regardless of everything but he did! Omer needed to hear those words from her. And when Omer saw Defne get into Pamir's car, the man flipped! Ufff. The way he chased them down and didn't stop until Defne was out of Pamir's car! Omer Iplikci the most peaceful and calm man, all unhinged because of his possessiveness! Ufff! And the fact that he was okay with Sinan taking Defne but he couldn't tolerate Pamir anywhere near her lmfao and when Pamir called her "Albertin" Omer's possessiveness got even more triggered because in his heart, only he can call Defne by nicknames from their favorite books uff. Even tho I hated how Omer made Defne awkward in the middle of the road but it was a prime example of how insecure he himself is regarding Defne. He can't bare the thought of someone else taking his place in her heart. Ahhh Omer ahhh!
Omer jealous...like Sinan said it was the first time he saw Omer like that.. Thats good..so Omer can feel how it was for Defne to be in that position when she had to deal with Yasemin, Iz, Fikret.....
I think Omer just expected Defne to meet him after work as he “instructed”. I don’t think he was prepared for he going against his wishes. Then when she started blowing up, he expected that he would be able to calm her just like he had done so many times. Again he was surprised that it wasn’t so easy for him. But seeing her leaving with Pamir took him to a next level. I think at this point he started to realized winning her back wouldn’t be so straight forward.
They could have put few episodes where Defne stays angry at omer and he tries to win her back. She gave in so easily. I wanted to see omer give importance to her.
Yea, I also wanted Omer's misery to be a bit longer especially with other guys wooing Defne. He needs to suffer some more for abandoning her for a year, even though he was hurting too.

Omer's facial expression when he saw it was Pamir who is going to the party was just so ferocious, his attitude "nobody takes my girl away from me"was pure magic. And what follows was a foregone conclusion. What would have happened had he seen them dancing in Pamir's office..I shudder to think.🥰
However, this is something that Omer needed to experience, he needed to see that she will be sought after…it’s not like she was looking. As for him, he’s the luckiest man bcuz of her love for him…while he was in Italy being unfaithful to get rid of his pride, I’m glad she held on to her Pure Love as for him…Lucky and should be Thankful
1) Omer having a word with Pamir that Defne is his and he will never let her go, they are meant to be together no matter what, Bruhh the way Omer made Pamir back off because him and Defne have history "Listen to me, Defne is mine" but Pamir was so unbothered and that sent Omer into an even more jealous fit 😂😂😂 MY GOD!! 2) I will always love Defne and Sinan's friendship so much. He has always been so supportive and protective of her. Even now. He is her shoulder to cry on and confide in. Ahh my heart ❤️ I love them so much. 3) I loved Defne's voice over when she was walking towards Pamir's car that she will always love Omer but she wouldn't tell anyone this not even him. Ahhh! The writing of this show is so so brilliant.

@Anam completely agree with everything you say!@Mellymels completely agree with everything you say here to. That scene with the box is a real favourite of mine and it's such a turning point for Omer. Plus I'm kind of incredulous about Pamir daring to challenge Omer re Defne too. It has to be because he's never seen Omer truly in love before, because nothing will make Omer change course on Defne now. Also yes Anam, Defne's voiceover when walking to the car is just amazing and I find kind of v heart breaking at the same time. It really shows how alone she feels in her feelings, even her family and friends who think they're supporting her by being so cold and hard against Omer has made it really hard for her to be truly open with them. In many ways they've taken on Omer's first season attitude of no second chances. Thankfully they don't stay that way for too long. Oh and yes Anam, I just love Sinan and Defne's friendship and their conversation too. He really is like a second brother to her. He gets where she's coming from but can see through her too, which she really needs too. I do love finding both your comments. It's a joy.
I can imagine how unsettled Pamir has Defne. It’s uncanny how he is very similar to Omer. Similar car, whistling the same song, understanding the Albertine reference, the tango and the sense of smell. But my girl Defne is fully entrenched in Omer Bey. None of Pamir’s moves sway her. I mean who falls for the copy after having the original? 😂

One thing that stood out very clearly in defne Sinan conversation..."you both can't be exes or just friends"....a very loud and clear message that was. The explosive incredible chemistry, the undying love for each other....how can they be friends? How can they even think it was over? How did omer even doubt if defne was seeing anyone? It wasn't even possible for him to breathe without her, where is the question of moving on? They say time is the best healer....Is it really true for Defom? They both belong to a different plane where there are no bounds, limits, stereotypes, dogmas.
Yes once someone else points out Omer and Defne’s history and not being able to be friends it becomes obvious. However, I think Omer does doubt Defne’s devotion because he left her thinking that there would never be a chance for them. It is obvious Omer was sleeping with other women in Italy so if he could do that what makes him think that Defne would not move on?

This is probably my favourite episode. I can’t remember how many times I watched that car chase scene over and over again…jealous omer is pure gold!!! He’d get so amused when Defne’s jealous but when the tables are turned…holy crap does it make him go insanely mad and I’m here for it!! 😂😂
after their wedding I'm even more excited about what's going on. now it's reversed. omer is the one who's struggling with the situation..😂✌anyway I've watched it three times Already😂 still excited about what's going to happen, nervous and annoyed😂

Give props to Sinan on always putting Defne first even over his brother Omar. He knows Omar and Pamir and knows that their fight could become physical quickly. When it comes to Defne Omar has a very short fuse. Sinan knows that Omar love Defne more than anything or anyone and Sinan knows that he needs to get Defne out of the situation quickly. Sinan stayed around long enough to make sure Defne had a job and was safe before leaving himself. His priority is to protect Defne’s emotional and mental well being.
Sinan could have used that opportunity to tell Defne about Omer’s pain during that past year. Sinan and Omer were apart as well but they emailed and when he went Italy to Omer before they moved back to Turkey, Omer told him what he went through during that year. Because I dnt think Defne understood that Omer went through it as well. And I am sure she knows because she did say in season 1, that she is afraid if she tells him he will shut everyone out and live the hurt alone or so. And she knows Omer very well.

That confrontation was irrational, showed desperation and arrogance on Omer's part, you just don't leave someone for an entire year, cut them off and toss everything to gutter then come back and demand to know what Defne had been upto. the first time i watched this i overlooked that scene and thought he was brave but nah, that was selfish of him.
I dnt think it was him being possessive, if he had seen Defne with Selim (like he mentioned at the beginning that Defne is probably married to Selim etc) I dnt think he would have reacted that way. He did that because he knows who Pamir is and dnt want Defne falling into his traps.

I really love this show so much but my only trouble with rewatching it MANY times is that every time Omer makes a promise to Defne, I find myself thinking, "Don't count on it girl. Just wait. He will leave you several times before it's over." His promises began to ring a little hollow. Fortunately he does become more trustworthy by the end and their love endures all kinds of heartache for both of them. Such a mesmerizing story. Kudos to the writers, producers, directors and especially the film crew! What a great job they did of telling the story visually. Baris is so emotionally available in his acting, but Elcin is just enchanting. Can't imagine the story being told by any other actors.
This conversation between Omar and Pamir reminds me of the one that dafne and Gallo had when she gave Gallo a way to try her luck with Omar lol now Omar is telling Pamir ok try your luck because he knows that dafne belongs to him and only him uffffff!!!!!👌
I’ve never seen Omer so furious because he is jealous! This episode and that scene when he chase Pamir and Defne is so intense! I’m holding my breath while watching it! Although Omer was the one who left my heart still goes to him, I love how Sinan , neutralized the situation and calmed down everyone, especially Omer.
Episode 155 & 156 are the 2 of my favourites! Love the exchange of dialogue between Omer and Dafne😍 my oh my! My heart was exploding upon seeing Omer’s car blocking Pamir’s car,SUPERB acting! Also the car park confrontation between the lovebirds, oh boy! Salute to the scripwiter👏👏👏

The fight with Omer and Defne was epic. I could feel what Defne was feeling and then Omer asking Defne to to get out of the car and she saying "no I refuse" was just epic. their acting is superb.
Def going with Pamir was the last straw for Omer. Although Pamir is his s cousin he knows how Pamir treats women, no respect for them he’s been with him along time to know that and he does not want Def to fall into that trap.

Watch Kuzgun then. You will like it. He is a good level actor but very unlucky after KA. That fame did not help both him and Elçin Sangu to upgrade and keep on with numerous success in terms of profession and career. Even her year 2020 and 2021 series have scored the maximum low rate amongst Turkish TV series spectators. They are both stuck at KA which means, local fandom is not willing to move on When it comes to this onscreen pair. Very few professionals are lucky to keep up with each product they deliver. The first rule is: do not merge more than enough. I mean, make it professionally credible but not too credible otherwise they are destined to satisfy with side roles after a breakthrough project.
@@elisabettai2053 I agree about Elcin, she has had a very terrible run after KA. All of her shows after that have been canceled and it's so heartbreaking tbh because she is an amazing actress. But it's not the same case with Baris. He has had a successful run. Kuzgun was a massive success, his Netflix show Kulup is also a success and his currently on going historical show "AlpArsalan" is also a massive success.
@@anum103 Kuzgun has had run only 21 episodes under Ay Yapim banner which regularly deliver good quality product. Kuzgun struggled with the oscillation of Turkish TV rating issues.

It seems all of Neriman’s relatives are mischievous. First it was Sude now it’s Pamir. I loved that confrontation. I hope Pamir don’t give in too easily, Omer needs to feel pain all over again.
Just loved the confrontational scene with Dafne telling Omer off, to leave her alone, that it's all over with fiery rage and anger. He expects her to just fall into his arms when he returns after leaving her flat or abandon her with no phone call or anything for a whole year. She was devastated and heartbroken. Like Darcy in Pride and Prejudice novel mentioned by Defne earlier, men are full of pride with high ideals and convictions and fail to recognize the realities of life and relationships. Defne should have told Omer the truth when she fell in love with Omer. Omer should have forgiven Defne realizing she did it to save her brother but fell in love with him. But this is how movies are made to add more drama and complicating plots. Thank you for making the English translations so easy and convenient to watch all 201 episodes. Luv it!!!

This is my best scene of all Omer claiming that Defne is his no matter what happened previously between them and Pamir is a stubborn one too but Sinan is just a darling friend who restored the whole scenario of outbursts.I give thumbs up and more accolades to the script writers with the production crew.
When I rematch this scene, I am astounded at the idea that Omer thinks he can demand Defne just get out of the Pamir’s car. It’s arrogance and desperation, with no forethought for what he’s putting her through.

Although Defne is trying to ignore Omer by refusing to answer his questions about their personal life and showing she won’t be pushed around anymore, screaming it’s over and letting out her emotions, her hurt but the voiceover of Defne’s confession of her great love to Omer regardless is so touching. Good acting Defne. Sinan is always the buffer and cry shoulder for Defne. I like Sinan’s character, a sensitive guy who is very loyal to those he cares. Omer’s acting is brilliant in this episode, the outburst, the chase, the persistence to get Defne out of Pamir’s car, the jealous Omer. Omer did not expect that after laying his cards on the table about Defne to Pamir that Pamir also laid his intentions about Defne that he will pursue her. Omer was furious and told Pamir that Defne is not for him and that Defne is his only. The challenge is on when Pamir explicitly told Omer that it’s up to Defne to choose between him or Omer. And he believes that if they have gone to the party and danced that something may develop between him and Defne. Omer is not impressed and made it clear to Pamir there is no way Defne will end up with him. Defne is his only.
I agree. What cracks me up is even tho omer screwed every woman in Italy be cones back full force on defne...lol. Glad he has to fight to get her back...but you know...he always does and says the perfect words and actions to break her down little by little💓💓💓💓
@@id9829 Yes it is interesting to see how Omer fights for Defne. He knows how slick and smooth Pamir is when it comes to women. Pamir gets every woman he likes. I agree Omer just knows Defne so well, her weakness, her strength and how she gets nervous, speechless and gets lost when Omer looks at her, touch her, smells her and tells her the rights words with depth and intense love. Defne adores Omer, his talents, wisdom, character, confidence and most of all the way he looks at her, touches her, tells her how he thinks of her day and night and how he is very sorry melts her heart. Defne considers him as a King with such command and authority over her heart. Yet the King she know how to bend and soften him. It will be interesting to see how he wins Defne over Pamir and the tricks Pamir will use to distract and confuse Defne.

Because he was hurt so badly on his wedding day, what a shock for him when Def was telling her secret AT LAST. Their love was real and true Pamir, yes he shud not hv left but again I say he was wounded by their revelation. On the other hand Def had her family who did he have the ones that betrayed him.
Omer handled the situation so bad. He could’ve left for a bit and think it through, not for a year. All Defne did for him was out of pure love. She didn’t deserve his wrath.

Omer feeling so much insecure is so good to watch. Incredible outburst from Defne!!!! It is interesting to see that though Defne had so many people including Pamir siding her, and Omer had none to side him, still Omer portrays himself strong however much he feels insecure and uncertain inside, and Defne takes strong stance however much she portraying herself as helpless in her love for him. Omer really needs a persistent competition like Pamir, else Defne is paving a cakewalk path for Omer.

I don't like Omer anymore in this season, he treats Defne as his property, he left her for a year and when he came back, he expects she'll wait for him with open arms, what a selfishness. Defne should teach him a lesson but she's too weak.
He did never ever expect her to wait for him. That’s why he didn’t even want Sinan to tell him anything because he wanted to believe that Defne had moved on and be happy. And he said if he finds out she is in a happy relationship he will let her be but if she is still single he is gonna try get her back. The only reason he is acting this way (like how you say treat Defne like his property) is because he doesn’t want pamir to hurt Defne because he knows pamir is a player and never been in stable relationships or so and he doesn’t want Defne to get played. Which he will be right to think so because he is proven right later when he figure out the love for rent game. Although he doesn’t know that pamir is now fully infatuated or maybe even in love with Defne.
It took forever for Defne to say those words and resentment to Omer. And that was one hell of pain! it gets out from your mouth when enough is enough. Bravo, Defne 👏🏼🙌🏻
This is one of my interesting episodes in all. I loved how Defne told Omer it's over and he should let her be. Even though both knew their love was far from over. There's this kind of love that two souls unite and one can never do without the other, no matter what happens(that's the definition of DefOm) Then the crazy car chase by a jealous Omer, Sinan stepping in and giving Defne a shoulder to cry on. And Pamir refusing to back down inspite of Omer's claim on Defne.
Hats off to Pamir for not backing down. Yay.. Props to Omer Defne's mine!!. I hope this triangle of love goes on for a while. Omer looks even better jealous, and let's be real Defne got a backbone ..GOOD Self-esteem every woman needs it.

Sinan most sincere love for Defne is the one I really love better than Omer, Sinan protect Defne and he was there when she needed him the most, finding her the job to start her life all over again, and obviously he knows what Defne went thru when Omer left her. This one my favorite episode 😍, 3 things I need say. 1st, Omer & Defne are heart broken, noticed it right away. 2nd Omer Jealousy is hot, but the way he act is insane, what you expect Omer? you can see other women, Defne can't see other men, cause she need to Faithful to you. Defne's wearing those shoes that Omer designed and gave it to her on her birthday. It's a heartaching drama for these two lover's been squashed in the middle of Neriman's scam. .
I admire Defne’s resilience but sad to hear that she couldn’t even eat for a while. Such an experience is difficult to overcome and it just paralyzes you for a while 😢
She has to blame herself as well. They both were hurting. In such a beautiful event of your life you disclose something like that which will have the repercussions. She can’t blame Omer alone now. I do feel for her but she is equally responsible to what happened.

But it was Iz who could ask for what she wanted and whose performance he thought was outstanding. Although all those ideas were never implemented. He simply didn't respect Defne even though they were separated. How would he have felt if Defne was flirting with a man and visiting bars in the evenings? If Defne was always crying and in pain, he could have dealt with her a little more tactically and taken her feelings into account.

Watching this series so many time that I lost count but this episode in S2 is my absolute favorite. Defne’s meltdown scenes with all the pent up emotions finally voiced out. Her character evolved to be more in control than S1 which beautifully crafted. I just hope that Omer’s character was challenge more to really make him brake a sweat to get Defne back. You might not like Pamir but he was right about all what he said to Ömer. Ömer had absolutely no right to make that scene on the road, whether Defne still craves for him or not. Past is past. Not in this case, but in real life there are some ex's whom cannot give up on ther ex-wife or girlfriend the moment those women say everything is over and move on. These ex men then stalk them and often, these ex women become real victims of those inhuman and irrational beings. [Nearly 100 women in Italy have lost their live me by the hands of their exs for the very same reason leaving their kids half orphan]. In the same Turkey, a woman was stabbed at noon in a restaurant of Istanbul a couple of year by the hands of her ex-husband leaving a little girl motherless. A Turkish series called Sen Anlat Kara Deniz has had showcased the aspects of Turkish women missing or dead by the hands of their exs, not to mention about domestic violence... Ömer showed with that scene a sign of stalking. Defne was absolutely right about her behaviour when he insisted ordering her to get out of the car🙆♂️🤦♂️ After all, they are legally divorced and Defne is not his private "object".
Omer’s determination to stop Pamir in taking Defne to the party and forcing Defne to get out of the car show how terribly worried he is. He knows how Pamir can get every woman he likes and so he is terrified Defne will fall for Pamir’s smooth approach to women. I like how Sinan comes to the rescue to get Defne out of Pamir’s car. I like the straightforward questioning of Pamir to Omer and Omer to Pamir about Defne. The two realised there is a battle they have to win and that is Defne, very interesting to watch the next episodes. Will Omer discover Pamir’s secret. That like Defne he is hired to make Defne fall in love with him by Neriman.
Omer made a big mistake in telling Pamir abt how everything went down between him n Def n it’s not that Pamir never knew. Yes he is afraid Def will b taken for a ride n he also aware that she has been thru enough. Yes he will figure it out.
Sinan knew that Pamir is a womaniser all the more reason for him to warn Def as the three hv known each other since childhood. She would not hv been so naive.
Turkish writers need to realise that we live in 21st Century. It’s none of Omer’s business where and with whom defne goes. I wish they had shown defne in a relationship with someone else. I wish they would not end up together but part ways amicably. But obviously they’ll end up together.

I know the wedding/divorce and the aftermath was incredibly devastating for Daphne, but I think it was to her benefit in the long run. I can imagine how difficult it would have been to be married to a man like Ömer the way he was in Season 1. Someone who can not communicate and just runs away with each difficulty that comes up. I know this is just a show, but a marriage regardless of how much love there is is going to have good and bad times. His ego and pride would have eventually destroyed Daphne’s love. Hopefully now that Ömer has had some time to think and change, they will be much happier in their fictional marriage.
jealousy is a sickness special when about the man that intentionally left the woman the day after their wedding day with all the prior claims that never leave her side, the scene of Omar jealousy might be interesting for a lot of women in DefOm case or admire but practically is wrong social behavior and perpetuate a wrong obsessions' attitude in relationship dynamic. In a lot of society western or eastern cultures a lot of women chase or stuck after leave their exes and sadly some times loose their life in the hand of extremes psychotics obsess or jealous boy friend or husband. In a relationship some times Love is not enough and so many other things have important function in a healthy relationship like having a peace of mind.
Bad boys like Pamir is what Defne needs to take her mind off Omer for a while. He’s cultured, sophisticated and lacks nothing so he can stand toe to toe with Omer. Their conversation was spot on and each one declaring his stance was brilliant. Pamir has fallen for Defne and I don’t think he’s pursuing her for the money at this time. 😅

What if Defne was so devastated that she got married to Selim to forget him. He didn’t want to know what happened to her and had concluded that she has moved on and accepted it. He only pursued her when he knew she didn’t have anyone and he had affairs left and right when he was in Rome. That attitude was what disappointed me . Lucky for him, Defne didn’t go that route and having a man like Pamir has made her want to go out and have a life again. I’d rather have a playboy to have fun with and know where I stand than to walk on tiptoes around a man who will leave me every time I make a mistake. That is so exhausting. Life is too short to waste my time on pleasing a man like that. He could have gotten angry at everyone else and took Defne with him but no, he left her humiliated and alone to face the music 😡

I do appreciate it’s a difficult job, and kudos to the translators. They are doing an awesome job. Sometimes the sentences are too long to read and they have been able to shorten it that we can read comfortably.

She is furious. She said it all in a matter of minutes. Basically” I loved you, yes I deceived you but I came back again and again. You left me and said you’ll never trust me”. Wow. I was always on Defne side because she was so scared to tell him and she didn’t know how to fix this game his aunt schemed up. So she did stupid things to pay back the debt and did what she did out of love.
They were both played with by his Aunt, Serder was the reason she took that money. Everyone should’ve just left them alone. They fell in love deeply with each other, on their own, that game was cruel but Defne was unaware how these people, wealthy people will do for money.

I love the passion that omer has for defne and i am so glad that she isnt backing down. The speech where she said she had just started to rebuild her life and feel whole again and then he came back, that broke me. you could see how much pain she was in. I love Sinan he is the purest soul. I do wish we knew more what happened with him and Yazmin as I liked her character at the end and what happened to Sude and Tramba. Season 1 is brilliant but season 2 is epic. This is my fourth time watching this and I still notice new things I never noticed before.

DEPHNE outpouring of anger on him was so good to watch sadly that was the reaction I wanted 10 episodes ago when he left her over his grand father being present at his wedding.

Ufff! I love love Defne standing her ground and Omer going insane with his jealousy. He followed Defne out when she was about to leave all dressed up, he just wanted to talk to her he just wanted to find out what was going in her life and that was Defne's breaking point, she begged him to let her go because she had suffered enough and just wanted peace in her life, the way she held Omer accountable for abandoning her and Omer couldn't even say a word because he knows it's his own fault as well! I was so glad Defne let it all out, she had kept it buried inside her for so long. She was right when she said she never left his side regardless of everything but he did! Omer needed to hear those words from her.
And when Omer saw Defne get into Pamir's car, the man flipped! Ufff. The way he chased them down and didn't stop until Defne was out of Pamir's car! Omer Iplikci the most peaceful and calm man, all unhinged because of his possessiveness! Ufff! And the fact that he was okay with Sinan taking Defne but he couldn't tolerate Pamir anywhere near her lmfao and when Pamir called her "Albertin" Omer's possessiveness got even more triggered because in his heart, only he can call Defne by nicknames from their favorite books uff. Even tho I hated how Omer made Defne awkward in the middle of the road but it was a prime example of how insecure he himself is regarding Defne. I think Omer just expected Defne to meet him after work as he “instructed”. I don’t think he was prepared for he going against his wishes. Then when she started blowing up, he expected that he would be able to calm her just like he had done so many times. Again he was surprised that it wasn’t so easy for him. But seeing her leaving with Pamir took him to a next level. I think at this point he started to realized winning her back wouldn’t be so straight forward.
They could have put few episodes where Defne stays angry at omer and he tries to win her back. She gave in so easily. I wanted to see omer give importance to her.
Yea, I also wanted Omer's misery to be a bit longer especially with other guys wooing Defne. He needs to suffer some more for abandoning her for a year, even though he was hurting too.

Plus I'm kind of incredulous about Pamir daring to challenge Omer re Defne too. It has to be because he's never seen Omer truly in love before, because nothing will make Omer change course on Defne now. Also yes Anam, Defne's voiceover when walking to the car is just amazing and I find kind of v heart breaking at the same time. It really shows how alone she feels in her feelings, even her family and friends who think they're supporting her by being so cold and hard against Omer has made it really hard for her to be truly open with them. In many ways they've taken on Omer's first season attitude of no second chances. Thankfully they don't stay that way for too long.

It wasn't even possible for him to breathe without her, where is the question of moving on? They say time is the best healer....Is it really true for Defom? They both belong to a different plane where there are no bounds, limits, stereotypes, dogmas.
Yes once someone else points out Omer and Defne’s history and not being able to be friends it becomes obvious. However, I think Omer does doubt Defne’s devotion because he left her thinking that there would never be a chance for them. It is obvious Omer was sleeping with other women in Italy so if he could do that what makes him think that Defne would not move on?

Give props to Sinan on always putting Defne first even over his brother Omar. He knows Omar and Pamir and knows that their fight could become physical quickly. When it comes to Defne Omar has a very short fuse. Sinan knows that Omar love Defne more than anything or anyone and Sinan knows that he needs to get Defne out of the situation quickly. Sinan stayed around long enough to make sure Defne had a job and was safe before leaving himself. His priority is to protect Defne’s emotional and mental well being.
Sinan could have used that opportunity to tell Defne about Omer’s pain during that past year. Sinan and Omer were apart as well but they emailed and when he went Italy to Omer before they moved back to Turkey, Omer told him what he went through during that year. Because I dnt think Defne understood that Omer went through it as well. And I am sure she knows because she did say in season 1, that she is afraid if she tells him he will shut everyone out and live the hurt alone or so. And she knows Omer very well.

That confrontation was irrational, showed desperation and arrogance on Omer's part, you just don't leave someone for an entire year, cut them off and toss everything to gutter then come back and demand to know what Defne had been upto. the first time i watched this i overlooked that scene and thought he was brave but nah, that was selfish of him.
I dnt think it was him being possessive, if he had seen Defne with Selim (like he mentioned at the beginning that Defne is probably married to Selim etc) I dnt think he would have reacted that way. He did that because he knows who Pamir is and dnt want Defne falling into his traps.

I really love this show so much but my only trouble with rewatching it MANY times is that every time Omer makes a promise to Defne, I find myself thinking, "Don't count on it girl. Just wait. He will leave you several times before it's over." His promises began to ring a little hollow. Fortunately he does become more trustworthy by the end and their love endures all kinds of heartache for both of them. Such a mesmerizing story. Kudos to the writers, producers, directors and especially the film crew! What a great job they did of telling the story visually. Baris is so emotionally available in his acting, but Elcin is just enchanting. Can't imagine the story being told by any other actors.

The fight with Omer and Defne was epic. I could feel what Defne was feeling and then Omer asking Defne to to get out of the car and she saying "no I refuse" was just epic. their acting is superb.
Def going with Pamir was the last straw for Omer. Although Pamir is his s cousin he knows how Pamir treats women, no respect for them he’s been with him along time to know that and he does not want Def to fall into that trap.

Watch Kuzgun then. You will like it. He is a good level actor but very unlucky after KA. That fame did not help both him and Elçin Sangu to upgrade and keep on with numerous success in terms of profession and career. Even her year 2020 and 2021 series have scored the maximum low rate amongst Turkish TV series spectators. They are both stuck at KA which means, local fandom is not willing to move on When it comes to this onscreen pair. Very few professionals are lucky to keep up with each product they deliver. The first rule is: do not merge more than enough. I mean, make it professionally credible but not too credible otherwise they are destined to satisfy with side roles after a breakthrough project.

But it's not the same case with Baris. He has had a successful run. Kuzgun was a massive success, his Netflix show Kulup is also a success and his currently on going historical show "AlpArsalan" is also a massive success.

Just loved the confrontational scene with Dafne telling Omer off, to leave her alone, that it's all over with fiery rage and anger. He expects her to just fall into his arms when he returns after leaving her flat or abandon her with no phone call or anything for a whole year. She was devastated and heartbroken. Like Darcy in Pride and Prejudice novel mentioned by Defne earlier, men are full of pride with high ideals and convictions and fail to recognize the realities of life and relationships. Defne should have told Omer the truth when she fell in love with Omer. Omer should have forgiven Defne realizing she did it to save her brother but fell in love with him. But this is how movies are made to add more drama and complicating plots. Thank you for making the English translations so easy and convenient to watch all 201 episodes. Luv it!!!

This is my best scene of all Omer claiming that Defne is his no matter what happened previously between them and Pamir is a stubborn one too but Sinan is just a darling friend who restored the whole scenario of outbursts.I give thumbs up and more accolades to the script writers with the production crew.
When I rematch this scene, I am astounded at the idea that Omer thinks he can demand Defne just get out of the Pamir’s car. It’s arrogance and desperation, with no forethought for what he’s putting her through.

Good acting Defne. Sinan is always the buffer and cry shoulder for Defne. I like Sinan’s character, a sensitive guy who is very loyal to those he cares. Omer’s acting is brilliant in this episode, the outburst, the chase, the persistence to get Defne out of Pamir’s car, the jealous Omer. Omer did not expect that after laying his cards on the table about Defne to Pamir that Pamir also laid his intentions about Defne that he will pursue her. Omer was furious and told Pamir that Defne is not for him and that Defne is his only. The challenge is on when Pamir explicitly told Omer that it’s up to Defne to choose between him or Omer. And he believes that if they have gone to the party and danced that something may develop between him and Defne. Omer is not impressed and made it clear to Pamir there is no way Defne will end up with him. Defne is his only.

Yes! Pamir was on point! finally someone says it! if Defnes love for him was real and not a scam then why did he leave her!
Because he was hurt so badly on his wedding day, what a shock for him when Def was telling her secret AT LAST. Their love was real and true Pamir, yes he shud not hv left but again I say he was wounded by their revelation. On the other hand Def had her family who did he have the ones that betrayed him.
Omer handled the situation so bad. He could’ve left for a bit and think it through, not for a year. All Defne did for him was out of pure love. She didn’t deserve his wrath.

Omer feeling so much insecure is so good to watch. Incredible outburst from Defne!!!! It is interesting to see that though Defne had so many people including Pamir siding her, and Omer had none to side him, still Omer portrays himself strong however much he feels insecure and uncertain inside, and Defne takes strong stance however much she portraying herself as helpless in her love for him. Omer really needs a persistent competition like Pamir, else Defne is paving a cakewalk path for Omer.

The only reason he is acting this way (like how you say treat Defne like his property) is because he doesn’t want pamir to hurt Defne because he knows pamir is a player and never been in stable relationships or so and he doesn’t want Defne to get played. Which he will be right to think so because he is proven right later when he figure out the love for rent game. Although he doesn’t know that pamir is now fully infatuated or maybe even in love with Defne.

This is one of my interesting episodes in all. I loved how Defne told Omer it's over and he should let her be. Even though both knew their love was far from over. There's this kind of love that two souls unite and one can never do without the other, no matter what happens(that's the definition of DefOm) Then the crazy car chase by a jealous Omer, Sinan stepping in and giving Defne a shoulder to cry on. And Pamir refusing to back down inspite of Omer's claim on Defne.
Smart tbh she's protecting herself from a man who broke her heart countless times without looking back. But damn he's fine so I see her dilema 🤣

Sinan most sincere love for Defne is the one I really love better than Omer, Sinan protect Defne and he was there when she needed him the most, finding her the job to start her life all over again, and obviously he knows what Defne went thru when Omer left her. Even though his going thru a rough time himself.

This one my favorite episode 😍, 3 things I need say. 1st, Omer & Defne are heart broken, noticed it right away. 2nd Omer Jealousy is hot, but the way he act is insane, what you expect Omer? you can see other women, Defne can't see other men, cause she need to Faithful to you. Don't think so. 3rd, So Proud of Defne didn't listen to Omer to get out car, the more she said "no" the more Angry Omer get. Good for you Defne stand up to Omer

I admire Defne’s resilience but sad to hear that she couldn’t even eat for a while. Such an experience is difficult to overcome and it just paralyzes you for a while 😢
She has to blame herself as well. They both were hurting. In such a beautiful event of your life you disclose something like that which will have the repercussions. She can’t blame Omer alone now. I do feel for her but she is equally responsible to what happened.

Watching this series so many time that I lost count but this episode in S2 is my absolute favorite. Defne’s meltdown scenes with all the pent up emotions finally voiced out. Her character evolved to be more in control than S1 which beautifully crafted. I just hope that Omer’s character was challenge more to really make him brake a sweat to get Defne back. Bravo to the whole production! And thanks for the English translation. Much ❤ from 🇲🇾

Not in this case, but in real life there are some ex's whom cannot give up on ther ex-wife or girlfriend the moment those women say everything is over and move on.
These ex men then stalk them and often, these ex women become real victims of those inhuman and irrational beings. [Nearly 100 women in Italy have lost their live me by the hands of their exs for the very same reason leaving their kids half orphan].
In the same Turkey, a woman was stabbed at noon in a restaurant of Istanbul a couple of year by the hands of her ex-husband leaving a little girl motherless. A Turkish series called Sen Anlat Kara Deniz has had showcased the aspects of Turkish women missing or dead by the hands of their exs, not to mention about domestic violence...
Ömer showed with that scene a sign of stalking. Defne was absolutely right about her behaviour when he insisted ordering her to get out of the car🙆♂️🤦♂️

Omer’s determination to stop Pamir in taking Defne to the party and forcing Defne to get out of the car show how terribly worried he is. He knows how Pamir can get every woman he likes and so he is terrified Defne will fall for Pamir’s smooth approach to women. I like how Sinan comes to the rescue to get Defne out of Pamir’s car. I like the straightforward questioning of Pamir to Omer and Omer to Pamir about Defne. The two realised there is a battle they have to win and that is Defne, very interesting to watch the next episodes. Will Omer discover Pamir’s secret. That like Defne he is hired to make Defne fall in love with him by Neriman.

I know the wedding/divorce and the aftermath was incredibly devastating for Daphne, but I think it was to her benefit in the long run. I can imagine how difficult it would have been to be married to a man like Ömer the way he was in Season 1. Someone who can not communicate and just runs away with each difficulty that comes up. I know this is just a show, but a marriage regardless of how much love there is is going to have good and bad times. His ego and pride would have eventually destroyed Daphne’s love. Hopefully now that Ömer has had some time to think and change, they will be much happier in their fictional marriage.
jealousy is a sickness special when about the man that intentionally left the woman the day after their wedding day with all the prior claims that never leave her side, the scene of Omar jealousy might be interesting for a lot of women in DefOm case or admire but practically is wrong social behavior and perpetuate a wrong obsessions' attitude in relationship dynamic. In a lot of society western or eastern cultures a lot of women chase or stuck after leave their exes and sadly some times loose their life in the hand of extremes psychotics obsess or jealous boy friend or husband. In a relationship some times Love is not enough and so many other things have important function in a healthy relationship like having a peace of mind.
Bad boys like Pamir is what Defne needs to take her mind off Omer for a while. He’s cultured, sophisticated and lacks nothing so he can stand toe to toe with Omer. Their conversation was spot on and each one declaring his stance was brilliant. Pamir has fallen for Defne and I don’t think he’s pursuing her for the money at this time. 😅
@@mse9609 Let’s agree to disagree in a friendly manner. I wouldn’t want a man like Omer’s character in season 1 because you would have to be perfect for him to accept you. What if Defne was so devastated that she got married to Selim to forget him. He didn’t want to know what happened to her and had concluded that she has moved on and accepted it. He only pursued her when he knew she didn’t have anyone and he had affairs left and right when he was in Rome. That attitude was what disappointed me . Lucky for him, Defne didn’t go that route and having a man like Pamir has made her want to go out and have a life again. I’d rather have a playboy to have fun with and know where I stand than to walk on tiptoes around a man who will leave me every time I make a mistake. That is so exhausting. Life is too short to waste my time on pleasing a man like that. Defne was nothing but supportive of him despite her lies and had made him a better person but to leave her like that is almost unforgivable . He could have gotten angry at everyone else and took Defne with him but no, he left her humiliated and alone to face the music 😡

Defne knowing Omer knew he’s gonna leave her if she tells the truth that’s why she was scared until he told her he needs transparency after the wedding. However he could have tried to understand her too but maybe the betrayal was too much for him. They both know now that they still love each other despite all that happened in the past so there are no more obstacles in the present relationship ❤️
