My heart still missed a beat when I behold Omer catching Defne in his arms when she was about to fall even though I've watched it countless time...LFR is the best ever Turkish drama.❤
The coolest thing has happened in this episode. You can see that this is a completely different Omer with Haldun in the restaurant. He designed those shoes right there in the open. He used to do it quietly and never let anyone see him design. It's an exciting lead into this renewed Senior Omer! Love it!

Speaks big words in front of Defne like she is his life, he'll never leave her, she is his everything, blah blah. His actions indicate otherwise. Omer left town and Defne when he found out about the game. He drank and slept around Rome to try to get over being deceived. Defne gave up on life and according to Iso and her family almost died. That’s two very different ways to get over a broken heart.

The premise of Ask Laftan Anlamaz is very similar to Kiralik Ask. But there is a great difference between Murat and Omer's character. Murat is also a control freak and hates lies. He punishes Hayat for her deception on their wedding day but NEVER cheated on her. He hated her, hurt her for her lies but NEVER left her, NEVER got entangled with women to "get over" his heartbreak. Murat truly loved Hayat and meant every word he said to her, unlike Omer. There's not much difference between the backstory of Murat and Omer but look how they dealt with their sorrows. One never let go of his woman, only had his eyes fixed on her, whereas the other took the woman's love for granted and chronically cheated behind her back.
The ending of this episode is 🔥🔥🔥!!

I keep reading all these Turkish speakers refer to the horrible subtitle translation. I'm by no means a Turkish speaker, but even I can sometimes catch how incorrectly they are translated. Although this series is better than some other Turkish dramas that are really badly translated, I still wish we could get accurate translations. I almost wish Netflix or another big provider would buy the rights because then we'd get a bit better representations of this lovely story (although even then it wouldn't be perfect)

watching for at least the 5th time FF all the scenes with Nierimem - I love season 2 because she has so much agency in this season!
22:28 per Esra we at least know that "Omar married Defne, but left the next day." (As we didn't gey to see whay happened when Dafne finally came clean to him at the wedding) However, from an earlier scene I am left with the impression that Omer must be sleeping his way thru Rome to get over his heartbreak. You notice when his friends come to pick him up & he goes to leave we can hear a shower running (which would indicate that he had a "guest"); then as they are walking a way a kinda loose looking woman waves at Omer & he says something about her being an old story. The girl in his group of friends ask "How old? A week?" Like they are all well aware of how he has been going thru the women. That makes me so sad.😢
You can clearly hear the shower running. Omer’s friends comment about the women who acknowledges him on the street. We assume she is one of his one night stands. Omer tells Sinan he is not proud of the life that he built in Rome. Poor Defne, she was abandoned by her parents, and now by Omer. When Defne fell in love with Omer, as their love blossomed their relationship became intimate.
Omer humiliated Defne and her family by leaving. They were embarrassed in front of their relatives and neighbors. Of course Omer was devastated when Defne told him about the love for rent scheme, but did he have to leave her. After his conversation with Serda (Defne’s brother) he promised he would look after Defne and give her a better life. No wonder Iso and Defne’s family was furious with Omer, for leaving and only thinking about himself.

Had he been a true lover, it'd wound him to even think of cheating her, to even dare of crossing the line. All his big promises to Defne are empty words. He kept having one night stands with numerous women shamelessly, taking advantage of her pure love. What's ironic is he can hurt Defne for her lies but will never get punished for his promiscuity.

We were all left to figure out where the truth is and where the lie is, but I think that he is lying, as in the case with Iz... he was tormented by remorse that he did not end the relationship with Eda (she is physically injured) by him, but he did not know how the meeting with Defne would end, did not end the relationship, did not rent out the house... and getting together with Defne, he was distracted from thoughts about Eda, and the toy reminded him... It is interesting that parting with Defne did not torment him so much, he lulled himself to sleep with street women and booze, and Eda's injury caused him such an attack of conscience!?

Pamir was not a good person in my book. Pamir hurt Omer and Defne . Defne always forgives easily. Pamir finally left because he knew Defne would never love him . I loved it when ISO tells a saying that the master told him when they guys where eating after they went fishing . ISO says you know when it is time to go . Move on. You might be leaving some damage behind. ISO looks at Pamir thinking it is time for you to leave. Omer and Defne are together. Pamir realize after ISO said that saying it was time for him to move on and go back to London. Pamir looks at Omer and sees in Omer eyes how much he hurt Omer. That is when Pamir leaves and goes back to London. Maybe Pamir will realize not to hurt people, and not be a player Pamir was his whole life. @@Meryemnese6943
@@gailahanour4146 I understand your feelings towards Pamir, but what you say here about Iso's comment is not correct. He didn't even know why Pamira was there or that he was after Defne. Omer and Pamir had even made up when they went fishing and Iso had also spoken to him for the first time.
What the master gave to Iso as advice related to his impossible relationship with Aysegul that was troubling him. Iso saw Omer worrying because he knew about the problems with the Topal family that caused Defne to move in with Omer.
Everyone interpreted the statement on their own situation: Omer wanted to leave Istanbul with Defne and Pamir decided that it was time to leave for his own life in London.
Pamir's presence served its purpose as Omer was forced to fight for Defne. Pamir had known for a long time, thanks to Koray's comments, that he had no chance with Defne. However, he continued to challenge Omer because he still came back just as arrogant as before he left for Rome.
Pamir also played a nice role in the relationship between Seda and Sinan.
So please continue to look at the story in the right context and do not confuse the events. When Pamir left he had already made up with Omer. That's why they went fishing together and invited Sinan and Iso.
When Defne agreed to Neriman she did not know who she should marry and when Pamir agreed he did not know that Defne was married and divorced from Omer.
When Omer told him, he had found Defne in tears on the roof earlier in the day. She also told him that it was about the past. And that wasn't a lie because Omer had annulled the wedding.
Now Omer pretends that he can still assert rights over her by shouting that she belongs to him because they have a past together. A very absurd line of reasoning.

He definitely did. You recall the shower running while he left his place when in Rome. The allusion is that a girl is showering while he is bolting away from her. He appeared to want to live a life that was very different than the one he lived in Turkey...and he was trying to forget Defne. He clearly didn't live as a monk...but he was miserable and definitely didn't forget Defne.

Sinan is shock Omer forgives Sinan. Sinan knows Omer the best ,because he grew up with Omer and Omer never forgive anyone who lies to him. It has been 1 year Omer and Defne have not seen or talk to each other. Omer says it over I lost Defne . Sinan said is it truly over . Sinan knows everything about Defne .Sinan got Defne the job . Defne never wanted to do designing again , because that world was too much of backstabbing people Defne felt. Sinan kept quiet about Defne , because Omer was still hurting Plus Omer said he did not want to know , because it would hurt him to much if she was with someone else. So Sinan kept quiet about Defen . Sinan convenient Omer to go back to start their company again instead of going bankrupt. Omer is hurting , but he realize how much he hurt Defne. Omer changed for the better . Omer not thinking only of himself anymore. Omer finally taken responsibility of what he did to people , because of his dame pride.

@@iremnsahyes Omer said like him. Like I said Defne thought of that world was people who backstabbed people. Have no heart. Omer was like that too until Defne changed him. Omer was cold ,arrogant ,pride , lake empathy , stubborn, had to have people around him to yes him to death, never forgive, yelled, strong , never show his weak side, never smile man. But Defne changed Omer for the better. Omer never show his good side until Defne came into the picture. Defne left the design business because she had a heart and was not a backstabbing person. Defne was clumsy did not think she was smart ,beautiful . Omer shown Defne her true self. Defne became more confident smarter and she felt beautiful because Omer brought that out of her. But Defne is still naive and tells everyone about her life. Not good. Pamir see Defne naive and Pamir is using it to his advantage. Pamir is a playboy who treats women bad. Thinks any women will fall for him. Pamir does not care who he hurts. Defne is falling into Pamir trap. But Omer there to protect Defne from Pamir. Omer knows Pamir real well . But Defne does not want anything to do with Omer at this point. But Defne never stop loving Omer and Omer will get Defne back.
