I know you reacted to "I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul" but the BEST LINE in the song is "I want you to notice... when I'm not around." Thom Yorke is a goofy little guy but he put into words what every man on the planet feels.
I love that you stopped it when Jonny hit that muted guitar cord because "it scared you a bit." That sound is single handedly one of the rawest moments in the history of rock music.
To me, the "your skin makes me cry" line is pure genius. Its supposed to make you feel uncomfortable. If a song can make you feel how the writer of the song is feeling, then that's just genius.
I'm very old and this song has been my theme song since it came. It describes my feelings exactly. No I'm not sad all the time, haha. But I've stayed pretty much the same. Thanks for reacting to it. Gorgeous song, very creepy. Hugs from Sweden ( if hugs makes me too much of a creep, read it as greatings)
He wrote this song about a girl he was in love with in college but no confidence in himself couldn't talk to her and watched from afar . Till drunk one night tried to talk to her but still blew it later he sang the song at a show and saw her in the crowd
Also hates performing this song live!! Not just because of the emotions, but at the time it came out, was all anybody wanted them to play!! And they had a lot of great music!! Still do!! So they stopped doing it live... But there is a great live one on the tube if you'd like to indulge!
You know what one great thing, about every great band is though? They all have that one song they never want to play live, because it is literally!, just that hard on their heart!!! But they will try, because they know that many people found salvation in it!!
Welcome to one of the Best band on the planet , Love , love, Loveeee Radiohead, Thom York, Leadsinger, have one of the most beautiful voice i ever hurt
The guitarist originally hated this song and tried to ruin it by that abrupt sudden iconic guitar crashing sound but it was kept while recording because it sounds so cool. The song would not be same with out it.
Never thought I'd love this song. Then I listened one day and have loved it ever since. It's like someone giving validity to all those who have been called, ' a creep," especially young boys and girls.
@@michellez1414 always assumed it was about someone who liked a person ‘out of their league’ so called a creep/weirdo And possibly your comment proved the point of the song 😅

The most moving, heartbreaking rendition is their live performance at Glastonbury after he lost his wife to cancer. It feels intrusive to see. I’ve never seen a heart break, again, in real time. I can’t believe he had the heart to perform it.
I LOVE Radiohead!! If you want to go down the Radiohead rabbit trail, start at the beginning of their journey and take it all the way up to today. They are so very gifted. Jonny, the lead guitarist is a musical genius who is an actual composer. Thom Yorke is so gifted it's unbelievable and the rest of the band is too. My favorite songs are Creep, and "Paranoid Android" and it's best to watch the live version at Radiohead - Paranoid Android (Later Archive 1997). I love the entire "In Rainbows" album and you can watch them live at "In Rainbows From the Basement" sessions. It's great to watch instead of just listen so you can see just how musically gifted they all really are. Thanks for a great reaction video!!
This song in my 20s was my anthem. “I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul” I just wanted my mom to tell me she loved me. 💔 I’m 50 now. Still hits. 🥰
I'm an old head but I gotta tell you this song was the best to react to.,. to let you know you are beautiful no matter how how you are. Period. From a momma to you.... You are beautiful
I got to see Radiohead open for REM in Dallas in the 90s. The emotion that Thom puts into his vocals is identical live as it is on recording. This song it so tortured and sad. But it is also amazing.
I hope I am not breaking any rules when I say that even though I am a Radiohead fan and love the song, I suddenly realised that I was really enjoying just watching this beautiful man. How handsome he is.
The transitions are crazy... so, Greg, you say you like that... then you MUST be a Queen fan - literally the Queens of transition!! Great reaction - I love this song.
Yes, I read the same about how he did not have the confidence to approach her. When he did, he blew it. I also read that the record label forced him to record and sing the song. It was one of the most iconic songs in their catalog. The guitar melody is incredible.
Radiohead is definitely an acquired taste, they were very popular and won a few music awards, not everyone's cup of tea but the lyrics are sometimes complicated and hard to translate.
Just recently saw a Foo Fighters cover of Creep with special guest vocalist Dave Chapelle. Now, it wasn’t the best rendition I’ve heard but it was so interesting because Dave was soooo into it. Clearly loved the song, wanted the crowd to sing with him. Cool.
Definitely listen, as others have said, to her Grammy performance of this. To watch her face, watch her have to start over because she was so emotional and I would imagine frightened to be singing such and open song to her peers, and the perfection in her singing? It’s indescribably painful.
I've been obsessed with this song since it came out. There are some GREAT covers if it. But the best by far is 2 girls from the Voice Kids in Germany (I think it's the right country)
That noise you heard that startled you at first with that guitar.... Story has it that Johnny Greenwood the guitarist was not in the mood to rehearse this song and did that to be a jerk. And it wound up giving the song its hook 🤣
It’s about feeling you don’t fit in and aren’t good enough. It took me quite a few listens to figure it out but I love the song and it’s the only Radio Head song that I listen to. I once read that it was a mistake. He came in too early, but the producer thought it was brilliant, so it was kept in.
@@hrothgar64 Oh, from what I heard people say it was an intentional improvisation, because Johnny felt it was too boring.

The are music geniuses.
Glad you played the video. The visuals are intense and so is the RUN RUN RUNNNNNNNNNNN! along with the savage guitaring.
I get chills over that beautiful passionate outcry!!! Excellent singer and song.

An integral part of UK music history. One of my favorite songs ever
I love ALL the 90s Creep songs, Radiohead, TLC, and Stone Temple Pilots 😊
Enjoyed your reaction
Funny enough STP is my favorite band, but their Creep is my least favorite
He can spend a week or two doing just STP.
One of the best songs of the 90's and everyoe knew when thet don't belong. Alienation can cause paranoia.
Amen!.
This song really just speaks to everyone. You need to check out their live version from Landgraaf in 1996. Thom Yorke kills it.
Fun fact. Despite being their most famous song, they really hate it. At the time, people came to the concert only to hear this song and then leave.
Its a vibe, I love this song.

Post Modern Jukebox with Halley Reinhardt does an incredible job covering this song. She is a vocal acrobat 😮
The woman had perfect, flawless skin and he felt inferior.
"unworthy" would be a better description than "inferior", i think.
I would think he meant her skin was so perfect and soft and that's why it makes him cry!!!
Great review! It is a deep song and multidimensional. Love the honest reactions.
Radiohead - Street Spirit is a great song not many people react to
What an epic song to react to. Looking forward to seeing how you interpret it.

Love Radiohead since 90's and ty Columbia House and BMG for the free cd's
Prince does a cover at Coachella and kills it! but he flips the lyrics. His guitar solo is amazing!

Radiohead is definitely an acquired taste, they were very popular and won a few music awards, not everyone's cup of tea but the lyrics are sometimes complicated and hard to translate.
When they do that, start the song on a note and bring it back around, it's called a resolve
It's beautiful.
This song always makes me think of Preston in Can't Hardly Wait, Lloyd in Say Anything, and Ronald in Can't Buy Me Love.
Man , Patrice O’Neil said this was the song that stole white peoples soul when they heard it 😂😂😂
I mean… if you don’t do the air guitar part on the crutch you’re souless😂
Great reaction to a brilliant song. Patrice O'Neal does an hilarious analysis of this song. It's worth checking out.
First time listening to probably the most covered song on youtube 3 weeks ago. Congratulations
If you like how bands switch things up through their songs, give a listen to Metallica's One + Tool's Jambi... both should be right up your alley
