That's A LOT of water. We hardly see anything like that in these parts except in river valleys. At that time, my sister's family lived on the east coast of Florida in Jupiter. They had to go to an evacuation center. She recently moved to West Palm Beach.
All of downtown Bonita Springs was like that. Places were over 3 ft deep, and it took 3 weeks to get power back to most areas. Some folks were without power for over 6 weeks because of flooding. Lets hope we don't have a storm this year!!!
